Last fall the Imperial Bikers hosted a free outdoor movie with drinks, refreshments. The people all seemed to know each other except me, but were really nice and welcoming. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the annual block party/​bike blessing. (But somehow almost always miss the date since there are never any flyers or anything, but over 1,000 bikers and friends just know when it is!) Kind of embarrassed to show up with my «baby bike» ie, an electric scooter, lol, but they’re pretty nice and people have given great tips on safety and buying my first bike (real bike that is)!
