I went in today for a watercolor technique class which included a light brunch. The space was smaller than I expected, but it made more a more intimate experience. The instructor was sweet and knowledgeable and I walked away knowing a bit more about the art form. The class was a bit pricey to take, especially since the brunch was a box of store bought pasties, but overall it was fun.

I took a class here through for beginner’s sewing 101. The class was supposed to be 3 hours, from learning how to use a sewing machine(all the parts, threading, stitiches, etc) to creating a simple skirt. They let us stay well after the 3 hours to complete our projects, which was super awesome. The two women running the class(one was the owner) were very helpful and patient, even when I had some issues with my stitch coming out crooked! I never felt left behind, they took their time going around the class to everyone to help(only about 10 people in a class which was nice) and everyone worked at their own pace. I was so inspired by this class, I bought a sewing machine a week later. Really! I’ve been sewing scarves, pillows, even tank tops since. I look forward to more sewing classes and other craft classes from them because it really was such a great experience!
