This local independent business has had to shut down because the landlord raised the rent unreasonably. The bakery next door (Mother’s Bakery– see my review and commentary on that) will be shutting for good at the end of this month due to the same lowlife tactics. The Keyfood/​Acme group are apparently able to pay the money and so will be expanding their cockroach factory to engulf what was a wonderful family owned bakery (in business for 60+ years) and family owned fish mongers. I wish local residents would stop frequenting these dirtbag chain places and become educated as to how they are colluding to destroy their very own neighborhood by using CVS, dunking turdnuts etc rather than giving business to real people, not trashy chains and enormous corporate monopolies. Sad.

This is a wonderful fish store. The wild salmon is extraordinary and the lobster salad is fresh and tasty. They wrap everything with care and provide friendly service.

FRESH QUALITY is why we have been going to the Riverdale Fish Company for over 5 years. Very clean store and the owner is always very helpful. The manner in which the fish is wrapped after a sale offers a hint about the care they take in delivering quality.

This place is very good. They have prepared fish and soups — as well as fresh fish for one to prepare at home. They keep the shop meticulously clean. I would strongly recommend it.

I’ve walked pass this place plenty of times, but never had a reason to go in, until now. I picked up some tilapia filets & eyed the bronzino. I was nicely surprised when the filets were fresh & good eats. In addition to the fish counter, a small pre-​cooked section is available with seafood dishes. Some are ready to eat. Prices are very reasonable!
Its a small moms & pops store that serve their patrons as if close family members.
