To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of fish, but I love shellfish. Other than that, I would eat salmon and the salmon I get from here is perfect, every time. Fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced, this has become my go-to seafood place. Shrimps, live crabs(in the summer), and lobster — you can’t really go wrong with the selection here. Another great thing about this place is the stuff besides the fish. Their Asian snacks will be the death of me. I can never have enough of the little fruit jellies or shrimp crackers and it will seriously be a problem. Also, for those interested, they sell fresh vegetables too, which I thought was a nice touch. My mom loves that stuff. Me, not so much — but worth noting. I’ve seen the workers carefully bagging them during slower periods. All in all, about as good as it gets for a seafood market! P. S. They no longer offer delivery service, sadly. But it’s so close to the train, it’s really not that much of an issue for me.

I am seriously so excited after finding out that there is a fish market a few blocks from me and also at the same time a market that sells TONSOFVIETNAMESEFOOD. I’m obviously Viet and I miss my moms cooking and there’s no Viet restaurants(at least not good) around! From cha lua to fresh phở noodles… I’m soooo happy. They even have durian candy! Plus everyone there is nice, and it’s clean and organized, and I walked out of there with 2 big bags for less than $ 25. They deliver their products within a 5 mile radius, which makes me want to cry! They also close at 8pm and their minimum credit card is $ 10…yay!

I tried this seafood place out when I visited family in NY. I bought some salmon from here and it was very fresh! They also have great service and a wide selection of seafood! Definitely a go to place in NY for seafood!

Excellent local fish store with large selection of SE Asian grocery items. Broad range of low priced fresh and frozen fish and fish byproducts. Always very clean. This is a store for people who know fish and seafood and how to cook them.

This is my local seafood store. I’ve been pleased with the selection and my purchases. I haven’t gotten sick form anything bought here, which would be the main concern if the store smells«fishy», as the two other reviewers notes. I usually get shrimp and they are good. A few times they seemed to be caked with ice, which suggested that they may have been thawed and frozen a few times but, again, I didn’t get sick. The cod, catfish, flounder, and sole have all been good. The cod fillets are my favorite. The salmon is fine as well. They have lobster sometimes but I’ve never tried it here. I’d recommend folks to shop here. It’s a much better selection of seafood then you’d get at the local supermarkets.

Previous reviewer commented that this place smelled of fish — that is a bad sign! Fish smells«fishy» when it’s bad! I came here looking for mussels and was sold a bag of mussels that had been harvested 2 weeks prior. They were all dead! Admittedly, it’s a bit unfair to give this place a 1-star review based on one bad experience — but if they’re selling 2 week old fish, I won’t be back!

This place is great. Yes, the entire store smells strongly of fish, so it is not for the weak of heart, but guess what, it’s a fish store! Fortunately it is a spacious store so you won’t feel claustro-fisho-phobic. I have had tilapia and flounder from here and they were both excellent, better quality than I’ve gotten from supermarkets. They have a wide variety of fish, and I’ve seen shrimp and lobster here too. The prices are comparable to, and often better than, Stop and Shop.
