I was faced with an emergency surgery for retinal detachment and I have to say that both Dr Harooni and all of the staff working in the Brooklyn Eye Surgery Center were the utmost of professionals. Everyone treated me with kindness, courtesy and professionalism, despite the fact that my surgery prolonged their day by several hours. They are always available to answer your questions, no matter how trite they may be. They do a great job of allaying any and all of your fears and concerns. They speak to you with true caring and concern.

Dr. Feig and Dr. Harooni are superb Doctors. I had detached Retina Surgery. Here is what they told me post-​op, «Call us even for the smallest issue. We would rather have you call in a false alarm than to not call at all. They meant it. These are great Doctors, but even more, they are great people. I do not recommend people lightly and I recommend Drs. Feig and Harooni highly. Very highly.

I’ve had 3 appointments at Harooni & Sheindein in the past 3 weeks, with Dr. Jane Kutsowsky. At the first appointment, I showed up on time and was told she had left due to an emergency. The office had never called me, although they claimed they had. The second appointment went fairly well. At the third appointment, I waited for an hour and 15 minutes, and the OD decided that her new contact fit choice, a change after several years of the same fit elsewhere, wasn’t acceptable, so I have to return again.
I wouldn’t recommend this optometrist. The waiting room was overflowing, the service is minimally adequate, and I felt like they wasted lots of my time.
