The food here is good, very authentic. I usually to take away and its always good. I don’t know about eating there though, because I never have.

Dishonest operations Beware of S.P. Menu items. Have the waiters write down the value before you order. We ordered a dish that we both heard the waiter say 28.95 and come the bill it’s 38.95. It’s not about the $ 10 that I care about. It’s the dishonesty of the waiters that i cannot stand. Plenty of similar quality Chinese restaurant around. I’d go to a place that is honest.

This is for sure one if not the best authentic Chinese food in the neighborhood. Some of our faves are the dumpling soup if it’s two of u I would get one with noodles and one without because with noodles they only give u 4 dumplings. Also their roast pork and duck of course and their Beef pan fried noodles. We come here at 3 times a month.

i hate giving places bad reviews that i wanted to enjoy. we had 2 tables for dinner and they were friendly and all that good stuff. the food just lacked flavor. we had SOMUCHFOOD. and they all consistently lacked flavor. the house chicken was probably the biggest hit but that was free. we had crab over vermicelli noodles — totally underseasoned and slightly dry. steamed fish was overcooked. t bone steak was nothing unique — bland. fried sweet n sour spare ribs — was not even sweet and sour, it was just red. veggie dishes all bland. shrimp with mayo — underwhelming. roasted garlic chicken was about the only decent dish. pigs feet was funky — but believe their specialty. we had fish maw seafood soup and it was not spot on. needed vinegar and white pepper. we had a few more dishes but you get the point. i like to believe they had an off day but this was one of the worst family dining chinese food our family has had in a long while. i think they specialize in roasted meats /lobster. the phone was off the hook on a friday night of orders.

This place is amazing food is great and friendly staff! Only down side I would say it’s small and portions are kind of small compared to other restaurants.

Just your typical Chinese restaurant. Always a fan of their congee and rice dishes, never had a bad experience. Will keep coming back for sure!

This is fast food Chinese place, which I typically like a lot. My girlfriend and I came here after stopping by in Brooklyn for some other reasons and we got a recommendation for this place by my mom. We sat down and ordered a couple things. I got a chicken lo mein(gai see yee mein) and my girlfriend got a salt and pepper pork chop rice order. Both of the items could’ve used a little more flavor(though my girlfriend was especially unhappy with the pork chop’s flavor), but for fast food chinese food, I thought it was alright. Would not recommend getting the chicken lo mein since it was pretty flavorless, but I did order a pork and pickled cabbage rice order(yuk see ja choi fan) that was really quite good and flavorful. Would come back for that again. As far as service and atmosphere, don’t expect much, because well… yeah. What was odd was that it took a long time to get our food. Odd.

After an incident of food poisoning, we moved our business else where. The entire family had food poisoning, including the little one. :(I don’t mess around if you get my little guy sick!

Very good cantonese restaurant. Came here on a Monday night, and it wasn’t that crowded. Party wasn’t all there yet and they let us sit and drink tea for maybe 20 minutes without asking us if we were ready to order(this may have been lack of attention, but I’ll spin it as a positive). Don’t bother ordering the american fare dishes, but probably stick with the chinese on the wall. You probably want to come with someone that knows what he/she is doing and can read the writing… The duck was great, not that fatty and had good meat to it. If it wasn’t so far away, I’d probably come back here again. Service was acceptable, though if you wanted anything you’d have to wave them down. They were kind enough to tell us to stop ordering cuz we had too many dishes, lol. If you order enough/have enough people, they give some chicken in ginger/scallion sauce.

Decently priced Chinese food, quick service, good taste. Just not the best I’ve ever had. Had their pork and thousand year old egg congee, rice paste with roasted pork, and chicken fried rice for $ 13. Chicken fried rice was okay, congee hit the spot with lots of meat and egg but a little watery, rice paste had a lot of meat but I wish I got the shrimp instead. Overall good place for a quick fix. Their health inspection rating is currently pending as of today.

My dad told me about this place being the best for roasted duck and how it was his favorite during his bachelor days. 10 years later, he brought me here and it was incredible. The roasted duck was delicious and full of flavor. The rice meal was bigger than I had an imagine which was good because I got a lot of food for the money I paid for. On the day we left, I tried congee. Most of the members in my family love congee while I cannot stand the watery taste and consistency. However, this congee with the duck was delicious. I cannot wait to come back again the next time I am in New York.

Never Ever again. I guest because i’m American and a women i should be treated like i am not important. My bff Jenny L. took me here for some soup, something light because i had a long night ahead of me. Once we walked in no one wanted to seat us, so we took it upon ourselves to sit where-ever we felt. the Waiter was being a little rude, but once he seen my friend Jenny spoke Chinese his whole vibe changed. I tried to ask some questions about the soup i was ordering but he barely made eye contact with me. so jenny ordered everything and once i asked for a bottle of water he told me no water. Excuse me no water!!!(i wanted to slap this man). with continuing on with the poor service. Jenny ordered Beef Chow fun and i ordered a Dumpling soup with Hao Fun noodles. My soup was bland i guest that’s how people like it and jenny Beef Chow fun and it was delicious. i wouldn’t come back but thats my opinion.

Came in today with family to ask if they sold«dai bao» aka big bun and the guy at the front rudely chuckled and mocked us. If you don’t sell it, just say no… we don’t need to see how freakin rude you are. Will never step foot into this establishment ever again!

I have been here many times but never thought to review until now because nothing changes over the past few year since I know of this place. Decent size restaurant for a quick fix or pick up and go. Although it’s just a simple little Chinese food restaurant, it’s better than your average take out. The prices are cheap compared to the portion of food given. I’m not too crazy about the services because it’s not a dine and wine type of restaurant. The restaurant staff wants to get your order quick and get you out of there so they can«serves» the next customer. However, the food is worth it for me to keep coming for, but I recommended for take out. Oh! Something I must say, the two-time I dine in there, they gave us a complimentary«salted chicken dish» but I can’t remember for what reason. Recommend: — Soy sauce chicken — Roasted pork Any other dish, you can basically order anywhere else, and it’s around the same.

I came here on Sunday around 1PM and they were pretty busy, but there were still a few tables available. They were still serving breakfast items. I’m not quite sure when they stop serving it. Since it was my first time here, I wanted to try a variety of their offerings. Between the two of us we ordered five items and we definitely over ordered. In the end we couldn’t finish everything. We had: 1. Sweet fried dough — This is pretty big and you can share it. It’s not too oily and the dough is very soft and a bit sweet.($ 1.00) 2. Pork w/thousand year egg congee — This is one of my favorite congee and it was smooth with the right thickness and tasty too.($ 4.00) 3. Steamed rice roll w/fried dough — The dough was fresh and chewy, unlike some places where it’s hard and old. This dish the portions are huge.($ 3.75) 4. Steamed rice roll w/shrimp — The skin was a little thick but it was still good. The shrimp was plump and fresh.($ 2.75) 5. Steamed rice roll w/dried shrimp — The dried shrimp gives it a salty shrimp taste and it had scallions. Together with the dried shrimp and scallion it was a good combination.($ 2.25) There were plenty of servers and they were friendly. The service was good and the fast came out fast and piping hot. I really like this place and I will definitely come back for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Not only is the food good the price is relatively cheap. There’s not much of a décor to this place. It looks like any other Cantonese restaurant. The place is not too small or too big. It’s good for groups.

Went here a few times and it was great! If one ever wants Chinese food, they should come here! At first, I went to the other one with the dim sum but it was too packed so we decided to come here. I recommend the basic roasted pork and congee with the thousand year egg and minced pork. It was amazing. Although the roasted pork rice was a little cold it was still good. On the other hand, I really don’t recommended the Shang hai spring rolls. I really didn’t know what I was eating. Overall, the customer service is amazing. The workers were engaging in conversations with us and they were quite enthusiastic. I would give this place a 4.5 if I could. Lastly, I thought they should have cleaned the place alittle more. I didn’t exactly feel clean and comfortable sitting in for a long time.

My hot spot when i want comfort chinese food. Everything here is so good and so cheap! I highly recommend Roasted duck, congee with pork balls, big pang chow mein(vermicelli noodles with seafood and lots of other stuff) so yummy. Servers hear speak decent english so dont be afraid to dine in.

A usual lunch spot for me and my boyfriend on those lazy days or busy days where we must eat and go. This place makes the congee just the way I like it, creamy, thick and just the perfect amount of flavor. If I order congee, I have my mind on their soup noodles and vice versa. So why not order both? I always order a soup noodle and a congee for myself. My usual favorites are their combination congee or the thousand year egg congee, roasted duck wonton noodles, and basically all their bbq meat items in the front. I have seen this place crowded and empty but the front’s take-outs and pick ups are busy at all times. I’ve seen other diners eating fried noodle dishes and different rice combinations from the kitchen. I have yet to try more of their dishes! I had their steamed fried rice roll with minced dried shrimp once and I remember telling myself I wouldn’t order it again. Another thing I don’t like about this place is that I just don’t feel clean and comfortable when dining in.

I usually come here with my family for a dinner out, occasionally a lunch rice box, and their roast meats to go. based on dinners, they are inconsistent. one time i went and it was horrendously bad. chicken was dry, lobster barely had any meat in it and one dish mostly missed the main protein ingredient and was mostly a pile of bell peppers. However, i went last night and our dinner was good. the lamb chops had good flavor(although they use a fair amount of tenderizing powder), the lobsters had enough meat for what you’re paying for, the veggies we got were solid, the pork chops were fine, and while the salt and pepper squid wasn’t the typical breading, it was at least tender. lunch box and roast meats are typically solid, so i’m happy on that end. service…it’s a chinese place and you get what you get for the price. i get it, and am not going to rail on dinner service. my issue is when i go line up for some roast meats to go, and i get crazy old ladies cutting me off after i’ve been waiting for 15 min. the guys behind the counter know i’ve been waiting but let everyone jump in and order ahead of me. the only way to get your order in is pretty much be super aggressive and mean(which i’m fine with doing as well).
