As a huge fan of diners, I don’t mean it lightly when I say this was one of the best I’ve been to. Huge selection, wonderfully friendly and attentive staff, fast service, good prices, and delicious food. I had the Mediterranean omelet and my girlfriend had the Greek with chorizo which was absolutely delicious. Definitely going to be a weekend morning staple for us going forward.

So I did a quick Unilocal search for diners in the area for Mother’s Day. We weren’t looking for something fancy or super crowded cause mom wanted to run around the city all day — so Purity seemed perfect. We walked up and they seated us at a freshly cleaned booth within seconds. It was comfy and perfect for our party of 4 adults. The staff were all smiles and super helpful with everything. The food was really good for a diner. They have a great selection of «healthier» breakfast options. Dad’s kale omelet was good and I really enjoyed my croissant breakfast sandwich. Mom had the most perfect over easy eggs ever. The waitress was great in guiding us towards ordering the silver dollar pancakes instead of the regular flapjacks as they were just as good and easier to share. The coffee was great and the cups were kept filled up throughout the entire meal. The staff were attentive but still let us hang out when our meal was done to chat and have some awesome family time. The place wasn’t packed, so we weren’t being jerks. The staff wished mom and happy mother’s day and they were so nice the entire time! Loved the family feel of the place.

Great food, attentive service, good prices. Pretty much everything a diner should be.

Conveniently located next to Methodist Hospital. Possibly more pricer than other diners but for Park Slope the prices are reasonable. Large variety of foods so of course there will be hits and misses. Nothing to right home about, nothing to complain about.

This place was right by where I was staying in slope park. Super cute neighborhood. I was hoping for a lil more«pure» food but it’s your basic American diner. Was pretty busy for breakfast but there was a seat in front by the window waiting for me. My waitress was sweet and took my order. I was in the mood for a hot, crispy, buttery waffle. While waiting for it to come I was watching the guy at the front interact with the guests. He was so warm and welcoming talking to kids etc. I had to tell him what a nice guy I thought he was. Good vibes. Anyway my waffle came and it was just ok. I think warm syrup would’ve been a nice touch.

This restaurant was just the type of place we were looking for in Brooklyn. Good food, good service, nice décor. Busy, but not crowded. Since it was after lunch, they encouraged us to stay as long as we liked to continue working. Next time I’m in town I’d like to come back and try the breakfast.

Quite a bit fancier than Little Purity but the same accommodating service with a smile. Solid, dependable diner fare. I like the home fries a bit better here: more onions and peppers but oddly the eggs are better at Little Purity. Food takes a little longer to come out at this big brother but it is a larger dining room. Don’t forget to ask for the delicious house-made salsa verde.

Background: We have 3 boys(ages 10, 8, &6). We usually come here after Sunday morning service for brunch. Starts getting packed at around 11am. You will wait coming in at this time. There’re 2 designated areas that can sit 6 comfortably(but may be occupied by parties less than). They will, however, accommodate by pushing together tables or chairs. The environment feels clean and airy. There’s the usual trendy park slope décor. The food is above average diner food. The tomato pasta dishes(w meatballs, chicken) is comfort diner food. They cook to specifications, e.g. My kid likes all the sauces from the Huevos Rancheros on the side and they accommodated, even after they screwed up the first time when they mixed it all together. Staff is friendly, and genuinely tries hard to please. Price, it’s park slope, is a bit more expensive. Typical Sunday for my fam is anywhere between 55 — 65 dollars.

It’s a diner. It’s in Park Slope, so accordingly it’s cuter and a little bit more expensive than your average diner, but it’s still got a huge menu, prices that end in $.95, and you’re better off ordering breakfast. Recommended: 1. Corned beef hash and two fried eggs with potatoes and toast. Solid. 2. Huevos Rancheros. Good, and a surprisingly pretty plate. 3. Arriving a little early, as there might be a short wait for a table. 4. After you’re done eating, saying you’re running late for something else so you can leave and let someone else pay. Not Recommended: 1. The Monte Cristo. It just wasn’t good. 2. Eating breakfast here about an hour before eating soup dumplings. You need more time to digest.

After a night at methodist I was starrrvin, and noticed this place on my way to the F train. Stopped in, it’s cozy not too bright(just how I like it) service was quick everyone was pleasant. I had a Florentine omlet(hash browns and toast came with) with coffee and a orange juice. The food was average diner food. Coffee was great. The staff could have been a little more attentive to customers and I noticed one server wiping her runny nose with her fingers then serving kinda gross, but not everyone was like that. I’d go back if I’m in the area. My bill was $ 12.40 that’s pretty decent to me for NYC

Solid, fast, diner food. It’s a matter of convenience. The service is decent and the food is decent. I have a super sensitive stomach and I’ve never ever had a problem. Breakfast is best!

Grits, fried eggs, corned beef hash and an English Muffin. Coffee and a shot glass of O.J. on the side. None of my food tasted good enough to make me scream, «Oh yeah!» but a check for just $ 8.95 in the end made me say, «Ohhh… nice! «After laying up in the ER all night, Purity Diner for breakfast in the morning was all right with me.

This was a last-minute Sunday brunch drop in, really looking for something affordable and not too over complicated. There are days where I want eggs Benedict with a fruit compote reduction demiglasse bladeblah, and then there are days where I just want a pancake. Definitely a bit of a surprise — not your ordinary greasy spoon! Cool vintage signage and decoration around the place which created a cozy, «hanging in my grandparents house» feel. Food was fast and tasty! Compared to your average diner, food was fresh, delicious, good portions, and tasted like the ingredients it was made of(no small thing!). I had the huevos rancheros — home fries were a bit dry but the huevos were tasty, nice pico de gallo on top! Wife had pancakes, light and fluffy. I think we’ll be adding Purity to our rotation :)

I must have ordered a side of miserable along with my omelet. The two guys working here were a couple of sour pusses. The food wasn’t fresh nor tasty. I had to cover it in salt and pepper. No smiles, poor service. Avoid this joint!

Popped in today for a quick lunch. Small and quiet dinner. No Wifi! I had a grapefruit juice which wasn’t fresh although advertised as such, and a basket of fried chicken with French fries. It was supposed to come with coleslaw too, but the waitress forgot and she was too aloof to come and check in on me, so I didn’t ask either. The French fries were ok, but overlooked. The chicken was very good tough. Yummy. I wouldn’t go back for sure!

Didn’t like it at all! The place was merely empty, we sat quickly, waited and waited for someone, anyone to take our order, I’m so damn SIMPLE eggs, bacon, homefries, toast, and don’t forget the coffee please. The food took forever to come out! At least 20 minutes, I’m use to being in & out of a diner. The coffee wasn’t food, the bacon was like rubber, homefries tasted like absolutely NOTHING! No flavor, I had to add tons of salt, which I hate doing, and even the eggs were flavorless, never in my life did I have eggs that tasted like absolutely nothing… I will stick to my fifth avenue diners…

I went there for a last hoorah with a friend leaving town. The service was decent but I did not like the vegetable plate. The vegetables felt either overcooked into mush or like they had been steamed right from the freezer. For $ 10, I thought it would at least come with a sauce, flavoring, or be stir fried. The fries, however, were delicious.

Typical dinner. Nice size dinning area. Counter dude was really friendly and helpful. They have your standard diner menu. Price is average to high! I ordered a roast beef sandwich, I guess I forgot to say hot. Sandwich was colder than cold. I wish they would of asked me hot or cold because I obviously didn’t order correctly. Bread not toasted, gravy I asked for on the side was not that good at all! We always get to go, so cant comment on the dinning in experience. Been visiting this place for years now, closest thing to Methodist hospital that’s good! Will def be back, just need to be specific next time.
