JEI Learning Center Gravesend

My little sister has been going here since it opened up a few years ago. She has enrolled in the summer school, writing classes and also test prep. Although she often excels in math, her English is rather poor. It’s good to finally see some improvement in her English after taking the writing class. Before enrolling in the class, she would struggle reading every few words in a sentence, but now she can read through everything without a problem. She started out as a level 2 for ELA and JEI was able to bring her score up to a high 3/​low 4. I really appreciate how much the teachers here show a genuine concern for the student’s well-​being and performance. My sister actually enjoys going to school everyday in the summer, which is pretty rare! I love what this center has done for her and I highly recommend this to others.

My son is in the JEI Summer Program for two weeks now, I must say he’s excited to go to JEI Summer Program every morning! I’m beyond delighted, in just two weeks, after learning his JEI lessons he aced his first test on the topic he needed to improve on. Not only this summer program keeps my sons reading, writing, and math skills fresh. His teachers engage him in activities that frost critical thinking skills and encourage teamwork through group projects and presentations. The teachers knows exactly what my son needed and they do it with such care and patience. I totally recommend this place.

My daughter loves this JEI program! She has made a big improvement in learning. Last year she was getting B and C’s in math after using the tutoring program she was able to pull her grades up to an A. She has always had difficulty grasping math. After attending the JEI program she now has confidence in math and understands the concept. Not only does she learn at JEI she made so many new friends. The staff and teachers are really helpful and welcoming. I’m really happy I found this program!

Don’t even bother sending your child there.
This is the most unorganized and poorly managed place. It’s expensive and there are absolutely no certified teacher despised what the owner said.
My kids were here for after school and kids are running around and hitting each other.
My kids grade suffered and they regressed. I would never send them there ever again!!!
Dont waste your time and money at this center!
