This is my neighborhood bodega — but their food is amazing! The personalities of the owners and their family is incredible — they always welcome you with a smile and a laugh — ask about the family… and don’t worry if you don’t have that 15 cents –you’ll give it to them next time. They sell amazing food — from traditional cuban to deli sandwiches. Their chicken parm is to die for (i could eat one every day) and their store cat Pilon — always greats with an attack of the feet…
If you are lucky you can score some home made flan, bread pudding or homemade chocolates — and they have assured me that they will be having bbq as soon as the warm weather hits!
try their homemade pasteles, alcapurias, pastelillos, and empanadas — absolutely delicious!
