I love this place! The frozen yogurt is great and the staff is very friendly. I’m confused by all these negative comments about customer service … Maybe people are expecting a little too much from a self-serve froyo place?

I hate this place but my kids don’t and it’s close so we keep ending up here. It’s very expensive, I don’t think it tastes good, they always have a bunch of empty topping bins like they can’t be bothered to fill them all and the service is poor. Also they don’t carry any type of whipped topping, I presume because it doesn’t weigh much and they won’t get paid for it. Ask for a frequent visit card(you have to ask) and you’ll get a punch for every $ 8 you spend. Get 6 punches and you get a free frozen yogurt, but keep in mind they won’t round up so spend $ 7.66 and you get one punch. I’d would recommend the ice cream spot around the corner that uses much better ingredients or even Baskin Robbins down the street.

I was just turned away at the door and told it was closed… Except the door says you close at 10:30PM and I came over at 9:49PM. Pretty ridiculous that you don’t honor the hours that you advertise. Please honor the signs you post– or give me free froyo. Thank you.

Loved the froyo here. I’ve tried a few different self-serve frozen yogurt places(notably yeh! yogurt, menchie’s, flavaboom) and I just love the taste above all the other ones !! Only thing I have to say is the logo design is very confusing and I didn’t catch the name until I got a business card.

yogurt is really good, self service, very clean pet friendly so if your walking your dog you don’t need to leave it outside. recommend to try it out

Went in the first time for frozen yogurt and the girl behind the counter was on her phone the entire time. She didn’t look at me when I walked to the counter or paid. Gave the situation the benefit of the doubt and sent my kids in while I waited in the car a few weeks later They came out upset. The girl who was working was VERY rude to them and again was talking on her phone the entire time. When they finally paid they stood there waiting and then reached out to grab a spoon and she pushed my son’s hand away and told him, «I will get your spoon.» I had to run so I didn’t go in and confront her. Instead… I am here Unilocaling about it and will NEVER, EVER, EVER go there again. EVER! I drive them to 16 Handles in Williamsburg where they are treated respectfully — even though this is totally out of my way.

Ok so thought I would give them another try because the kids were pestering me, I had a pretty similar experience where the girl taking my money barely looked at me, she didn’t speak to me and had ear phones in. Nah. Im done.

There is a hispanic girl that works there and is the most unprofessional rude person I have ever met in my life!~ I asked for a simple sample of yogurt and she would only give me a tiny bit in a cup and refused to give me a sample of another. When I complained she told me «dont let the door hit you in the ass». I have never been spoken to or treated that way before by any other business and I cannot beleive you would allow employees to speak to or treat customer’s that way. Generic frozen yogurt place with solid frozen yogurt, however staff is rude and they never have sample cups. If you’re going to have weird favors like caramel popcorn you should allow people to taste them.

I love fro-yo so I enjoyed it. My only gripe with all serve yourself places is its easy to get carried away– and carried away I indeed got. 8 dollars and a very full stomach later… but I digress, I do like the place. The ambiance is great and the yogurt and especially the topping selection is extensive. Neat place to check out on a hot day.

This place is good. It’s like if 16 Handles and Flavaboom had a baby. Now I’m depressed that I just made a reference to two yogurt chains. I should go get some yogurt to cheer myself up. Anyway, it’s got similar great flavors and toppings like at 16 Handles, while it has the even brighter, hard-on-the-eyes décor like at Flavaboom. The Egg Nog flavor was a little weird, so I would steer clear of that. Everything else I tried, which I was easily able to sample, was great. Come here if you want a slightly different alternative to the major chains and the nearby 16 Handles. It’s also further away from the hipster and bustle of Bedford, so that’s a nice change of pace too.

Hanana is offering Gimme Coffee now!!! Any one who have had Gimme Coffee should know that they taste amazing. So excited, I can hardly wait to grab one this coming weekend. Most staffs there are paying attention to songs that was playing. When they notice inappropriate lyrics, they will change the song. At least, that’s what a few of the staffs told me.

It’s a clone of 16handles so whatever no points for originality. Staff tends to be aloof and unfriendly. The froyo is alright and it’s usually pretty clean in there.

Oh man let me teeellll you I love this place! Okay yes it’s a little odd because it kind of looks like you’re entering a spaceship from another planet not a froyo joint but hey it’s funky looking and I like that. What else I like? You get to take your own cup, mix and match your own froyo however you like(they have cool flavors like mango, peanut butter, cheesecake, and my favorite tart), and then put in all the add ins your little heart desires alll yourself. Then they just weigh, you pay by the ounce, and voila! And to be honest with you I didn’t think the price was too bad considering I was a little fat the day I tried this place out and filled my largee cup with quite a lot of yumminess and it only came out for 4 and change.

First time in here and definitely not my last! They have PEANUTBUTTER flavor!!! So hard to find a frozen yogurt shop that has it. Great décor, clean, alot of toppings. I pass through here everyday not knowing this little addiction was here. Hanana will be seeing alot of me in the near future.

this place is trouble, for me anyway! don’t get frightened by the space-age design… the frozen yogurt is fantastic! and the«self serve» aspect is perfect for those who can’t seem to make up their minds. you can add as many toppings or flavors as you want… they price it by weight. the prices seem reasonable especially when compared to other places in the neighborhood… average cost is prob 4 – 7 bucks. welcomed addition to the neighborhood!

This is one of those places where the proprietor spent so much money that it actually looks like it belongs to a chain. However, after doing some research, this isn’t a chain(yet). Greenpoint has the Hanana monopoly. I had read about the whole«do it yourself» yogurt craze but was a little skeptical as to how great it could be and how sanitary the whole practice is. My Hanana experience brought me around to endorse the idea. As you walk in you first pass a hand sanitizing station, followed by a cup selection(one size). There are several yogurt flavors available, including non-dairy, non-fat, no sugar added options. Not to mention the machines have the customary«twist» lever too. There are tons of toppings to choose from, sort of grouped into fruit, candy, and nut categories. As the cost is by weight, it’s really your yogurt that makes up most of the price, so you can go wild with the toppings. Visa and Mastercard are accepted(no minimum).

(Also about to sound like a 14 yo girl) but this place is actually SOCOOL!(haha). The non-dairy options(pomegranate and mango sorbets) were AMAZING!!! The toppings were fresh and the ambiance was peaceful and charming. Highly recommend.
