The service is okay… Usually there is American music and quite atmosphere. I did my birthday there which was okay :) I satisfied as a customer. Food is okAy.

I came in for the take out special. It was only $ 3.75. You basically get what u pay for. The food isn’t very flavorful. And isn’t cooked enough for my liking. But ehhhh it was convienant and cheap. Wont be returning ever again. Oh and the hostess was in such a rush and the place was empty. I hate that. Which is also why I give this place 1 star.

While only staying in New York for a few days, we made the most of all the sights we could. This of course meant eating out three to four times a day and trying all different types of food when possible. My fiancé’s family told us about King’s Buffet and if we were inclined to meet them in the Brooklyn area, but would be a fun place to try. I wish in retrospect I would have known just how close to Coney Island we were, I would have stopped by. Nevertheless, King’s Buffet was nice. A good spread for the right price and we were able to see family that I had never met before. Great people and good eats, what more could I ask for.

We went yesterday to try this place out, as we heard that the prices for lunch and dinner was LOWER than other buffets we stopped at… had a nice selection of food and was as good as the HIGHER priced buffet places, we went to… the staff was very friendly… we also noticed that the ice cream was packed in a small cup,(no messy machine to deal with), they had vanilla, chocolate & strawberry ice cream,…you can take as many to eat as you want,…we WILL be dropping by here more often… as its close by… and well worth the trip… for this they get he 5 star rating they deserve…

Lunch today… Selection is very limited with small quantities in each station. Food was not very good at all. I know it’s Brooklyn but parking is limited to street parking. Had to park three blocks away. Would really like to give 0 stars but since 1 is a must I can say, as a positive, the bathroom was pretty clean. Don’t expect to be back here again

I am A customer and the girl at the front knows me. I think it’s disgusting what happened before. I had left my doc office and I’m in a sling. I needed to use the rest room. I went into kings and I asked to use the rest room. It’s not like I’m stranger out of no were. They no me a man came to the front and told me I can’t use the rest rooms they were all shut down. And I said what happen if some one came to eat. He said then I’ll open them. To me I think it’s disgusting you don’t treat customers like that. Now I don’t to ever want to go back and eat there again. Places that can’t treat customers With respect needed to close there doors for good. I like going into places that have respect for people .that was rude what that man said. If u want to stay in Business you. Need to be a people person. And they are also over priced. And there food is ok nothing big deal. I seen better in Staten Island and Cheeper.

I gave 4 stars because they have huge variety of food more than any other buffets than I know and large place. Quality of food is average that is why I took out one star.

I don’t expect very much from buffets, I’ve only been to a couple really good ones… the majority are like this one, with slight fluctuations in quality. Food quality was OK… not terrible, not great. Some stuff I didn’t even want to touch — the salad was just a bunch of soggy leaves floating in water, no thanks. The mackerel was pretty disgusting. Nothing really stood out as great but what I actually really liked about this place was the amount of seafood/fish options. Definitely pescetarian friendly — had stuff I had not seen elsewhere. I’d come back here.

I have been here with my family a few times mostly on weekends, the food was good. Have no complaints really. Going again for my birthday in a few weeks.

Food was okay. The wait staff was prompt clearing plates. The manager was extreme rude and uncivilized. I made mistake adding wrong amount on my bill and signed it. She came out waving the credit card slip yelling«who sign this? You should go back to school» I took it as a joke giving her some benefits of doubt. As I was fixing the bill, she kept on yapping that I should go back to school, 2 more times!!! That prompted some derogative feeling as she was loud and even a customer next to me said«you are so meam». I simply asked her if she had to handle how she just handled the situation of a simple mistake? I am a paying customer and was she aware of that? Obviously not. After all I think she is the one who needs to go back to school to polish on her ‘people skill’.

Not good at all. The quality of the food was pretty bad. Lunch was $ 7.99 and there weren’t alot of options. Will never go back!

We were in the party room here where the manager gave us a great deal because we’re regulars and had over twenty people. I had over thirty raw clams, longans, and pineapples. About a dozen sushi rolls and some oysters and sesame chicken. Went back about five times as we hung out for over three hours singing ridiculously off-key karaōke at high volume. All that for likely under fifteen bucks per person. Not sure the exact price since my host paid. Not sure where else we could get such a great deal. We drive all the way from Queens to get here. Street parking is plentiful on the weekends. We parked three cars right in front of the door. The party room is great for baby showers, birthday parties, or other events as you can hold thirty people comfortably and all your friends can walk around and chat with each other as they feast. This is great value and that’s why we don’t mind traveling here.

this is like the ULTRA cheap buffet. seriously, but also dont expect quality, nor variety. the dishes are standard buffet food. nothing too exceptional but good enough for a cheap dinner that’s unlimited. the service here is generally pretty good but the cleanliness is not always there. i’ve defnitely had better but the price goes along with it too so compare apples to apples. this place is a 3 star buffet.

This is probably my least favorite Chinese Buffet! The food just tastes cheap and is always cold! The service is rude too! Not a good place to go!

Shabby service. Acquisitive management. Mediocre food. The food here is nothing special. Typical Chinese-american style buffet. Nothing out of the ordinary: fried rice, mashed potatoes, lo mein, etc. One thing that threw me off was their«wasteful food» policy, where if you somehow manage to not finish their«unbelievable» food, they charge you for the food you throw away. My experience was all together unpleasant.

I’ve been to a few buffets and I have to say that I was impressed with this place. It’s your standard Chinese/American Food Buffet with a wide smattering of options. The part I was impressed with was the quality of the food and two surprising choices on the menu. The first thing I noticed was the Lo Mein and the Dumplings. At most buffets I’ve been too the Lo Mein is usually very soggy and everything in it is drenched in the sauce. Their Lo Mein wasn’t soggy at all and looked surprisingly fresh, the noodles actually had texture. The next thing I noticed was the quality of their dumplings. In particular I was impressed with the Fried Chicken Dumplings and the Steamed Shrimp Dumplings. They weren’t over or under done, they weren’t soggy, and they tasted pretty damned good. The Mashed Potatoes is something else I want to call attention too, theirs was actually seasoned. Can you believe that?! Usually I find pretty bland mashed potatoes or over-salted ones. Quite the opposite, the mash taters were flavored really nice and werent actually salty, this especially worked in their favor because… THEYHADFRESHROASTBEEFANDLAMB. Holy crap, LAMB?! I’m wondering if this was a fluke because we went on Valentines Day. Perfectly cooked and juicy it went perfect with the mashed potatoes. They only had very minor Sushi choices so don’t go here for that. The Dessert table had more options then other places I’ve been too. They had chocolate and coconut macaroons and something that looked like cheesecake. The Cheescake looked like something that was defrosted and was pretty dry but frankly I’ll give them a B+ for effort. The cake can be saved by spooning some Ice Cream on it. Which brings me to Ice Cream. They have a pretty interesting way of serving it. Instead of just giving you bowls and access to the ice cream machine they have a fridge with pre-packaged servings. I think this is a great idea! It reduces waste of food and if you want more you can always get it. They are served in these plastic condiment cups and its the perfect size. All in all I can’t say many bad things about this place, except maybe I suspect they water down their soda. The Sprite felt watered down but the Coke was ok(I’m tempted to drop them a star for not serving Pepsi but I’ll digress), It’s possible I just got mine when the syrup was running low but who knows. Anyway, I recommend this buffet for over other options in South Brooklyn. It’s multiple factors better then J&K Buffet on Flatlands and It’s a good change of pace if you’re bored of Seaport Buffet on Emmons Ave. So, without further adue I give Kings Buffet my official BURP of approval. Addendum: My and my friend DID attend on V-Day so it’s possible the quality of the food was increased as a result, you’ll have to judge for yourself.
