I used to come here every other day last summer, great sandwiches, excellent soups for under $ 3, usually $ 6 – 10 sandwiches. Not too crowded on the weekdays which is nice. Smoothies are made entirely with vegetables. Every so often they change the interior décor, I stopped in yesterday and they have nicer tables, new chairs. Plus — free wifi.

Great eats so far. though only one sandwich in to this spot in the neighborhood… Good atmosphere to read and write as well and friendly helpful relaxed unpretentious service… fairly inexpensive too.

you’re gone, i think, at least that’s what the new outside sign indicates. or maybe you got tired of doing the hippie thing and decided to update your look by becoming the shiny new«lunchbox»? peeped in for a bit today and it looks like some of the same people are behind the counter, but you do have what look to be brand new(or newly painted) chairs. and hey, is that a newly expanded sandwich menu in chalk above the counter? glad you kept the smoothies and the internet. hope you still have veggie cream cheese for my bagels.

Great coffee, great sandwiches, but I think the best part about Forest Natural is how friendly their staff is. That’s what makes it such a neighborhood staple in my mind. It’s a nice start to my day to walk by and grab a coffee there on my way to work.

Great neighborhood coffee and sandwich shop with a super friendly staff. I’m in this place multiple times per week. Honestly, I don’t have anything bad to say about it.

I eat here for lunch every now and again. My wife and I enjoy the veggie sandwich options they have. I am also a big fan of the juice/smoothie menu. I never hang out but there seems to be a steady flow of people using the tables and free wireless. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a non-standard deli/café. It is a little expensive, but the quality does out weigh the cost.

my wonderful boyfriend brought me a vegan sandwich the other day and it was delish… but it was a little skimpy on the substance. for $ 8, i’m looking for a sub overflowing with veggies and tofurkey damnit! the menu is abundant with vegan friendly goodness so i will check it out again… maybe sandwich maker was just having an off day!

I go there for fresh juices, not any other fresh juice store I found around the neighborhood. Long distance runner — my usual. Bunch of stuffs in it. I like it bc it has beets. Yummy. You can ask for your own customized mix of course. Feel so healthy after having one. I always ask to get some pear and they know about it since a lot of people ask but it hasn’t got there yet. Sandwiches are decent which I usually get grill pressed but I wish for a bit bigger portion and better bread, tho. Some healthy gorceries in the store which I could not find in our stores around so that’s good. Working staffs are super-freindly. There are sitting area in the back with internet and a couple of chairs outside you can seat.

Points for the herb cream cheese, super-friendly service, adorable and not ridiculously oversized cupcakes, and good selection of «healthy» snacks and grocery items. Oh, and the grind-your-own coffee. Okay, so lots of points. However, as much as I love the bagels and extras, the sandwiches at this sandwich shop leave something to be desired. There’s nothing special about the ingredients and they’re often out of whatever kind of bread your sandwich is supposed to come on. Creative combinations, but overpriced. Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful to have this place in the neighborhood and it’s a vastly better option than, say, Palace Fried Chicken or any of the bodegas on Manhattan Ave. It’s just that it comes so close to being the Berkeley-esque hippie haven of my dreams and it’s just… not…quite… Ah well. I recommend anyway.

Everything here tastes to order and uses fresh, smart ingredients. The coffee is great and the beers are unique. I seem to go back for the steamed egg breakfast sandwiches, on lovely crusty baguette. Customer service(effieciency, orders getting occasionally misplaced) could sometimes use improvement, but if you have 5 – 10 minutes, it’s absolutely worth stopping in.

dear williamsburg, stop trying to take all the cool things in greenpoint. sorry i saw that this was listed under ‘north williamsburg’ and i disagree! BUT that nothing to do with the greatness of forest natural. decent beverage selection… beer, organic juice, fresh juice, ice tea etc. delicious looking/sandwiches, baked goods and a small(a couple racks) grocery section. the thing i’m digging on most though, is the internet café element. cozy couches and free wireless? i feel like i’m in my own living room!(but with better snacks in the kitchen)

We got Forest Natural for lunch today at work. They are very close to my work, which is nice, and delivery was quick(about 30 minutes). Three of my co-workers got salads and two of us got sandwiches. The salads come in two sizes(small or large) and are very fresh. There are tons of add-ins for the salads too. My co-worker who got a sandwich got the Willow sandwich and said it was great and very fresh. I had to try the Yellowood(nutella, peanut butter, and banana on a baguette!) and I’m so glad I did. It filled me up possibly for the entire rest of the day and was the perfect combination of sweet and salty that I was craving since it’s «that time of the month». Fresh, quick, friendly service with good, original sandwiches and salads. Will have to try their smoothies soon because they sound really good! *They have beer delivery too!* I obviously didn’t use it since I’m at work, but sometime I will from home!

Nice place. A decent little selection of gourmet or natural groceries. I don’t drink coffee, but my husband seemed to enjoy it! My iced tea was tasty and refreshing. Comfy area in the back, too, with Ms. Pacman and a couch. Downside was that it had no AC and it was a very hot day when I went. They had a really big fan but when it’s super hot the fan just isn’t enough.

Yummy healthy sandwiches !!! – and decked out DELIMEAT counter. And good veggie substitutes too. My favorite sandwich(with a pickle) is the«Maple»… turkey, avocado, sprouts, mayo, ciabatta bread. Service is very«won’t you be my neighbor» friendly, and nice, and kinda crunchy. Another reason Brooklyn reminds me of one big college town. Oh ya, also, whoever beats the highest score of Sopranos pin ball gets a free sandwich.

you like sandwiches, right? the delicious kind? ok then! forest natural is conveniently located on my route to and from the subway and i am basically in love with it. everyone who works there is friendly, they have great coffee and juice drinks, you can buy some of your basic healthy and green goods there(yogi teas, seventh generation products, a bottle of kombucha perhaps), and they have a sandwich menu that will blow your miiiiiind. my personal favorite is the«cypress” – roast beef, brie, green apples, avocado, and sprouts with mayo on a grainy baguette. i want to eat it every day for the rest of my life.
