I tried Peeled Snacks because of an AmazonLocal coupon. I was so excited to try their dried fruit after reading about it on their website, and couldn’t wait for the box to arrive. But when it did, I couldn’t believe my eyes! The apricots were almost black in color, and they taste AWFUL!!! I’m talking INEDIBLE! And this is not just my opinion. I asked several friends to try them as well, and it took a lot of coaxing to even get them to try the different fruits, but they ALL agreed that these were the WORST dried fruits they had ever tried. Pineapple: tastes stringy like it’s from the core. Banana isn’t crisp but soft and tastes rotten. mango looks like leather and tastes like it too. I wrote asking for a refund and they said, «Taste is subjective, sorry, no.» But AmazonLocal might give you your $ 15 back. What kind of company won’t stand behind their products? Only one with bad products. DON’T believe the hype. Their products are garbage! If I could give negative stars I would.(this is the first negative comment I’ve ever posted on Unilocal*)

Peeled Snacks sells some really awesome organic dried fruits. The texture are excellent. They are soft, easy to chew and very moist. Not to mention being super tasty even though no extra sugar were added. Mango, banana and pineapple are my favorites. I wish more grocery stores would carry these so I don’t have to wait for the delivery. I simply cannot go back to having regular grocery store bought dried fruits once I have tried these. $ 20 for $ 40 deal still running on Trubates as of today.
