They really need to close that location The hilarious part is the block has so many Jamaican restaurant, I am not sure why people go there. The staff is overly rude(no good morning, thank you, your welcome) They talk amounts themselves very loudly and the food is so salty you cant eat it. That day I was looking for fish cake and got 10 for myself and my coworkers and everyone said the same thing that the food was salty.

I eat at this location ever so often. This is a small store, like most golden Krust establishments, you can’t dine with a big group, only sit Down by yourself and a friend, in such a small setting. Other than that, the lady Marie is always nice and remembers my face. I like businesses that make their customers feel like family and welcomed. I’m more likely to go back for the appreciation. They lock up early though by 9:15 pm the cook packs everything away and may answer questions. I thought it was a one time thing .but it’s something the staff does which is not right for last minute customers. Also, the rest if the staff needs to sharpen thier edges because talking while sharing food is a no no.

The food is GREAT!!! I don’t know what everyone else is talking about. But from the moment I got here there’s been a long constant line… So that MUST mean someone else feels the same way I do!

This franchised establishment has no business being on TripAdvisor or any other review website. Owners/management needs to reiterate the definition of customer service to their workers before they consider asking the public for feedback. The ladies working in the front of the restaurant are a disgrace to the service industry. There are 2 older ladies who are unpleasant and always look unapproachable. Any questions asked about the details of the food on display and they take it personal as if you as a guest aren’t allow to inquire about a product before purchase. The main lady calls herself the supervisor. Majority of the time the line is out the door while the younger ladies on the register discuss personal matters such as partying events. In addition, although the displays are inviting; I find that the food is overpriced at this location. There are plenty of Jamaican restaurants in this neighborhood that are just as good with less hassle & less sassy front of the house employees representing their brand.

Ohhh Golden Krust, what happened to you?! I remember back in the day when your wonderful golden patties were cooked perfectly. You were not burnt, yet not to soft. When I bit into you that perfect crunch and flakiness was ecstasy. Your filling was piping hot and thick. That was then. This is now. You taste old, soggy and your stuffing is barely a centermeter thick! You are burnt on the edges and taste like you were made wit haste. You are still satisfying but not as much as you were years ago! Golden Krust, I will still visit you but not as often as I used to before.

Jerk Chicken Patty! So delicious and crunchy crust on the outside. This location seems to have their patties more stuffed and warm than any other locations in Brooklyn and in the city that I’ve been to. The spice factor was just perfect. The space is small and there is a line at time but the food is great.
