Had a blast! Took my family out for dinner, the kids wanted pizza. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. We were seated in the rear patio area, nice atmosphere. Ordered 3 different pies, Food did not take long nor did it disappoint. Coming from a pizza snob who’s first job while in high school was a pizza parlor. i’m not easily impressed but very much enjoyed the delicious food here. I’m a fan!

I am updating this to two stars because the owners did refund us the money we paid for the pizza without us asking. While this doesn’t change anything I wrote in my previous review, the classy gesture bumped them up a star in my book.

This is hands down the most delicious pizza I ever had. This includes the pizza I had in Naples, Italy.

I’d been to Broccolino before for dinner, and didn’t realize until an embarassingly long time later that they share their kitchen with Pizza Superstar next door(at least the pizza oven). I placed an order on the Unilocal app, and then made my way over. They were just starting my order, so I sat at the bar and played Candy Crush because I’m an adult. I went with the broccoli rabe and sausage pizza. $ 16 before tax and tip for a 12″ personal pie. Not the cheapest, but sometimes you gotta treat yoself. The pie itself was okay. Nothing to write home about. The underside of the crust could’ve been more evenly cooked. The toppings could’ve been better spread out. But it took 15 minutes on a Saturday night. Honestly, I can’t see Pizza Superstar lasting for a long time. Patsy’s is two doors down and they have a much cooler space and their pizza is better. And then there’s Artichoke around the corner for ungodly large slices. But hey, I’ll never complain about a surplus of pizza.

Tiny pizza place in BK, my boyfriend and I stopped in after a concert @ Barclays– ordered a buffalo mozz pizza w spicy salami & mushrooms and a bottle of Pinot Grigio– service was impeccable — pizza was out in less than 10 – 12 mins. Was delicious & the entire staff is super nice. Great date night spot– good atmosphere & played good music too(top 40& good hip hop)

We have eaten here several times and the pizza has been good. However, the pizza we had delivered was barely edible. The crust was very thin, usually a good thing, but it was so soggy that it couldn’t even be picked up. The pizza didn’t have much taste and the toppings were very scant. I do recommend it for eat in, the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Just don’t get delivery.

I was really nervous about trying Pizza Superstar, as the name seemed a bit inauthentic, but please don’t let the name deter you! I honestly thought this was some of the best pizza I have had in New York. The crispy, thin crust pizza is cooked in a large, front-of-house brick oven. You can watch the chef add the fresh ingredients and toss your pizza while you enjoy complimentary focaccia. The Prosciutto Pizza is a must. It is baked to perfection with bubbling fresh mozzarella cheese and tasty tomato sauce, then piled high with arugula and thinly sliced prosciutto. The mild mozzarella and salty prosciutto balances perfectly for a truly incredible mouthful. Do not leave without trying dessert. We watched as the chef rolled ricotta cheese and Nutella into large pizza dough pockets. He baked the dessert calzone until the Nutella and cheese fused together and the dough was crispy. It was served to us on a plate with a few dollops of ricotta, a drizzle of more Nutella and powdered sugar. Basically heaven on a plate. The mix of the ricotta with Nutella was perfect, as it gave the filling a more fluffy, lite texture with a fresh bite to it. This is also located down the street from the Barclays Center. I suggest taking a trip here right before your next concert or game. Grab food and a few drinks — you wont regret it.

How about a 20 $ cold pizza delivered an hour late to your door? Im the fool that had to pay for this. Never again.

Thin crust, brick oven pizza done right. I discovered Pizza Superstar last night as I was exiting the Barclays center. I Wasn’t expecting much but was hungry and wanted to end my night with couple of slices. I decided to go with a pepperoni Slice and another interesting looking slice with chicken? & prochuito? Not sure, remember I was drunk. Their slices are very big and they use a generous amount of cheese and toppings. The crust is crispy and thin and real absorbs that brick oven flavor. The pepperoni slice is rated highly among pizza shops that I frequent and the other slice that I can’t accurately describe was OUTSTANDING. It’s up there with the best slices I’ve had in recent memory. This place gets 5 stars. They are open late, the pizza is excellent and they accept debit. This spot is an exception the trend of terrible pizza that has taken over this town. I will make this part of my ritual whenever I’m at Barclays

We went for lunch and ordered two 12″!pizzas, a beer and a pelligrino soda(meatlovers and melazane with eggplant). The pizzas were fresh, made to order and had great ingredients and topping choices. I loved the thin crust and I will definitely be back.

Pizza today is as common as hoagies, hamburgers and scones. However, like anything else, we all have become very selective and discerning when it comes to our pizza and pizza eateries. I’m happy to report Pizza Superstar has made it on my pizza craving destination list. If your looking for some over hyped pizza spot then this is not the place for you. Lots of places get dubbed #1, only to end up as so-so. Now, if your looking for authentic Italian style pizza that’s made on the spot-brick in a brick oven oven, then BINGO, this is the place for you. I know that not saying much but please, take my word for it. Additionally, the selection of pizza options surprised me and given the looks on he faces of fellow diners, we all shared a common approving smile and empty pizza serving platters. One last point, if your like me and like dessert after your meal, let’s just say they deliver on this front as well. I’m a fan and I’m sure you will be as well. The pizza and service was Magnifique!

Pizza Superstar is a nice addition to the neighborhood. Importantly, it’s not a slice joint, but a nicer sit-down place with table service. My boyfriend and I had an excellent Groupon which included two pies and two beers. Since the friendly server(with a cute Italian accent) told us we could order anything, we opted for two of the fancier pies. If you go this route, the pizza will arrive piled so high with delicious toppings that the crust gets a bit lost underneath. It will fall apart in the middle immediately, so you should fork and knife it. My prosciutto pizza was delicious and definitely more successful. My boyfriend got the bresaola, which was alright. We both found it very salty since there was no tomato sauce to provide some much needed acidity. I don’t think I would order either of these pies again without the Groupon, however. I’m the kind of girl who prefers a $ 1 slice more than an $ 18 fancy-pants pie when it’s my wallet on the line. I wish I had tried their Margherita pie too, since its probably more similar to a traditional pizza. I’ll definitely come back to check it out and grab a calzone too– they looked great.

So, super bummed– we like broccolino and we’re excited for a new pizza place in our neighborhood. When the pizza came the cardboard was bent, looked like it was dropped. All the toppings were squished into the creased. Worst part is it looked like they put some kind of aioli on the margherita! It was disappointing. The restaurant refunded our money and sent he delivery guy to pick it up. I think this might not be a good delivery place, maybe better in person.

Charming and delicious new pizza place in Park Slope! I frequent their restaurant Brocollino, which is next door and decided to try their pizza tonight. It was FANTASTIC. I’m not one for pizza usually, but this pizza was no ordinary pie. They have very thin crust, pasta sauce is great, brick oven, the whole deal. The ambience is intimate, they had pretty fresh flowers on every table, cute tin ceiling, very appropriate for the neighborhood. Service was attentive, but not pushy. The owner came and spoke to us and at the end of the meal brought us each our own personal size NUTELLACALZONE. My fiancé, and I quote said, «the Nutella calzone makes a Nutella crape look like a bitch». Classy. Truth. Date night worthy.

Pizza Superstar, a restaurant under the same owner as Broccolino next door, is a casual spot for a 13″ individual pizza with a very thin crust. Like so thin that the cheese slides off. Once you get over the technical eating issues, it’s actually a quite tasty pizza. We had a Margherita($ 12) and Spicy Salami($ 13). The Margherita was classic, with plenty of fresh mozz and a sprig of basil(that I had to cut up myself and distribute to the pieces) and the Salami was literally so spicy that my face hurt. All in all, a pretty good pizza spot in an area that is already quite pricey(thanks Barclay’s!)

Neat place! Service was friendly. Small though, not much room for sit down. But it was a really unique place. Location is great, it’s right next to the Barclays Center(Where the Nets play) so you can go here before or after game and makes for a great night. Pizza was pretty good, but everything fell off as soon as you got it. I suggest folding the pizza and eating it sandwich style. Overall, this was a good place to eat.

Just ate here. Was nervous because of the name, but it’s in our neighborhood, so we had to try it. Super yum. The Superstar salad and the meatball pizza(on special) were fantastic. The pizza dough is slightly too thin in the middle, so I lost a few meatballs to my plate… But the crust was perfect, and the sauce was sweet but not too sweet. The salad was fresh, simple and refreshing. We will definitely be back!

Darn. I really wanted to be impressed. This was for delivery, so I suspect it will be better in person. Crust was SO thin that it was flimsy and flaccid upon arrival. When I picked up the box, it actually felt empty. When I reheated a piece for my husband, it was so thin that even with the cheese on top it was translucent. It was cold upon arrival to boot(we’re a clip away so again, something that I’m sure wouldn’t be an issue in the restaurant). There were some lovely looking options on the menu and we’d definitely give it a try again in person. I would not recommend for delivery.
