This restaurant has well prepared sushi. I will defiantly come back! Highly recommended

It’s just perfect, the best kosher sushi that I ever had. I’m very picky and I eat in very few places but this quality is just more than you can imagine. Fresh fish, great rolls! Number 1! This is the place where I will have sushi from now on… Fantastic…

Best kosher sushi in Brooklyn! Freshest fish and reasonable prices. Vegetable tempura is not greasy, spicy tuna on crispy rice, tuna pizza, and, vegetable fried rice(made upon request, as it’s not on the menu) are must haves that you will absolutely love! Unfortunately they only have five tables inside, so call before you go to make sure a table is available. They also do a take-out and delivery orders.

Best sushi I’ve had in Brooklyn hands down; simply delicious. Aside from the sushi being the tastiest and freshest, their service is second to none. I will definitely be coming back.

I very much enjoy my experiences at Day Five I am a very big sushi lover and its very hard to find top quality sushi. My favorite is the caterpillar roll, my husbands is the tuna pizza they are very accommodating to special dietary needs. Its a small quaint place the atmosphere is very warm with the soft music in the background. My kids could not get enough of their signature French fries. Everything over there is authentic you get the real taste of a true Japanese restaurant. I work in a corporate company and now we order in at least once a week, they deliver, and their presentation is spectacular. If you are looking for the best Sushi in town this is definitely the place to go.

I ordered sushi for delivery from Day 5. We tried to order vegetable dumplings and sweet potato tempura but they had neither. The miso soup did not contain seaweed, tofu or scallions but ramen noodles, string beans, and mushrooms. I did not enjoy the soup which was 5 dollars per soup. However the sushi was quite good and the fish fresh. They gave us spicy mayo and sweet sauce and we didn’t even have to ask. They also did not have Eukura(salmon roe) sushi. Lack of menu items aside, the sushi was very good but also very expensive but that is to be expected with kosher food. My suggestion to Day 5 sushi is to make some of these other foods I said above. I tried the sushi and they got that right. So why not get everything else right. The rolls we ordered were salmon avocado, vegetable, sweet potato, and cucumber avocado. Also I think the name is quite witty as G-d created fish on the 5 day.

You had me at Sweetheart. The sweetheart is an appetizer and at this point the only thing I’ve tried at Day 5. However, based on my experience with this it certainly won’t be the only thing I will try at Day 5. The sweetheart is exactly how it sounds. It’s a layer of tuna, guacamole, tempura flakes, all on a layer of rice. It is then drizzled with spicy mayo(or some heavenly sauce that resembles spicy mayo). It is in the shape of a heart and it makes total sense because just one bite, and you’re in love. I will update this review once I’ve tried their other menu items but if it’s anything like the sweetheart then you’ve got a new regular(and hopefully more to come).

Delicious food and so fresh. Yesterday was my second time ordering here. I love the appetizers, particularly the sushi pizza, it’s a must try. The first time I went the sushi rolls were amazing, yesterday not so much. I think I’ll stick to having a few of their appetizers I suggest to try them all since each one is unique and delicious. Delivery was quick

My coworker and I always order from here during lunch. Sweet potato rolls are AWESOME! He gets different rolls every time and has never had a complaint. The string beans are also extremely extremely good. One of the best sushi places I’ve been to! I wish they would open a location in Queens!

Excellent food and excellent service. Wait staff is courteous and knows their menu’s well. Prices are in line for Kosher Sushi, but add the nice atmosphere and great staff, and it’s definitely a bargain. Try the Tuna Pizza. Yum!

Kosher sushi lovers rejoice! I had to deliver a package in Brooklyn(ugh) but here it was a sunny afternoon and I was hungry! My daughter says go eat sushi… my Unilocal app points me to another sushi but as I am parking I see this little spot. Go on in I was warmly greeted its very cute in here dark wood sturdy tables and chairs with about 16 spots Sushi chef is right there at the counter so you can watch him at his craft my order was taken and brought to me my roll was so good and it was a meal unto itself spicy crunchy tuna(not so spicy is how I order) awesome sushi rice and topped with perfect avocado. heck they even have really good eel sauce. Menu offers all sorts of rolls, salads, bento boxes as well as lunch specials I saw a few take out orders leaving I sure wish I lived closer. as far as Kosher goes this has to be one of the best Sushi places I have ever been to. when I am back around here I will be back to day five. ps there was a bunch of noisy teenage boys I was impressed with how nice staff treated them

Lovely. Quaint. Peaceful & relaxing. The owners have done a great job on this little spot. It’s a fantastic place for lunch, dinner, a snack or a cozy date. The food is amazing! Get the tuna pizza and try the Kani salad & day 5 roll.
