I’ve been coming to this neighborhood spot for pizza since I was a kid. This is one of the most authentic spots for what I believe is crispy Italian pizza. The grandma pies are delicious and crispy. The cheese just follows every bite you take. For delivery, they do take a while.

My friends and I ordered a grandma pie from here via Grubhub because we had a $ 10 discount. I was not won over with this pie because I prefer my slices sicilian and like any good Brooklyn slice — with a thin crust and perfect amount of cheese and tomato sauce on top. I’m not sure if I’ll be ordering from here again in the future since I do not live in this area, and I believe there are better pizza joints in Bensonhurst due to the Italian population, but this rating could easily bumped up if I had probably ordered a sicilian pie instead. The delivery was quicker than the promised time and the pizza was piping hot when it arrived.

Great customer service! I ordered only two slices of pizza, Margarita and Chicken & Bacon, I loved the Margarita, they still gave me a box and presented to me with a great smile. I will be back.

Id have dropped my review to 1 star if I was a jerk. As you can see from previous reviews, I’ve been ordering from this place consistently for the last few years, always ordering chicken Marsala, francese, or chicken Parmesan. The chicken francese was TERRIBLE tonight. As in inedible. I’ll normally suffer through it and not ask for credit, but the chicken was tough and the sauce was butter and water… Not a hint of lemon, and incredibly loose and liquidy. Had grubhub call for a refund because I couldn’t eat this dinner, restaurant refused to issue a credit because«they tried the sauce today and it was fine» and«maybe I don’t know what francese is supposed to taste like.» A. I’ve been eating this for years from this restaurant. B. I was a chef for half of my life. Grubhub wound up issuing me a credit for the meal. Probably won’t be ordering from here again any time soon.

Gets the job done when get a craving and become the pizza monster. The pizza is very okay, so no complains here. One improvement I would propose: yall should probably make the crust thinner for the special slices. Gotta get that pizza-to-topping ratio correct, guys. Come on now.

The man who answered the phone was rude. I’m not sure what his name was but I called 5 minutes after placing an order to change something and nobody answer and in fact, the call went straight to voicemail. Weird? This is a business, why am I getting a cellphone voicemail recording? Then he proceeds to call me back and it was something Cruz, he was having a hard time with finding my order and curses on the phone. Just rude and not professional at all.

This place has awesome lighting outside and gives you that real Italian feel when you’re outside. However, their pizza was horrible when I last ordered about 2 days ago. We drove for about 2 – 3 minutes home before opening the pizza box and eating it. When we tried to pick up a slice(and this happened to every slice), the cheese and topping slid off of half of the slice. The pizza did not taste good, and was extremely wet for some reason — Water dripped off of the slices, not oil. Worst of all, this place is more expensive than most other pizzerias, they charge $ 5 per topping, so my pizza ended up costing $ 25 with two toppings. Very disappointed and will not order here again.

This pizzaria has awful customer service. The pizza was not whole, with all the toppings all scewed to the side, and we had about half a pizza that was barren. There was honestly nothing pleasant about the experience. When I called about getting my problem fixed, they gave me plenty of round-a-bouts, and nothing really got done. I would assume a business trying to keep customers would do a better job at handling these problems. Would definitely not recommend. file:///Users/oscarpineda/Downloads/20141223_204138.jpg

Good pizza much better than davids pizzeria. This place makes better quality pizza and has more varieties. Price is a little bit more for the pizza pie but worth it!

I’ve been to this place many times for several years. I’ve noticed that the prices have gone up a couple of times in the past year. Despite that I still go there because they make the best pizzas and the best chicken roll in the neighborhood. I rarely sit at the table in this pizzeria so I don’t know how clean it usually is but when I have sat at their tables it was clean. I’ve used their bathroom once and it was clean. The front of the store has always been clean. I’ve ordered their Taco Pizza many times and its usually delicious but recently it tasted awful. The first bite of the Taco Pizza that I tasted recently was good but not the other bites. It seems that the Pizza was made fresh but one or two of their ingredients was expired. Their Pepperoni Pizza is consistently delicious. Their Plain Pizza is mediocre. As for the staff they rarely screw up my order but when they have they have given me other free food along with the correct order. Depending on who’s serving you you should point to what you want so that way they won’t screw up your order.

Did not eat on the restaurant side. So I dont know about their customer service or food. But the pizzeria has a bad customer service. And the quality of their food is not that great. Tried calling them twice to place an order. As soon as some spanish accented dude answered the phone, he asked me to hold and then disconnected my call. Twice! I hate places that do not treat their customers with a little bit of respect. This is just one of them. I wonder how much business have these people lost because of their rude workers. The one star is a force star.

Easily one of the worst pizzerias in Brooklyn. Don’t get me wrong, Gabi A. is a lover of all pizzas. It doesn’t matter what shape or form the pizza is, whether it’s gourmet or greasy and orange, I absolutely love pizza. Here’s a couple of reasons why I despise this place: a) the pizza is horrible, it’s pricey and thin and tastes like I would imagine paper to taste like… with a WHOLE load of grease. b) avoid the garlic knots… you will thank me later. The garlic knots smell like garlic, but don’t taste it… quite peculiar. And they taste stale. So unless you like your garlic knots stale and tasteless then I suppose you can order them… b) the service, GEEZ where do they find these people to work here?! They speak like«cuginos» from 1958. And they’re extremely rude. I had to beg for sauce for my garlic knots and they were reluctant to give them to me. A normal straight guy would say the guy behind the counter was hitting on me but honestly that’s inappropriate to do to your customers. The only good thing that they serve at this restaurant is their chicken teriyaki salad… I know you probably think I’m insane for ordering teriyaki at a pizzeria but it’s the only thing good on their menu!

Pizza is not bad, kinda pricey. Nothing out of the ordinary for me. They also serve pasta, italian ices. They deliver, and they have a pick up window.

I like their square pies, but it’s a pretty expensive pizzeria and they keep raising their prices. Toppings keep going up. Some are up from $ 3.50 to $ 5 for a pie. Square pies are about $ 20. I have been other places that are the same quality and they charge like $ 13 for a square pie. I used to get the raviolis with meatballs and a couple of rice balls. I like their rice balls and the raviolis are okay, but for some reason the taste of the«meat» balls had changed so I stopped ordering the dish. Their meat balls are the frozen spongy type. They give you like 4 raviolis and 2 fake meatballs for like $ 13. The rice balls are separate and are around $ 1 a piece which is good. I like their garlic knots and they aren’t expensive, but sometimes(depending on the time of day I guess), they come harder than other times and aren’t as enjoyable. The cardinal rule with pizzerias is to only trust their pizza. If their pizza is crap then you should never go back. Pizza Royale’s pizza is pretty good, but it’s pretty pricey so I only order it once in a blue moon.

A-OK folks! I liked the Pizza. I don’t recall anything special about it. But, it was still good, and it made my tummy happy. So, I’d recommend to give it a try!

Sometimes their pizzas are a bit pricey for a slice, but I’ve been ordering here for years. I’m just here for their rice balls or garlic bread most of the time. I’m glad it’s not too far to walk, but it’s okay.

This place is located at Forthamilton Parkway, right next to the Great Wall Supermarket. I personally like this place ONLY for their lunch specials. They were originally $ 5.95 for a choice of pasta, two slices and soda or grilled chicken salad but now they bumped it up to $ 6.95 per order. For dinner, their pasta dishes are pretty pricey so I recommend ordering this for lunch only! Some lunch specials I recommend are: Eggplant Parm with Penne Penne Absolut Mussel Marinara Red or White Clam Linguine As for the grilled chicken salad, I’ve order this dish three times. and the chicken was super dry all three times. So if you don’t like dry and overcooked chicken breast, then do not order this BUT if you like it, go for it!

This used to be my late night, just got home from work, screw walking anywhere far place. It was nice and close and also had some pretty cool specialty pieces. My favorite thing to get is the spinach and chicken slice but they’ve got other interesting combinations to try too. There’s a few tables and a bathroom inside which is nice and the staff has always been friendly to me. I’d say the place is a little on the expensive side but it’s not enough to scare me away from grabbing a slice occasionally.

I categorize pizza places based on the follow: a) good for a plain slice b) good for a specialty slice /chicken roll /calzone c) good for straight up italian food Pizza Royale is smack in the b) section. The specialty slices are awesome. Vodka sauce slice… chicken rolls… LASAGNASLICE are really good. Regular pizza slices are good, but your best off with the special slices. And the garlic knots are A-OK!

It makes me sad to give this place a mediocre review because the establishment is very clean and air conditioned properly which is rare in a pizzeria. Plus they have a restroom for customers and service is very good. But let’s get down to the food… The pizza is very inconsistent and they are pretty pricey if you order slices with extra toppings. I definitely agree with Ellen that the toppings cover up the taste of their crappy pizza. I guess the only thing I like in here are their garlic knots but you can’t really screw that up right? If you go and you are hungry, I would recommend the lasagna pizza slice. It’s interesting and more flavorful than the other stuff.
