If you’re not in a hurry, this is a fantastic place. I love love love their breakfast burritos and wraps. I’m particularly a fan of the sweet potato wrap and the thanksgiving wrap. Also if you like egg salad, the egg salad sandwich is a MUSTTRY. I’ve found the owner to be super friendly as well. It is small, so if you want to linger just know that tables aren’t always available, but I work there for a couple of hours over lunch occasionally with no problem. I will say that if you ARE in a hurry to just grab something quickly, including coffee, the service is really mixed. You could get what you want right away, but it’s 50⁄50 in my experience. The staff in general are pretty laid back and I think that’s fine — I just know that if I’m in a hurry or feeling impatient not to go there. :) Otherwise, two thumbs up!

I came here after going to Animal Kind Veterinary Hospital where my dog was being treated for kidney failure. My nerves were really fried and I needed to grab something to eat. Unfortunately, the woman at the counter was rude and made me feel stupid. She didn’t get my order the first time, and snapped at me when I asked for the whole wheat option. I was hoping for something soothing, and this was not what I needed. When the wrap came out, a different person handed it to me. He was very nice and professional. I walked away and tweeted to the establishment about the first employee’s rudeness. To my surprise I got a really snarky tweet back from the café saying that the employee was entitled to be rude because another employee was in an accident, followed by ‘way to go’. I am really surprised by this response. I think perhaps this person should have taken a break instead of serving customers, and returned to the counter when she was feeling better. It wasn’t my best day either, but I was polite and I still tipped. There are a lot of options in Park Slope. This one is mediocre, unremarkable and unprofessional. Give it a miss.

Huge fan of this place — go every weekend for my breakfast and coffee. Friendly staff and fresh food. Bagels are delicious. They finally got a new POS system and take CC($ 5 minimum) as of 1÷8÷16

Owner is unbelievably rude. Was reading a book after I finished my meal, and she told me I couldn’t sit there any longer because«other customers needed the table.»(Nobody was waiting to sit down). Will never come back! If you don’t have enough tables, get more? In response to your response: I don’t appreciate you claiming I embellished a fact. There was not a soul waiting, and I can understand how you might need to blame this on a customer to clean up your reviews– but what a manipulative way of doing so.

This review is for Janice,(one of?) the cake bakers @ Naidre’s. We enlisted Janice to bake a subway train birthday cake for our son’s third birthday party and not only was it SUPER delicious and HUGE, it was awesome and looked just like a subway train! We decided to go with the«3» train and corresponding mini cupcakes and everything was perfect. Janice was super professional, easy to communicate with, and everything from the first phone call to meeting her live when she dropped off the cake was as seamless as can be. She was willing to work with our budget and gave me ideas of what to include or what not to include to fit budget constraints. The only thing I would recommend is adjusting pricing and sizing. The cake we ended up with could have literally fed 30 – 40 people it was so large(and we had additional cupcakes)! We were eating cake, happily, for days, but I would have paid less money for a smaller cake — and I would have paid more for a cake this size if I were feeding more people. Amazing cake and service — will definitely call Janice again! Thank you!

I like it. Vegan and vegetarian wraps are great for breakfast. They have meat, too. Wide selection of items to order. I wish I could make it more of a regular spot, but the wraps are a little too expensive to do that($ 8 or $ 9) This is more of a weekend spot when you’re fed up paying exorbitant prices at area restaurants. Come here to grab a quick bite before beginning your day. It’s a bit tight inside so you can’t hang around for too, too long without awkwardly holding up a table for a pregnant senior citizen, but alas, keep it movin’ sir, life is too short to rewrite your screenplay for a 6th time. Counter service. Cash only.

This place is a hidden gem! My coworker and I were hungry and we had to stop at this cute Brooklyn spot. It’s a great bakery and café and I would love to come back again. The food is fresh and they have a lot of tasty selections on their menu. I had an Alamo Wrap and it was delicious! Naidre’s has a huge selection of gluten free baked goods and food available. The only downside to this café is that they only accept cash and there isn’t a restroom for customers to use.

Unmistakable stench of mold was so powerful it couldn’t be overpowered by brewing coffee, but a great PB&J cookie once they remembered(i.e., once I asked twice) to give it to me after I paid.

After I went to three different bagel restaurants found Naidre’s by accident. I ordered four different kind of breakfast bagels to go, and they were a total hit. Cashier was very friendly and helpful with menu. I only give Naidre’s four stars ’cause does not take CC, but I give five **** to their delicious food. Thank you

I always get this anti-middle-aged-professional-male vibe when I’m there,(I’m in that demographic)… And some of the workers can be tremendously, frustratingly inefficient… But I’m addicted to their presidente breakfast burritos, so keep coming back and give them 4-stars.

I’m visiting Brooklyn for the weekend and I needed to find a spot to escape the cold weather and stumbled upon this café. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting, they have a killer menu of pastries(with vegan and gluten free options) and they have amazing hot cocoa. Definitely need to stop by!

Wow… what a little gem. I’m pretty loyal to my food places… I always go to breakfast at the place next door but when they were all full one day I wandered into Naidre’s for some chow. Glad I did. Had literally THEBEST chicken wrap I’ve ever had. The seating arrangements kinda small, but that’s standard in a lot of places. Food was amazing, that’s all that matters to me.

Malinda and I stumbled in to Naidre’s on a whim. We had met in Park Slope without a plan and decided to go in to the closest vegan joint we cold find. We ordered an almond milk americano a gluten free Rubin and a sweet potato burrito. None of these were fancy. I don’t think food needs to be over thought to be amazing. In fact the simplicity of a recipe allows for the execution of the recipe to shine. Nadire’s shined fo sho! The food was fresh and well prepared. No sauce dripping out of my burrito or Malinda’s Rubin. Thank you I don’t need the extra oil. At the same time there was plenty of flavor. Our server was polite and on point. Now, a few reviews make mention of the cramped seating area. Come on guys you walk in to a place like Naidre’s and you can see its small right away. You either enjoy the cozy or you don’t. I like the cozy… I always do. It was just me and Malinda and another couple enjoying a late afternoon meal. It was lovely. Thanks Naidre and the rest of your staff, Michael Oberther

Naidre’s fills a void in Park Slope’s omni w/vegan options brunch scene. I really love their vegan carrot cake– it’s some of the best I’ve had. I love that they make a genuine effort to be vegan friendly, but unfortunately the majority of them are seriously lacking in flavor(the tempeh sandwich and the tofu scramble). Bonus points for being gay friendly– there are very few queer businesses in the neighborhood, much less ones that have been around for over a decade.

What a lovely bakery. On my way to the station I always peek into this place, but its normally too busy for me. i do not like queuing. But yesterday I got lucky. Only two people in front of me. I only got a iced coffee but the display of baked goods will have me coming back. the staff is super nice and the prices are very affordable. they also have a bench in front of the shop, so yu can sit there and whatch the world go by.

I love that this place is gluten free and vegan friendly. The staff is nice and the ambience is relaxing. BUT, I came in for a salad today, to-go, took it to work and found that it was a bunch of rotting mesclun greens mixed in. No way would I eat this rot! I had some add ons, like avocado and tempeh, so I had a little snack, but I was so grossed out by the greens. I would have brought the salad back after my work, but I didn’t get done until after they close, which is 8 pm. I will be trying to call them tomorrow and hope for a refund and an apology. Feels like I wasted my money today. Sad.

I’ve been here couple times and they always make me annoyed. Coffee is ok, but not to remember(I can definitely get better coffee in the others coffee places around the corner.) The bakery options seem tasty, but the non-vegan one are buttery and heavy. It’s CASHONLY and they seem pretty upset if you don’t have them with you. Come on’ chill down, and prepare good food options also for all-food-eating-customers!

$ 10.65 for a burrito that was small and not very good at all. not sure why they are skimping so much. Very disappointed, slow cooked beans not from a can does not justify the price vs. size of this burrito. The fact is that it didn’t taste great either.

Let’s cut to the chase here. There’s a plethora of cute coffee shops in Park Slope and Naidre’s is not an exception. Yes, it’s right across the street from Café Grumpy’s but I try not to blindly follow the hype behind the Grumpy name. Maybe it’s the little rebel in me or maybe it’s because my taste palates is that much more developed(probably not haha). First of all, there’s more seating at Naidre’s. Granted, they only have four tables for two in the front, it’s way more than that of Grumpy’s. Also, they have already brewed iced green and black tea for those freaks who like to drink cold beverages in the dead of winter aka me. It’s important for me to not have to wait for my ice teas to brew in the mornings, especially if I’m in a hurry to catch train out to work. They also squeeze their own orange juice so if you get to Naidre’s early enough, you’ll find a big bag of orange peels on the sidewalk! Naidre’s also has an extended menu of breakfast items that cannot compare to the short list of baked goods that the Grumpy’s across the street has to offer. Even though they’re not a bagel shop, their bagels are amazing– my go-to favorite is their pumpernickel bagel with fried egg and cheese. Their oatmeal comes fully loaded with slices of bananas and strawberries. And if you prefer having something sweeter for breakfast, they have croissants and muffins and tarts. Some of the items are still in the cooking tray, so you know that most if not all of their goods have been made on premises. I haven’t had the opportunity to their their lunch sandwiches, but I can’t imagine it to be anything short of delicious. If you dine in, you do not have to wait awkwardly by the food station to pick up your order, because the staff will kindly bring it over to you with eating utensils and napkins. It adds just the sweetest touch of amicability and hospitality. I have yet to see people hogging tables with laptops but I can see it happening. However, there isn’t a bathroom so be wary of your caffeinated beverages! PS– Cash only!
