King’s Food

This place is a standard Brooklyn Chinese restaurant. Their food is decent, prices are good and the owners are friendly. As long as you’re aware that you aren’t on the Upper West Side you won’t be disappointed.

cmon man, 1 star hood Chinese jump off? What did you expect? Anyway, its really not great– but its a great name!!!

A disastrous Chinese takeout place that shows that even though the menus may always be the same, the quality of the food is not.
A crumbling restaurant in the middle of a gentrifying neighborhood, this place seems to attract the worst of the area. Crack heads, toothless beggars and feuding couples gather in a dimly lit foyer ordering space, shouting request multiple times before they are acknowledged. There are no seats to endure the potentially half-​hour wait.
The food is almost unimaginably bad: covered in layers of grease and slime, the meat appears to have aged out on the counter for a good day or two before hitting the deep fryer. The vegetables might have undergone a number of defrosting and refreezing cycles before suffering the same fate.
We moved to New York to escape this junk. Do not visit.
