Ordered a chow mein. Something else showed up. No flavor. I call to complain. Im told chow mein doesnt have noodles and what I ordered is correct. Then they hung up. Great.

Disgusting. What kind of teriyaki chicken is this? Never heard of red teriyaki sauce. I called the restaurant and they were not open to exchanging for something else.

Good solid place. Suspiciously good value. Food tastes good. Live nearby and my friends find it good. Overall, good.

My neighborhood Chinese joint. Everything you’d ever want and more from a classic American-Chinese spot. Chicken and broccoli much better than soggy stuff you get at other Chinese spots. Quick delivery, cheap as hell, and delicious. The holy trinity. Best local Chinese if this is your area.

An incredible sense of humor pervades this place, the reviews and anything else connected to it. Wait for the«food«to come and that humor will turn into horror. How someone straight can like the content of the styrofoam boxes adds a layer of mystery, honestly only serious k2 intoxication can help a derelict going through the hot and sour soup. After a few spoons I decide that the sewage system was the right place where to dispose such a waste. I would pass describing the rest of my lazy(I cook 90% of the times) dinner, I can only wish the owners to be featured on a sanitation bulletin.

Surprisingly low rating. It’s not a 5-star restaurant but solid food, fast delivery, and excellent prices. Delivery: 30 mins Food: asked for light oil and got it! This is huge for Chinese delivery. –Chicken fried rice and Szechuan chicken were light with great spice and crunchy veggies –Sesame chicken was a bit bready but good, not too saucy or greasy –Steamed chicken dumplings were hot and yummy, a bit doughy –Chicken wonton soup was a bit salty but arrived hot with great plump wontons –Scallion pancakes were nice and fried but not too much flavour — great for satisfying a fried food craving and can easily be enhanced with the sauce they provide. At $ 3.50 you can’t go wrong –Love the option for soda as a side Definitely recommend and would order again.

This is the worst chinese place in the area! I ordered via seamless over 2.5 hours ago and am still waiting for my food from this place. Every time I call to check on my order they say that it is on its way and hang up. This is unacceptable behavior for a restaurant! They refuse to give my money back for this order. I will never order from here again and hope no one else does either!

I’ve ordered takeout from No 1, and it is a solid option when you are craving Chinese food in Bedstuy. The delivery is quick, and the food is good. We ordered wanton soup, pork fried rice, Hunan style triple delight and steamed dumplings. The dumplings were very doughy but exactly what I was craving. The triple delight wasn’t too saucy, but could have been a little more spicy. Though I was disappointed that there were no fortune cookies(and no spoons for our soup!). There has to be bad karma for Chinese restaurants that don’t give out fortune cookies… how else am I supposed to learn Chinese?

I was craving Chinese food for the second night straight and was too embarrassed to order from my ususal Chinese take-out spot. I pass by this place everyday when entering the subway station and decided to give it a try. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but honestly that doesn’t matter. Can they make a delicious and crispy eggroll and tasty plate of General Tso’s? Now that is what matters. I am happy to report the answer to those questions is in fact yes. I have to say that I enjoyed my meal from here. Was it the best tasting Chinese food? No. But it certainly wasn’t the worst. I would come back here if I was too lazy to go to my usual spot. Overall, I am happy that I found a reliable spot near my apartment.

My girlfriend swears by this place, and I tend to agree. The best Chinese delivery in the ‘hood, although not the outright best– in my opinion Chan’s Garden on Myrtle is equally good. I’ll call it a tie for now but please know that I’m determined to settle this debate!

I tried as hard as I could, but I couldn’t get rid of my craving for General Tso’s Chicken. Since No 1. is right outside the Bedford-Nostrand G train stop, I popped in one night after work. The place is small and only has one table for dine it, but I figure most of their business is take-out or delivery. My food was better than expected – the chicken wasn’t super crunchy, but had the right flavors. I also liked that it didn’t come in a puddle of sauce. The rice was fine, nothing to write home about. One let down was my egg roll – too salty! But overall, a decent meal for take-out. Cash only, so come prepared or use the ATM.

I picked up a large wonton soup the other day and found a ROACH in it! This place has a C rating from the health department. That is the lowest grade one can get before getting shut down. Eat at your own risk. You have been warned…

this is absolutely my go to take out restaurant. i’ve ordered from them numerous numerous times, and they’ve been life savers when dinner isn’t on the table haha. the cantonese wonton soup is as good as it gets. even better than the ones served in restaurants in chinatown! the wings are delightfully tasty and so is pretty much everything else! great service and prices!

Ordered from here once, delivery was quick. Usually order pickup as it’s not far from my house. Pretty standard inoffensive chinese food, similar to what i’ve had in countless other places. Sesame chicken is saucy, greasy, and tasty. Perfect hungover comfort food. Steamed dumplings are large and doughy Spring rolls good. Unimpressed by the lo mein I would order again because it’s convenient and tasty for the price. Great value, I always order a small entrée and it’s always too much.

I’ve ordered from this place twice. Delivery was quick. The minimum for delivery is only $ 8, which is enough to cover 1 combination meal(dish, rice, egg roll) and one appetizer = perfect. General Tso’s is great; not too saucy. The egg rolls are a little weird though… Spring rolls are delicious! Will order again.
