This place is full of patos. It’s fun and they have booze for sale! Stop trolling me for a longer review, Unilocal

Loving the vibe here! cute décor, yellow duckies everywhere, inexpensive drinks, delicious cocktails and good music. Happy hour deals are a plenty! They even have nintendo games on the corner. It’s a lil hipster ish but I’m not complaining. Dog friendly! The last time we were here there was a group with cute pup on their lap, lounging and sipping. Now that is a perfect way to spend the afternoon. What else could you ask for?

Came here on a Saturday night for an informal engagement party for some friends. We were able to take advantage of their happy hour(buy one get one beers or discounted mixed drinks). They had an ample selection of beers, but the mixed drinks we got were very good and reasonably priced. The bar tenders were super friendly and knowledgeable of their products. The only set back is they do not have a kitchen, they do however permit you to bring in outside food.

I love DuckDuck and it’s chill but festive vibe. It’s surprisingly spacious, which is unusual for a bar in NYC, and the atmosphere and décor is relaxed but fun. One section of the bar appears to be seating and booths made from church pews. In another corner, there are comfortable couches for lounging. Another area is set up for darts, and don’t forget that their sparkly Christmas tree is up and spreading holiday cheer… along with hot toddies and hot rum apple cider. Highly recommend!

Nice easy going bar that gets crowded, but not too crowded, and has some pretty killer drink specials. Good selection of beers on tap and you can play darts for free, as long as you leave your ID with the bartender. Pretty sweet deal, especially when there isn’t a line waiting to play. It’s cash only, which is the only bummer, but definitely a great bar in a hidden area of East Williamsburg/Bushwick that you should check out.

Duckduck is a great bar for hanging out with a bunch of friends. Its spacious and the several times I’ve been there it has never been too crowded, loud or obnoxious. The crowd is the east williamsburg — bushwick variety; young twenty-thirty something t-shirt/flannel types. Bartenders are pleasant and efficient. Happy hour is buy one get one free draft narrangansetts and something something off other drafts and wells. There is a partial set of stairs that would lead to the roof if complete but i think the intention is for it not to be. There are tables bolted to the floor and wooden benches along the wall. Some old beatup sofas line the glass foldable outside facing wall(which they sometimes open on nicer days/nights). Two unisex bathrooms on the opposite end of the bar, a little grunge but not disgusting. Partner neighboring tattoo parlour«Goose» closed. Great, low-key neighborhood bar!

Cool little bar hidden away in Williamsburg. Great décor where you find yourself spotting various kitsch randomly placed ducks around the bar. Relaxed atmosphere, well stocked bar and good tunes make this hipster bar a great spot to catch up with friends and try some local Brooklyn brews.

Very easy going place. Nothing pretenses, nothing super cool but that’s what makes it even better! Don’t ask girls for cocktails, guys make them better.

No. I went with two also white friends who also look 25−35ish and we were not IDed. A few older Mexican guys came in(40+), were IDed, and turned away because not all of them had ID. By two employees that double teamed the situation. That was clearly racist, so me, my fiends, and the Mexican guys went to The Graham Bar, which is infinitely better, and closed them out. I came to the bar years ago when I lived in the neighborhood, pretty much because it was the only show in town. No reason to go now. And after this experience I spoke to a friend who used to work there, and they said it goes beyond patrons, but extends to disrespecting pretty much any working class Latino, including staff. Not OK. Do not drink here.

Nice little dive. Cozy, friendly vibe. Good lighting. Dart board! Also, the tattoo shop next door is called Goose — definitely a bonus. I’d recommend this bar.

Came here on a date/hang-out session with some people I met on the internet. Overall, it was really nice and not vacant at 1AM on a Monday. Someone ordered me a jalapeño margarita because, «Mexicans love spicy shit». I wanted to disagree because I felt mildly offended, but the margarita was super delicious. The bar has a warm ambient glow because of all these cute little hanging lights, which is sort of my jam. My friend threw up on the floor next to our table and also in the bathroom. Everyone was very chill about this – probably because we found a mop behind the bar and cleaned it up ourselves. I would definitely return :)

When a friend’s house party started to die down last Saturday night, all of us decided to walk a few blocks over to duckduck. I wouldn’t call this place a dive, but the beer/shot combos are a pretty great deal for sure. At 2am, the dance party was still going strong! We enjoyed the DJ, but it was so packed there was barely any room to dance. There’s a good vibe, though, and you’ll find strangers making out in almost every dark corner. My only complaint is that it’s cash-only but there’s an ATM in the back, so no biggie.

A darling little hipster-y bar with a fun vibe and GREAT music. Only thing I dislike is they are cash-only, but they have an ATM there so I can’t get all worked up about it or anything. It doesn’t seem like the kind of place people would dance, but ITIS. They have solid dj’s, reasonable prices and a fun mixture of people.

I’ve gone back since(not on a Saturday night) and I should’ve mentioned before, this is actually a really chill place on weeknights. Great place to catch up with friends or something as it’s not busy. I just hope Saturdays will get a bit better in the future.

This«One» star may seem dramatic, but guys, hear me out. duckduck is solid on a weekday. You can sit down and drink a moderately priced beer. Good, cool, nothing to rave about. Weekends — particularly Saturday nights — used to be great. Like, «Five» stars great. You could roll up at midnight and walk into a guaranteed dance party. Dr. Dre, Outkast … the usual. Now I feel compelled to write about how terrible duckduck has become. Let’s begin: Can we all agree that lazers and horn noises are awful? Can we? My most recent trip(I live pretty close, so I still hold out hope that it won’t suck when I go) comprised of a DJ who wouldn’t take requests, thought that deep-cuts of Ludacris(or really just any Ludacris) would get people dancing, and insisted on layering lazers and horns over every song. And most of the songs sucked, so just imagine listening to shitty songs distorted to even further depths of awful. It just hasn’t been fun recently, not worth it. People don’t dance to crap music, and that’s exactly what has been going on. Bring back the better duckduck.

There’s a tattoo parlor to the right of duckduck named Goose. The décor is divey, but comfortable. We had a group of five, and had a couch, loveseat and two chairs to ourselves, with a coffee table in the middle. It was like having drinks in a living room, but we were in a bar. There was a spiral staircase coming down from the ceiling but it was cut off about 7 feet above the floor. Not sure where it leads. There was a dart board. There was a small dog sitting in a bar stool named«Biggie». The beer list was excellent. I like this place.

After coming here a few times– all with different types of groups of friends, I must give it a standard thumbs up. The first time I went, I was a little drunk, and really enjoyed myself. One thing being a New Yorker who was taught how to operate drunk in a bar, when you need to go home, don’t take another shot. Just ask your bartender to call you a cab home. When I did this, the bartender said she would call me a cab. I thanked her, and told her I would wait for her to come back and let me know the cab was on its way. I waited. And waited… And fucking waited. I even waited away from my friends who were at a table in the back. 10 minutes later I asked the bartender(who was shutting down the bar) if she called a cab. When you’re a little drunk, things get blurry, but unfortunately this situation sobered me up. The bartender said she called and they said three minutes. When I asked her why she didn’t let me know a cab was called, she said it wasn’t her«job,» and that I should have waited outside. «Ok. I find it odd you wouldn’t follow up with me. Can you call it again?» «No.» Ok– thank you for calling me a cab and not letting me know it actually happened because I was waiting for you to let me know and I don’t want to bother you because you were rude to my friends and I earlier when we thanked you for serving us!!! Having just gotten off a shift at my restaurant, I asked to see a manager because I wanted him to know the situation. Of course– total jerk. At this point I was actually beyond sober because when people who serve are fucking rude and insipid to other industry professionals, I want to call the authorities immediately. He defended her, saying she was their best bartender ever, and told me no one gets called a cab at his bar. He insulted me after I told him where I was going, calling me a typical privileged Williamsburg snob. After that, I explained to him that I have been living in Williamsburg for 10 years and I was here before everyone ruined it and that he was being a child. He told me to Unilocal him and give them a one star because that’s what my kind of people do. I left the bar and vowed to never come back again. Months later, I came back with different friends and enjoyed myself. The bartenders were different, and I don’t remember what I drank and I made it home great and had a nice time. I went back a week later with different friends and-again– different bartenders, and I had a nice time. I’m not giving you a one star, you asshole owner. I’m giving you three. Yeah, I Unilocaled you, but only after I had a couple positive experiences. I hope you continue to have happy drinkers at your bar, professional and jovial bartenders, and for you to wash your rotten mouth out with bar soap. #meanpeoplesuck

Stopped by duckduck to have a few drinks and it totally reminded me of some of my neighborhood bars here in LA. Really cool ambiance; I couldn’t help but stare at the random staircase that started midair and led to… nothing? Gorgeous brick walls, of course. The bartenders are friendly and the crowd was a good mix of wild and calm. DJ played an awesome mix of 90’s hiphop(fave) and top 40’s etc. I would probably be a regular if I lived in NYC.
