I usually don’t review Rite Aids, but I just had to for this particular location, for a particular staff member. Long lines, busy area– all understanding. Shelves are stocked, everything is neat and easy to find. I just had one particular problem with one of their cashiers. I came in 3pm on March 6th. The line was okay, I mean it wasn’t moving slow but not so fast that I’d miss this… certain cashier, first one from the right, Renee. This girl is literally listening to music, has her phone out to check out her hair and texts. She’s literally using her cell phone at the registers while ringing customers up. I expect her to be fired, or I better get a decent reason as to why she’s on her phone. There are many people out there looking for 2 cent paying jobs. Renee doesn’t seem to want hers, give it to someone else who deserves it more. This is just something I’ve never seen before. The amount of unprofessional behavior is just — and no one talks to her about anything ??? Is this normal???

I knew that places like these get too many reviewers who only comment to gripe. With that in mind, I would like to say that this place is great. Has been great every single time I’ve been there. I find their prices to be fair and they always have everything I need. The folks at the pharmacy always make life easy for me. And the fact that the store is 24hrs helps out a lot.

One star for the people in the pharmacy who are always working their asses off. Management needs to staff more people in the pharmacy because I have repeatedly had to call multiple times just to get someone to answer in the pharmacy. Then today my prescription is nowhere to be found. I get put on hold and they never come back. I’m taking my business to a local pharmacy.

If I could give them no stars I would, I’ve been trying to get in touch with the pharmacy for seriously an hour and no one answers the phone? What kind of business is this I need medication filled and the pharmacy can’t even answer the phone? As soon as someone does answer I will be sending my prescriptions elsewhere because I do not have time for this, if you have the option do not use this pharmacy

This is the worst run pharmacy I have ever been to. I ordered my photos on Tuesday for 1 hour pick up. I went on Wednesday and they weren’t even printed out so I had to come back later in the day. This was after waiting about 15 minutes for someone to actually come to the photo desk to help me. Then when i went to pick them up I had to wait another 10 minutes for help at the photo desk and then the ringing up at the register is a whole other story. I had to wait because they didn’t even have a pen for me to sign my credit card slip. VERYPOORLYRUNSTORE.

I needed some pictures for my photography class, and I have had decent experienes at Rite Aid in the past, so I thought I would give it a try. There was ONE overworked checkout girl who informed me that the photo area was upstairs. When I arrived upstairs, there was no one behind the counter. While having no one to ask, and being in a hurry, I thought that maybe I could just upload my photos without any help. The archaic computer took TWENTY minutes to pull up my photos but wouldn’t let me see all of them so I could decide which ones I needed to print. Finally, I just selected a few of the pics I could see and selected print. Nothing happened, so I went to the pharmacy area nearby to see if anyone could help me. They called on the loudspeaker/phone to ask someone to come upstairs to help, but guess what? No one came. Then I spotted another employee checking products, who I had to practically tackle to get any response. She clearly could care less whether I got any help or not and proceeded to tell me only that the machines take 30 minutes to print INSTANT photos. I asked her if she could check that my pics were indeed going to be processed and she repeated that they will take 30 minutes. I had wasted all of my time WAITING and no longer had 30 minutes before my class. I ended up leaving and going to a competitor who cheerfully help me get my prints in less than 5 minutes. I’m sure that the employees are paid practically nothing to work there and therefore don’t care at all about customer service, but honestly, there is NOEXCUSE for the incredibly awful customer service experience I endured. I will NOT be going back. EVER.

I love this rite aid. I’m in here a lot because I live really close by. They have a great selection of everything I could possibly need. However, they are way too expensive. The mark up is ridiculous, even for the area.

Low selection on shampoos when I came here. When I went to checkout(there was no line) the girl at the register just stared at me blankly before telling me how much I needed to pay. Then she took her sweet time to give me 0.78 $ change while being quite rude to me. Never coming back here again!

Can I say self-check out? This is great because if you are buying something that will raise eyebrows, no one will know buy you, the buyer. Awesome place. Neatly organized. I always come by here for random things like nachos, personal feminine products, deodorant, and tissues. I am always in and out of here like in a snap! I would come back. Plus, it is open pretty late which works for my schedule. :)

I keep coming back because I live around the corner and it has a decent selection of beer and snacks. But every time I go to pay, the line moves unbearably slowly. How could it be that it appears to be every cashier’s first day on the job? There are never enough registers open and the workers could use a new attitude. Also, the security guard staring as you go about your business makes me a little uneasy. I swear I will be paying for this nail polish!

While the location can use some consulting on costumer service and assistance with logistics of staff members at their registers i do like the place. Its close to the house, open 24 hrs now, the diapers are super cheap, large variety of products and the discount you get when using their discount card are worth the long waits and rude staff. A great place to get a bargain!

I wouldn’t ever go to this place except that they have these frozen soda popsicles I like and can’t find anywhere else. The lines are always long and slow. CVS has self checkout. Go there instead.

Its location on the busy corner of Court St. & Atlantic Ave. and right across from my apartment are the only reasons to shop here more than once. The staff is ok, and while they are not going to overwhelm you with a down home feeling, they are serviceable and at least try to help you efficiently and competently. Lines can be long here, and I’ll never understand why they don’t have someone else step in to handle returns instead of processing those at the only open register in the store. Those transactions always take about 5 minutes to complete while you stand… and wait… and look at your phone… and wait… and wish that someone would open another register… and wait… They do have a decent stock of necessities and snacks and the upstairs health and pharmacy section is the best part of the store.
