We skipped out 10% discount w/BAM IDNYC membership and instead placed an Eat24 pickup order for a greasy tiny portion of their Fettuccine Al Funghi for $ 14.00+tax.

I have no clue why this place isn’t more popular, it’s always half empty when I go. They have some truly inspired pasta/sauce combinations, I had spaghetti with shrimp and Spanish chorizo. Also they have a super cheap boozy brunch, and gluten free pasta!

I love this place. Simple, unpretentious, but really delicious food. The fontina flatbread was a perfect appetizer portion and the fettucine and lamb ragu gnocchi were both excellent. Great service too, and very reasonably priced.

Ordered the four cheese pizza and black spaghetti with crab for delivery. The delivery was quick and disappointing. Half a pizza arrived and the crust had the texture of wet poppadom. The pasta itself was excellently cooked, but the sauce was so salty with an unbalanced flavor of acid and heat, it was nearly inedible. I hope all those who order in-store have a better experience.

Probably like most people, I was waiting to get seated at Emily’s, but decided to go here instead. Very happy I came! Food was very good. Pappardelle Short rib ragu was tasty, but I wish the pasta was a bit more al dente. Burger was really good, truffle fries were so good too! Very charming staff. Definitely will come back again.

Please do yourself a favor and check this place out. At first my wife and I were hesitant to go in because the restaurant was half empty in a Friday night — but who wants to wait 2 hours to be seated at Emily across the street? You know you’ve become jaded when you turn up your nose at homemade Brooklyn pasta. We ordered the rigatoni bolognese, wild mushroom linguine and the hangar steak. The bolognese was perfect — one of the best I’ve had in the city. It was deep, complex, meaty goodness over perfectly al dente pasta — you can’t go wrong here. The linguine was delicious as well, but I found the white sauce a bit too rich for my tastes. As for the hanger steak — perfectly fine, but not exactly memorable. The mashed potatoes that came with it were amazing though. If you’re looking for a casual, unpretentious atmosphere with delicious food on the cheap($ 13 for an entrée!) then Belli is definitely worth a look.

The scent of fresh pasta dough flew into the streets and rustled up my old feelings of being back in the old country. As I walked in fully dressed in fur with my four King Charles tagging behind we all knew this was the place to rest our old aching Italian feets for a small taste of Italy. Upon entering my dogs were unfortunately not aloud and had to be banished to the streets for the evening. I sat in the window so I could keep my eyes on ouova, peppereroncino, asparagi and sriracha as I ate. The butternut squash antipasto was dripping in delightfully heavy balsamic just enough to lick the plate followed by a deeply heavy and rich risotto just like my uncle used to make with his spicy sweet sausage and mushrooms. I polished off about 2 carafe of the redred wine because I had no one to impress. All in all not a dreadful experience but not one I would dance in the streets about.

Walking down Fulton street just happened to run into this spot !! The food was great! The best eggs Benedict and French toast I had in a while. Definitely a good spot for dates, or bug group of friends. The staff was very friendly, and the bottomless mimosas were pretty consistent! #noglassleftbehind Will def be coming back!

The food is good. I enjoyed my Rigatoni with roasted eggplant. I’m sad to say the service was terrible. They also charged my friend’s credit card twice.

I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat before going out. My friends and I opted to eat at the bar. I was in too much of a rush to pay attention to décor. I ordered the gnocchi with lamb ragu. Very delicious. The contained wilted arugula in it and I can honestly slap arugula on anything. I also had their white pear sangria(I think that was the name). It was overly sweet but thankfully I had my entrée to cut that. I will come in again one day to sit and dine, that night just wasn’t it.

First time visiting for brunch with friends and I will probably never return. The hostess and waitress clearly needed training on how to greet and assist customers. Opted for the brunch with unlimited mimosas which the drinks were good, however once the resturant started to fill up our waitress stop coming to our table. She did not visit for about 45 mins. Perhaps she was overwhelmed but that’s not my problem. Overall my food was not good, had the the huevos rancheros which came out cold and flavorless. I would not revisit, as it’s not worth it. There are tons of other restaurants in the Clinton Hill area to choose from. With bad service and mediocre food, there’s no reason to suffer thru a visit here. This particular location seems to never be successful; a revolving door of average restaurants is what it is.

Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful meal we had at Belli! We came, like many others, to eat at Emily’s right across the street only to hear that it was over a 2 hour wait! Insane. Belli is charming, food is incredible and the staff is very attentive. I’ve gone back twice already and will definitely stop by again next time I’m in the neighborhood. Things you can’t skip: 1) Truffle fries– amazing, not oily and packed with truffle oil 2) Spaghetti Al Nero– homemade black pasta with blue crab, chili and lemon; Did I lick the plate clean? You better believe it 3) Spaghetti Calabrese– Boyfriend said it was delicious and had a nice kick 4) Roasted Brussel sprouts– I always get this item at every restaurant and this one stands out because it’s filled with BACON.

I came here with my girlfriend and her parents because emily loves pizza was a one hour + wait! So we were a bit disappointed but this restaurant definitely made it worth while. It’s right across the street and definitely is good Italian food. The Food: We got two flatbread pizzas, both of which were pretty solid. Its hard to go wrong with pizza and they definitely did it right. The cheese, tomato sauce, the meat, the bread all tasted good and would get it again. The bread they served with the tomato sauce in the beginning was excellent. I loved it. I got the cheese dish to share and the butternut squash ravioli. Those were both great. The mild sweetness of the butternut squash and the cheesy sauce complimented each other very nicely. The cheeses they gave us were all delicious especially when paired with the fig jam they had. The burger they had looked great too. I got to try some of the parmesan truffle fries and they were delicious. Next time, I’m getting that. 4⁄5 The Venue: Really awesome looking interior with high ceilings and a cozy atmosphere. It’s great for dates and in a decent part of the neighborhood. Our seats were comfortable enough and the table was big enough for all the food. 4⁄5 The Service: My water was never empty. The service was on point and prompt. The food took quite some time to get out to us but that was fine. We ate and drank until we were satisfied and then some. 5⁄5 Overall: I’d come again for sure. However, there was nothing very«WOW» about this place. Overall, it’s just solid, good Italian food. Nothing wrong with it but definitely nothing too amazing about this place either. Great experience and delicious but lacking the extra oomph I think it needs for a 5 star review.

Unintentionally came to this place. Was going to a restaurant across the street that I didn’t realize was closed at the moment. This place was pretty nice. It’s open and spacey. I had the regular pizza and it was pretty good(not incredible but pretty good). I liked their complimentary bread. And I got their broccoli which was great. And the place was not noisy… you can actually carry on a conversation. People working there were pleasant and quick and attentive. I wish places would stop charging me for every coke refill. I just think it’s silly that restaurants in NYC do this.

This was a great experience. I was a little hesitant because it is on the side of Fulton that is a little less gentrified but everything was amazing. We were a party of 14, and we had our own private little area/room to be loud and rowdy. We ordered a bunch of apps, the shrimp, the calamari, cheese plates(fig Jam was outrageous), and the butternut squash with buffalo mozzarella. Everyone scarfed down the appetizers, there was nothing left! For dinner my boyfriend and I ordered the parpadelle with a short rib ragu, the lamb ragu gnocchi, and black spaghetti with crab meat. We thought everything was delicious. I think our fave was the black spaghetti it was spicy and had a little heat but not too much. The pasta was so well cooked! It was perfectly al dente! I am so looking forward to going back!

Excellent place! Started off with the avocado and arugula salad… It was a decent sized portion, just big enough for two to peck on. I ordered the rigatoni bolognese, which was perfectly perfect. She ordered the papardelle with braised short rib, also perfect. Oh, and the bread? Divine! It comes piping hot with a tomato based dipping sauce. The outside is crisp, while the inside is dense yet airy. Great place with absolutely reasonable prices considering the quality and the fact that it’s in Brooklyn. I hope the hipsters never find it!

I HIGHLY recommend this place! The food is delicious, the service is extremely friendly and the ambience is casual enough for lunch but yet romantic enough to bring a date at night. I always order the spaghetti rigatoni with Grandma’s bolognese sauce. It’s served with fresh bread and a home made dipping sauce. Top that off with a glass of Malbec and your in food coma! it’s the best Italian food that I have had in NYC. I am a repeat customer. The owners themselves and the waitstaff are extremely friendly and you can tell that truly care for their customers and business. So if your in the Clinton Hill area and want some great Italian food this is the place to check out!
