Wow unreal how bad the service is over hear so I ordered a omelet with no potatoes because I am allergic to onions asked for a side of avocado instead they put potatoes with the onions after they had me waiting 1 hour after the lady on the phở said 20 mins so I called back and told them my issue they said so sorry we will be getting your order back to you in 10 mins waited another hour to receive my order just the worse service there is a way better diner called parks café they are really good and on point with your food check them out because these guys are a waste of time and money a bunch or liars

It’s okay. Not bad, but I’ve had better. My friend and I came here for our first meal together after I landed. She lives in the area so it made sense that we would go somewhere close to where she lived. I ended up getting the Harlem classic with cheese and the Harlem Shake, both which seemed like their well known dishes. The burger was okay. It wasn’t bad, just really greasy. I added grilled onions for extra, which isn’t a bad idea, but it’s weird I need to pay for it. Not the worst burger, I’ve tasted, but definitely not the best either. I ended up getting the Harlem Shake, which should be a red velvet shake. However it just tasted like a vanilla shake. The cake wasn’t well mixed into all the other ingredients. So then at the end, I ended up a big chunk of soggy cake, not all that appealing. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place to go with friends in the neighborhood but I would never suggest this place to go out of your way to go to.

The food is always very good. The service is generally good. Value for the money is also good. My only negative was yesterday. I order breakfast at the counter with coffee(the omelet was fantastic). I ask for a coffee to go as I needed to get to a class. When I was surprised I was getting charged additional, I asked about it. The waitress was defensive, and when I told her that was a bit annoying she made an off hand comment that it’s a full moon, so all the weirdos come out. As other neighborhood diners in the area don’t charge for a coffee to go when you already ordered one, I don’t think my question warranted that remark. But it shouldn’t stop people from going — the value otherwise is worth it.

Daisy’s diner is one of those typical NYC or in this case Brooklyn diners. It serves the obligatory breakfast menu, the egg menu, the sandwich menu, the burgers and anything else you heart might want in one place. The banquette seating the bar seating the table seating they have it all and right on 5th Ave in Brooklyn. It is a casual place to grab some food and be on your way. No fuss.

Short and sweet — no one knows how to read Seamless/Grub Hub orders at all. I order from this place pretty frequently and there has been a handful of times that they got my order CORRECT. Yes you read that right… correct. Pros –Cheap…you get what you pay for. –Open late night… again…you get what you pay for. Cons –Food generally comes cold or room temperature at best. –Specific items that are CLEARLYASKEDTOBEREMOVED always shows up in the order. –Customer Service is terrible. Spoke with a manager tonight about my order and he completely rushed me off the phone. — You’re lucky if your food comes intact –Bread is NOT suppose to be SOGGY especially with a hamburger –Soggy fries? Really? I can keep going… but you get the point. You’ve definitely lost my business. Bottom line — replace staff, get better delivery guys, and learn to fucking read.

This place is so run down I feel dirty when I have come here. The seats are all ripped up, usually it’s dirty, and there is a smell of old oil. I’ve come here twice, only because I had forgotten how bad the first time was. If you come here at night it’s like they cook on old grease. It tastes like bowling alley food at best. Beware if you eat from here.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the staff here again. My order didn’t come after two hours. I was reassured twice it was on its way, but it turns out they were confused and didn’t even fire it. The manager is horrible on the phone. He hangs up on you if he gets frustrated.

I came here at around 12 am because my roommate and I were hungry as can be. We both got some burgers. The fries were fresh. The burger was so delicious and tender. And the prices were more than reasonable. We had to get a milkshake for the walk home. That was so tasty. We were so full it was hard to walk back.

Omg my first time here just passing by wanted something to eat and man was I glad I stopped here. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles and great service. Before I sat in my seat I had water and oj waiting for me(no one does this anymore). My server absolutely amazing and genuinely kind. The food was served super fast and every bites was delicious. I love a good diner and Daisy Diner is really good. I had the Mexican salad it was awesome grilled chicken corn avocado mushrooms in a taco shell. Yummy. My Bestie had the portobello burger she loved it. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The portions are great and food was good we will be back!

Okay. So. The burger and fries came fast(for 3am) and they were good. Here is there reason for the two star review: they rang the bell. I asked in my GrubHub order for the delivery instructions to the«call my cell.» I thought that might not be good enough, so I called the restaurant to make sure. I told the girl that he MUST call my cell. I called back again when he was out for delivery to confirm that he would call. Well well well. He rang the bell. AND he wasn’t sure which of the two delivery meals in his hands was mine… OMG. So. located mine. I read the instructions to him. He apologized. Then, 2 minutes later I get a call from the restaurant. He want’s to let me know that the delivery guy is downstairs… REALLY?! I let that guy know that everyone in my apartment had already been woken up because the delivery guy rang the bell and wasn’t even sure once he got to my door that it was the right delivery. So, I look forward to ordering delivery at an easier time of day. But this was truly disappointing.

I’m really confused as to how I missed so many diners as part of my reviews. I practically live in diners and Daisy’s is hardly an exception. When I lived on 23rd Street, I went here often. Took many a date(both before and after(if it was a successful date lol)). They have great service, delicious food, and always an interesting mix of people if you go late enough. Plus, it’s the place I randomly run into my college buddy Holden who drives a bus nearby.

I’m disappointed. I’ve been coming here on and off for almost 2 years now, and while it’s possible my opinion has just been slowly jaded, I’m relatively sure this diner is really only alright. The food is fine, the prices are fine, the décor is fine. What gets to me the most? The staff. It’s not that the servers aren’t friendly(they aren’t), or competent(they’re so-so), or on top of their serving game(nope). It’s that they are rude not only to customers, but to each other — and they aren’t shy about it. There is one man in particular that I have consistently seen working there, and I have consistently watched the other servers treat him like garbage. He occasionally serves, but I have primarily seen him taking drink orders and busing tables, and all he gets is screamed out. I took my younger sister there for breakfast just a few weeks ago, and 4 different times, we watched the other servers call him slow, an idiot, and almost knock him over while running back and forth to the kitchen. This, on top of how rude the server was to my sister(who is 9) completely turned me off from ever coming back. I don’t care that their pancakes are fluffy. I don’t plan on eating at Daisy’s anymore.

Open 24 hours! Came to this spot occasionally for lunch, workers are OK, but there’s this one Hispanic lady that’s not so nice, you just walk in an pick a seat, they don’t seat you! Ordered and food came out in 5 mikes fresh + hot. Belgian waffles were really fluffy and tasted awesome, home fries the bomb! I honestly will kill for there bacon ! Every meal I get here fills me up! This spot is good for good prices+ midnight munchies + drunk food + delivery. they also have a large menu def one of my favz

Even though I had a horrible experience today 9÷1÷13 I will still not hold it against past experience. So today I called like I do EVERY morning to order breakfast, I ALWAYS order either French toast with bacon, or over easy with bacon, large coffee and a side of bacon. Usually an older woman picks up and recognizes me as soon as I give her the address, we usually have the quick«how are you today» conversation, my order is taken quickly, and arrives fast, never ever an issue. Today I call and I’m not in the mood for eggs, so I order my other usual, French toast with bacon, the food arrives quick, I open it and its pancakes and bacon. Ok not a problem I will call the diner and tell them they brought the wrong thing. The YOUNG girl who picked up the phone(same one who took the order) picked up, I informed her that I ordered French toast not pancakes her response… no you didn’t! I know what I heard! Stop lying! And HUNGUP on me! Yep that’s right hung up, no apology, no we will get the right order out to you, just called me a liar, said she is positive of what she heard and hung up! So I call back, a man picks up with a Spanish accent, I asked him who was the person I was just speaking to, and he puts me on hold. The woman who I normally speaks to picked up, I explained to her the situation, she apologizes over and over, even saying she knows what I order because I call there every morning! I explained to her that its not appropriate to be hung up on especially when I am spending an average of $ 20 a day ordering breakfast! I am not a pain in the behind customer, I keep it simple and quick! When I asked for the young girls name, all of a sudden no one knew her name, when I asked to speak to the manager, he was away. The manager actually delivered my correct order, he apologized, and was sorry when he seen the address, knowing how much I order from them. He also explained that the reason why the woman wouldn’t give me the girls name is because they’re mother & daughter. Regardless of the situation, it is highly unprofessional to hang up on a loyal customer and call them a liar! I will still continue to order, I do like the breakfast, and the bacon is delicious. I just didn’t like the situation today, I don’t ask for much when it comes to things, and will barely write a bad review on a place, but I am a strong believer on GOOD customer service!
