It’s crazy, but this fast food hole-in-the-wall has one of the best slices I’ve eaten in all of NYC.

Dominick’s goes toe-to-toe for THE best slice in the hood and can grapple with the best of them in neighboring areas as well. Living in SP for a number of years, Dominick’s was my go-to spot for slices while walking down 8th ave, and even for delivery pies to my house a few blocks away. Their service is always with a smile whether at the countertop or your doorstep. I never really ventured into their dish selection, but their pizza can rival the best in the city. It’s everything you would expect of NYC slice. If you’re in the area, stop in and have a slice or two. You’ll be happy you did. For the record: I know my pizza. I wouldn’t have spent hundreds of dollars here over the years if it wasn’t as good as I say it is. I actually lived closer to Johnny’s on 5th, and although they make a pretty mean pie also, I always ended up with a Dominick’s pie at my doorstep and in my belly on any given hungry day.

Overall, a solid pizza. Certainly not in the range of a DiFara’s or Spumoni Gardens, but solid. Previously mentioned troubles with delivery seem to have been mended — I’ve ordered twice and they are super timely. The price is also quite moderate. Sunset Park is a bastion of really bad pizza, so having a solid place is an asset.

Extremely slow delivery time but usually worth the wait. The penne vodka has the right flavor and consistency and the portion is huge. Zeppolies are cheap and delicious. Pizza is thin but crispy and cheesy. Wouldn’t recommend chicken francaise

The worst cheese steak I have ever had. The meat tasted like boiled liver, there was no flavor and the cheese was thick and clumpy. The mozzarella sticks were soggy and greasy. We were recommended to try this sorry we did!

Insane delivery time. It took over an hour for our food to come on a Thursday night. We called to check up on our order after an hour and had to wait another 25 minutes for the food to come. We will not order from here again.

The food here is OK. Stick to the pizza rather than the specialty rolls. Prices are reasonable — a decent choice for a quick bite during lunch. There are better pizzeria/lunch options in the area.

This place has been open for a long time. I really like the pizza they serve. The garlic knots were ok.

I give them 3 stars but not because the pizza was bad… It was actually very good… But I must say customer service… Not good… It was my first time ordering from here but not a good first impression rcvd… I had tried calling around 7ish pm & all I kept getting was a busy signal… Therefore I decided to ordered the food online… So much time passed after that, that I then started getting concerned & wandering if my online order was ever rcvd by the pizzeria… I didn’t rcv an email confirmation or a phone call to confirm the order… After trying to call the pizzeria for almost an hour … I finally got through & spoke to someone… At 801pm(almost an hour passed my online order) he tells me about 10 minutes cause my pizza was in the oven… Another 20 minutes passed and still no pizza… From having my kids harassing me for their pizza… I tried calling again & again I got busy signals!!! Finally after so much waiting the delivery showed up… Now for the pizza… We all Enjoyed it!!! If it wasn’t from the bad service … I would of given them 5 stars… Let’s see what happens again when I order from them in the near future… When I am back Visiting my grandparents again & my kids want pizza…

i hardly ever write a review, but i had to for Dominick’s Pizzeria… The sandwiches there are no joke. had the meatball parm and the cheesesteak and its pretty damn amazing… like you know when your eating an amazing meal and your deeply saddened that the more you eat the less food there is left… its like that… good stuff guys…

They have some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust is crispy and there isn’t too much grease. The staff are really friendly and you can tell its fresh because they make it right in front of you. They have a wide variety of pizzas and some other things(mozzarella sticks, zeppoles, garlic knots, heroes, etc.) The price is also very reasonable.

This place could use an a/c I wouldn’t mind sitting in with my sister and her friends there, but besides that the pizza is very good, they are not too greasy and I really love their pepperoni rolls. It isn’t pricy and I always see the same people up in the front

I’ve been coming here ever since I was a kid. By far my favorite pizza joint. No place like good ol’ dominicks. Still run by the same man I remember when I was a kid. Everything is pretty much on point here. You won’t be disappointed!

Best meatball sub in NYC — maybe the entire world?! Have been known to travel across boroughs to get one — which is huge and probably enough to share. For $ 6. Yep. Haven’t tried their slices.

One of the best NY-style plain cheese slices! Perfect thinness to the crust, perfect chew, perfect crunch, prefect distribution of cheese and sweet savory sauce in every bite! The fresh baked ones are much better than the reheated ones though, so try to get a fresh one of you can! I always ask for a free side of pizza sauce to dip my crust in at the end, just like eating breadsticks! Their zeppolis are also great. Everything at the establishment is pretty on par for being a New York style local pizzeria. Satisfying food at a satisfying price! No gimmicks, no cheaping out, nothing fancy.

I wish they had air conditioning but man are their slices great! They always have a great fresh variety of slices and calzones that seem to just all be calling your name. I really don’t mind walking the 10+ blocks I have to walk to this Pizzeria always forget to take a menu, which is good cause I don’t want to get fat) They have some great pizza! The crust is the right always the right amount of crisp and savory, cheese always cheesy and the temp amaze balls. Love them!

I give this place 5 stars only for it’s pizza and not for their lack of air conditioning in the summer or 90’s décor. If you want a nice NYC style slice this place is it. The crust is nice and crispy and their cheese is seriously the best! I’m not sure what kind but it pulls apart perfectly and they are so consistent. Try their spinach rolls if you are into eating healthier. I love how they don’t make the rolls too dough-ey. Of course, they also have zeppoles :)
