It’s a small and cute coffee shop that serves amazing drinks and foods. The baristas are super friendly and always put a smile on my face :) The menu is fill with tons of drinks, unfortunately I haven’t try all of them but i’m sure they’re great! My last visit to Espresso 77, I got The Honeybee Latte with honey and vanilla, absolutely in love with it. It’s a great place to get some homework done because its pretty quiet.

I walked in this morning and purchased a Chai Latte! I must say, if you enjoy a chai latte that is sweet then this place is for you! Their chai latte is heavenly, not to mention I am an avid reader! So what could be better than starting off the day with a deliciously warm cup of a Chai Latte and a good book!

I love all of their flavored lattes. I’ve never been a real coffee drinker and their coffee makes me want to come back! And while I am so happy for the owners success I do miss seeing them at the shop:)

CAFFEINEYAY!!! Alice is a beautiful friendly barista who always puts a smile on your face. the other employees are very happy and content and you get the feeling that they are crafting you a work of art. the place may be small but it has a great big heart. just be aware that when school lets out it can get a bit hilarious when you listen to the banter of the younger kids getting the daily dose of sugar from the nom nom yummy bakery snacks pppssssss sssssshhhhhhhh… they have killer panini sandwiches too. My family loves 77!!!

Alice is the BEST barista you can have. She always knows my order and always has a smile on her face. Whether it’s rain or a blizzard, they’re always open and welcome! Delicious drinks– my fav The Honey Bee, The Chocolate Kiss, they’re all great!

Officially the best coffee shop in Park Slope! It’s tiny but the coffee is always superb. And just as importantly, the lady who makes it is the friendliest, loveliest barista I’ve met in New York City. She always remembers my order when I go in there and she always has cool indie rock music playing in the background. Unlike staff at some other coffee joints in 7th Ave which shall remain nameless, she seems to realize that being nice to people and making them feel welcome is half the battle. No bullshit hipster attitude here – just good old fashioned service – and good coffee.

Came in around 1 something in the afternoon with intentions of grabbing a quick chai tea latte with a pastry. Upon seeing the hot apple cider chai, I couldn’t resist. So I got that along with a pumpkin loaf slice. That Apple cider chai has changed my life for the better. My tongue still hurts from sipping it with the utmost delight but I don’t even care. Priced are average café price, I’d say. $ 2.75 for a bagel with cream cheese, $ 3.50 for a small latte, etc. The cashier was helpful with recommendations as well as polite. As far as seating there are 2 – 4 singular window seats and enough space for 3 – 4 groups of two to sit at the tables. It’s a pretty small place.

So I’ve only ever had iced lattes here, but I tried the Honeybee and the Maple Spice Latte and they are both AMAZING. They are my new go-to coffee place on my way to work. The shop is very cute but small, so it wouldn’t be great if I was looking to go hang out there, but it’s on the way to the F/G train so I always take to go. My one complaint every time I go in the barista seems to be on the phone, I don’t really know if I just have bad timing or if the employees are always on the phone, but it’s not the end of the world. They still get my order right, so it’s not a huge deal.

Very impressed. Stopped here for a latte and left wondering why I haven’t been here sooner. On a whim I had the coconut kiss. Damn, this thing was good. Perfect balance of coconut flavor which was not overpowering, and coffee. Often when ordering drinks like this whatever flavoring they put in teams up with the sugar to drown out the coffee taste. This was not the case here, well crafted. This is a small café with a great vibe and a must visit if you in the market for a date spot. I didn’t have any food but I believe they do offer some small meals. Check this place out.

So glad I found this place before the winter cold sets in! Their coconut kiss drink is amazing and like nothing I’ve ever tasted. It’s a coffee drink with hints of mocha and coconut. Their chai latte was spot on too. Fast service from a friendly server in a warm and inviting café.

Espresso 77 in Brooklyn has fantastic coffee and great service. The food is also great – don’t miss the salads and hummus plate. Everything is fresh!

I usually don’t really care for lattes, let alone flavored lattes, but the range of options at Espresso 77 was so interesting I decided to buck my own personal policy. So far, I’ve tried the Café L’orange and their maple latte. The café l’orange is a blend of orange and almond flavor and while it was good, the flavor dissipated as I got further and further down in the latte– presumably I figure because they need to use more syrup? However, the maple latte was awesome and deliciously mapley throughout. I know there’s some other spots in Brooklyn with some really expensive maple lattes and but this was the same price as their other flavored drinks and I thought it was great!

Love the cold brewed iced coffee and the seasonal pumpkin latte. I asked for the pumpkin latte not to be too sweet and it was just right. The barista even made the milk look kinda like a pumpkin on the top. It’s a small space but thoughtfully laid out. I like the Balthazar croissants too.

Cute little space with seating, upbeat music, and a friendly owner! The menu has a full range of espresso drinks, coldbrew coffee(my fave!) and a bunch of seasonal drinks– think pumpkin, maple, etc. There’s also sandwiches, salad, breakfast items on the menu. My first stop in here, I opted for a coffee and veggie breakfast wrap, and both were so much better than I’d hoped for! The wrap had egg, cheese, onions, peppers, and greens in it, and was served with greens on the side. Flavorful but not greasy– I can feel good about this! Conveniently located across from my laundromat, it’s going to be hard to resist the temptation to stop in for a treat whenever I do my laundry!

I miss DeLuxe, but 77 is just as great! Quaint 11-seater coffee shop. Try the New Orleans style cold brew. It’s a bit on the expensive side for an iced coffee, but the taste is out of this world! Will return for a pastry or snack when I want to cheat on my diet. Pro-tip: the barista has a heavy hand with the milk, no matter what you say. So speak up, or else you’ll be drinking pure milk. ;)

Can’t stop thinking about the iced honeybee latte that I had last week. The flavor is truly unique, not clawlingly sweet but rather subtle with just the right amount of honey, milk, and of course coffee. New Orleans brew is also delicious. Haven’t sat to order food yet, but croissant was flaky and buttery. Croissant donuts are available on the weekends, but I can’t say the maple one I had was any good. However, the cardamom pistachio bread is delicious! I see this being my go-to coffee shop from now on.

Apparently this place has been here for 6 weeks? I need to get to 7th ave more often. Anyway, what a pleasant surprise! It’s a really small shop, but it’s quiet and has a nice vintage vibe. I could see myself getting some work done there(there are a couple well-placed outlets). Nonfat latte: great! The barista even let me watch her make the milk art(apparently it’s all about getting the texture of the milk just right). Really bold flavor but really no bitterness or aftertaste like some other places. A friend mentioned that the espresso machine they use is really good. Maybe that’s the key. Black coffee: fine. I just had a sip of my friend’s but it was just fine. I preferred the espresso. Whole wheat banana bread: not bad! I mean it’s whole wheat and banana bread so don’t expect it to be as decadent as a red velvet cupcake. But it was really great with our coffee. They have a lot of other pastries, sandwiches, salads, and smoothies(of which we had a sample and really enjoyed it) on their menu. I’m looking forward to coming back and checking out the rest! Oh and the staff was super friendly and nice!

Although DeLuxe still holds a dear space in my heart, I think Espresso 77 is onto something good here. They’ve been open less than a week but already have an impressive menu and a broad range of beverages to satisfy caffeine junkies(both coffee and tea menus are robust!). I also noticed they are offering some interesting specialty coffee drinks featuring infusions like honey, which I’ll have to try next time. While I came here just for a plain cold brew, I did see a beautiful plate of French toast being served to a couple of gents seated in the corner, so I’ll definitely swing by for a casual breakfast sometime soon. Some touches from DeLuxe are still around(like the original no smoking signage), but overall it seems like they are trying to branch out from their predecessor. The woman helping me today was enthusiastic and sweet, so I hope that energy persists! 4.5 stars, –half a star just cuz I prefer my cold brew a little more intense, but the average joe will love it.
