Almond croissants from Choice market/Dough folks, and yeah, this is my current favorite café. Plus, the drip coffee is very tasty. With a little cinnamon and touch of half and half, and it’s my go-to when I’m in the mood for a cup. Another highlight, they also carry Dough doughnuts sans markup. The atmosphere is super cute. Large windows that face Bedford Avenue and the cross street. There’s an array of shared seating, though this space is still quite intimate. It seems like a lot of people work and hang out here. I take my book occasionally, and sometimes my diary and/or laptop to do some writing on. The staff is nice enough. While the pastries keep me coming back, I have tried an egg sandwich sometime ago. It was okay. They seem to have quite a robust menu, so perhaps I’ll sample something new sometime. Until then, almond pastries it will be.

They have great breakfast, lunch and snacks. The prices are very fair(but they are cash only). They have mid-day happy hour on their Dough doughnuts. The breakfast burrito is my breakfast go to; eggs, tomato, beans, the works. It’s savory & delicious. They also have a $ 5 breakfast bowl consisting of eggs, cheese grits, & bacon(or sausage). I work around the area and my office orders from Corner Grind at least once a day. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food is tasty. Glad to see this place in the neighborhood.

First time here, its cash only so I brought out a $ 20 for a $ 4.75 bill for small drip coffee and a dulce de leche doughnut. Lady at the register didn’t have change so had to wait for a good two minutes. The place is cozy, had a bite of my doughnut and it seemed soft and fresh. Coffee is not too hot as I would have wanted but it is decent.

Did take out for breakfast. On a mission to find some cool breakfast spots to take friends visiting from out of town and for me to grab quick food. The bacon, egg and cheese on croissant was delicious. I think it’s cooked in a lot of butter though. Also got a hot tea(limited selection). $ 11. Cash only restaurant!

Working from home I have tried various places to get something to eat, quiet and with good wifi access. This is the best spot to date. Limited seating but you can tell folks are there early to snag a seat. It is bright and most people are heads down doing their thing. So quiet I felt like I was yelling when I placed my order. The employees are friendly and keep the conversations and music low. The coffee was very good and I like that you get it in a mug instead of paper if you are staying. The breakfast cup you have a choice of sausage and bacon and I went with bacon. Served in a mug with the right amount of grits, freshly prepared scrambled eggs, and crumbled bacon. A mild white cheese was used and did not overpower the grits. Another thing I noticed is that the grits were seasoned instead of having to add it afterwards… yeah! I get people are sensitive but bland grits are awful. All the items blended together to give each spoonful the combo of grits, cheese, eggs and bacon. I do not want to overdo it but think this is my new spot for a weekly visit and to work remotely. I may also try other things since they have a full kitchen.

Just kind of alright, nothing special or outstanding. Worth going but don’t expect more then anything just casual.

Cool Coffee shop, run by the peeps at Dough. I’ve been here a couple times. I must say the last time I’ve been her I had a business meeting– the ac was off! It was legit 90 degrees and here I am sweating trying to put my best foot forward. In addition to this the music– although great– was a tad bit too loud it’s a coffee shop not a lounge. A little more subtly would do the trick. Food: I had a iced coffee, too hot inside and out for hot coffee, and a croissant. I enjoyed both so no big complaints there. I will be most likely be back since it is close to where I live, but please climate control and softer muscid Grind :-)

I was starving hungry and in need of a Cobb salad. We went here for breakfast. The iced coffee was good, very smooth. No bitterness. The Cobb salad had nice fresh vegetables and some perfectly cooked bacon, but was positively diminutive. There were a few tiny slices of(perfectly ripe) avocado, and the cheese was just a dusting. I was still ravenous after eating it. My boyfriend enjoyed his bacon egg and cheese on croissant, but found the size of it too small. Good food. Portions too small.

Still no decaf. Expectant or breast-feeding moms will have to go elsewhere. Try Stonefruit, Le Paris Dakar or Cinnamon Girl, instead.

What a great place! Quiet, well-designed and a great location, this coffee shop is an awesome place to read and relax. The coffee is excellent, and they have DOUGH doughnuts! Their breakfast burritos are insanely good! None of that annoying bacon, cheese combo in the middle. This one has black beans and dirty rice like a true breakfast burrito should. Definitely a morning favorite.

Me and the man went here for take out, I had the breakfast burrito, it had everything in it except meat, so I had them add turkey sausage, I had the drip coffee, I had no idea what this was, I’m not a coffee person, I don’t know all the different coffees, I use to just drink tea, the man brought the French Toast and the breakfast bowl it had eggs, grit, sausages, with a drip coffee, the food was good, it was a little expensive $ 30 for the two people, but I must say it was good, the people who work there was very nice, it was a lady in front of us who was asking question, couldn’t decide what to get so the lady was nice enough to explain things to her and give her pointers on the different foods, I would go there again, I seen some stuff on the menu I would love to try, it’s nice to see the different café going up in this area

Three stars: — barista can only handle one order at a time. So each person in line is waiting about ten mins. — no flavors for lattes… This is a coffee house right… ooookk… I just wasn’t impressed. To be fair I didn’t order food.

Kale Ceasar salad are served with fresh croutons courtesy of Dough, so they are some delicious deep fried pieces of bread. These croutons were the only thing to save this over-priced salad. Grits aren’t horrible, they have a good texture, but they needed to be doctored to my liking. They sell doughnuts from Dough, so you can have sweets with your coffee.

STILL cash only(the same sign is there«Cash only — for now!») and still disorganized. They finally got lids, but they’re the crappy kind that that you find at a bodega. I went in yesterday and they only had one person on staff(with about 20 customers). Took me 15 minutes to get a café au lait. They couldn’t change a $ 20 bill, so they advised the guy in front of me to go to the convenience store next door. When I put the lid on my coffee, it went everywhere. Man, I really try to get in there once a month or so, just to see if things are getting better, but it’s just more of the same. Everytime I go in there’s a new barista — it just seems like an absent owner — or an owner that doesn’t care.

Love the wooden-looking floor and wall tiles. Coffee is fine. Disappointed by the turkey burger and fries. The turkey didn’t seem like real meat and had no real taste. The fries were kind of soggy. They take cash only. There’s very limited seating, even though they have a big communal table. It would be nice to have several additional smaller tables.

Let me explain the 3 stars. Let me preface this by saying that I appreciate a coffee shop on Bedford but… 1) A coffee shop that opens at 8am. That’s the time half of the city is starting to rush to the train – it’s too late. It’s coffee not Whiskey. Please open earlier. 2) I don’t know if it’s because of the ovens in such close proximity to the counter/seating area, but it is extremely hot in here. I’m talking all.the.time. Where is the ventilation? 3) I ordered a latte. It was okay. Maybe clean out the espresso cup? 4) I haven’t had the food but I love grease and Dough’s doughnuts so I’m sure it’s great.

I love places that support other Brooklyn businesses. The coffee is from Brooklyn Company which I absolutely LOVE and doughnuts from Dough, also delicious. Prices are very reasonable! Steak & Eggs with home fries, some greens and toast for $ 10?! A good serving of French toasts for $ 8? Almost impossible to find in NY. Both meals were pretty good! What would I change? 1. The uncomfortable big communal table. It feels awkward to have a full meal sitting next to and directly across from strangers avoiding to make eye contact in a small coffee shop. 2. Serving to-stay meals in a to-go boxes, most people may not care but eating out of a box it’s something that makes my meals a little less enjoyable. Lastly, I just want to thank the owner(s) of Corner Grind for opening a spot like this in bed-stuy, you know how bad we needed it!

Great addition to the neighborhood! Really glad to have someplace nearby to get some Brooklyn Roasting Co coffee, my personal favorite, after leaving DUMBO where I had regular access [tear]. It’s a quite nice space on the inside, with seating all around and plugs for computers. Service is friendly and pretty quick(at first we sat with coffees in ceramic mugs and ate our breakfast, and when we asked for smalls to go as we were leaving, the waitress just charged us for refills. It’s the small things that matter sometimes!) None of the overcharging and hostile-hipster nonsense of Daily Press. Yes, they do have Dough doughnuts, but the breakfast cup(eggs, sausage, cheese grits) and burrito were both solid as well. Looking forward to trying their burger sometime.
