Great food and service. The décor is simple, but prices are great. I usually get the lunch special and corn on the cob which is amazing! Highly recommend!

This spot has the usual Mexican food menu with tacos, burritos, nachos, fajitas, and a few other options. I had the chicken burrito, it was big, the taste was very bland, and it was nothing to write home about. I thought this place would be better.

If you’re thinking of doing an online order from this place, STOP. Go somewhere else. Unbelievably horrible service for a place I previously liked. Waited two and half hours for my food. When it finally arrived, the order was mostly frozen and the enchilada had exploded in the bag. I understand that people can get busy sometimes and this can happen but if you screw up, you own it. I called, asked for a refund, of at least the spilled enchilada, and was rudely turned town. Not worth the risk. Avoid this place.

The old lady on the phone is rude af. Also, they charged me for my order before calling me and informing me that 1 mile away is too far for them to deliver. I kept calling back to cancel my charge(which is what recommends) and they ignored my number until I called from a friends phone: SHADY. She told me that the charge was my problem and not theirs. Lucky for me, I ordered with paypal. I will never order from these fools again.

I’m eating this take out as I write this. Firstly, it’s not terrible… but it’s not too good either. The chorizo quesadilla is ok but nothing above average. A little greasy considering the flavor isn’t amazing. The guacamole and chips are pretty subpar. Not like I won’t eat them bad but they are clearly store bought tostitos and I’m pretty sure the guac itself is from trader joes or costco or something. Super bland pre-prepared pureed stuff. Basically the food is fine if it’s something your roommate made on a whim but certainly not mexican restaurant quality. This place is pretty cheap though– still I doubt I’ll order from here again. Wait time was also over an hour for a delivery 7 blocks away on a small order.

Delicious food! I work around the block and it’s my turn to place for lunch. The prices are great and the flavor is on point. I have yet to have bad food from them, my favorite are their burritos or the quesadillas. The lentil soup was amazing. Be sure to get a side of the homemade hot sauce or pico de gallo, it’s totally worth it! The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient. What more could you ask for?

I ordered a quesadilla of chorizo. The quesadilla was simple. No lettuce or beans like the menu said there will be. But the flavor was good.

Love the fries and burritos they should add chicken wings to the menu! I know what does chicken wings have to do with Mexico lol but it would be nice to see it on the menu plus I have seen chicken wings on other Mexican menus

My favorite Mexican place in New York! The staff is so friendly and caring. I really adore this place. Try the shrimp tacos and natural juices. Amazing! The delivery guy is so great. Always polite and on time. Viva Los Arcos!

Pretty solid, little Mexican joint. I wouldn’t say it’s bad but it’s also nothing special. You could do worse if you’re in East Williamsburg/Bushwick and want to grab a burrito or some tacos… oh, they charge for their hot sauce though(which I believe is homemade but nothing great or worth paying extra for). Lame.

I come here very often and thought I had reviewed this place but checking on Unilocal,I only left a quick tip. Moving along, I will say that this is by far the best local Mexican restaurant we have in my area. I am truly a Mexican food junky and if I don’t have my weekly fix, I will flip out lol. Café Los Arcos definitely has some amazing food. I can’t really comment on the service because it’s usually just 1 person behind the counter but who ever is cooking the food back there deserves 20 stars. My usual is tacos de carnitas, the carnitas are finely shredded and bursting with flavors. Most restaurants will give you chunks of carnitas which I’m not a fan of so having it in fine shreds make it even more enjoyable to me. The nachos comes with melted cheese and that’s about it. To jazz up my nachos, I order sour cream and lettuce on top and a side of Pico de gallo(so fresh and delicious). I garnish my lovely nachos(not to be mistaken for their super nachos) with my Pico de gallo and start my lovely feast. It’s so huge so you don’t need to eat it with anything else. The burritos are also excellent and the burgers are also huge which reminds me of «Mondo Burgers» from the movie«Good Burger»(LOL) the Tostadas are also amazing so be sure to try that out. Beware though as the Tostada will leave a nice white mustache across your face and nose because it’s overloaded with cream. All in all this place deserves 5 stars even if delivery is slow at times.

FYI: It’s a tiny little place, so don’t go with a big group. I ordered a chicken soup of the day, it was amazing. Tasted like my own grandma made it for me. Perfect. I ordered two shrimp tacos with my soup, and they were delicious!!! My friend ordered enchiladas with red sauce and it was way too spicy for me, but he liked it. There was no waiter, it was the guy behind the cash register who took our order, and he was very personable. If this place wasn’t so far from me I would go there all the time.

It is about time I finally wrote a review of my favorite neighborhood restaurant. I order take out from here probably on average 3 times a week, ITISTHATGOOD! They are always super prompt and friendly and the food is consistently tasty. Some favorites are the Pollo Asado plater, the Chicken burrito, and the chicken tacos with the green sauce. I always get a side of rice and black beans and it is so fresh tasting. You might walk by the restaurant and not notice or pay too much attention, but you should definitely head inside and grab a great Mexican meal!

Wish I could give a rating of ZERO stars. We just came here and left immediately. I asked for the Regular Burrito and was about to ask what was included. Waitress told me what was on it but left out pico de galo. So I proceed to tell her to look on the menu on the board it says it comes with it and I’d like to have that. She says pico de galo would be extra. I show it to her on the board that it says it clearly there. She says«oh we dont’t go off of that menu». We got up and left. Terrible service. I was expecting to get some good food based on the other reviews I have seen here.

This place is a gem — delicious, cheap, unpretentious(an increasing rarity in this neck of the woods unfortunately). Their red sauce is serious business in the spice department and portions are generous.

I visited this place for my first time after being recommended by a local. It was 10:30 at night and the location could be a little sketchy because of the area but it was all good. The shop was empty with the shop owner a Mexican man who knows a great amount of English. I ordered the number 9 which is the famous burrito and it was great. It contained chicken, black beans, rice, lettuce, etc. everything home made. Great place and very good customer service.

I order the tilapia special. And it was really good! The tilapia wasn’t over cooked. And the rice and beans were flavored very well not too salty. Even the fresh veggies from the salad were delicious. I would definitely order more from this place. Really small spot. Good for quick lunch.

Great Mexican spot!!! the place– Mexican fast food. Has lots of tables inside, a TV, and a wall of mirrors… lol. the food– is always fresh and awsum, best tostadas ever. they have your typical Mexican stuff, «Big» quesadillas, nachos, tacos, burritos, salads, enchiladas, fajitas, tortas(Mexican Sandwich), and a few different tostadas. they also serve entrée plates such a Bistek Encebollado Plate(onion style steaks). the Chicken Tostadas is my absolute fave! They serve an order of 2… Crispy corn tortillas topped with refried beans, lettuce, cotija Cheese and sour cream. you can add salsa, guacamole, vegetables, pico de gallo, and jalapeños for a small extra charge. the chicken tacos are awsum, you can also use the«add ons» for the tacos. My honey gets the chicken quesadillas and is never disappointed! price is great… everything under 12 bucks. tacos are $ 2-$ 3.25, entrees(plates) $ 7-$ 12 buck. they have desserts like rice pudding and flan. friendly spanish ladies serving up home cooking type Mexican food… a must try! They do delivery and take out. the ONLY reason this place lost a star is because of the wait, sometimes it takes a while, they get alot of take out and delivery orders. Maybe call ahead and order.
