I stopped in with my 20% off welcome to the neighborhood coupon, knowing I needed a fork and spoon. What I ended up finding was the beautiful J.A. Henckels International Rapture 45-Piece Flatware Set. It was on sale for $ 39! my head imploded when I found it in the flatware wall. I ran to the register because I didn’t want to them realize their mistake and take them away from me. I used my coupon and walked out feeling like the curse that had dogged my family for centuries had finally broken. When I got home I opened them, to prepare them for use. Sadly, it was missing 7 forks and 7 spoons. I wept, for myself and for my future children for the curse was still with us. I sadly went back to the store, to return the set. I tried finding another set. Couldn’t find an employee so I hung out in the section. I looked for help on the floor. Found Joslyn. She looked with me. She then said she would check the computer for me. So she checked and offered to order them for me. When she went online they were $ 80! my heart sank. Then she called her manager Sam? Josh? Jesus? and he said over ride the price for her!!! I wept! Three days later my new set arrived. I have used it nonstop. I have posted them on IG. I have eaten pizza with a knife and fork! I have laughed at the friends that entered failed marriages for flatware. I have found the true meaning of life every time I use one of these 45 pieces. So yeah… I had a good experience. And will be back, might even bring a spoon with me.

For the most part, this store is ok. They lack a lot of variety and don’t carry expensive brands that I like such as All Clad and Calphalon. They also don’t carry higher priced bedding compared to other bed bath locations. The lines tend to be long and slow. It also seems that they changed their return policy regarding buy buy baby items without receipts. They used to take items as long as they weren’t car seats and strollers but now thru only take anything.

I absolutely love bed, bath and beyond stores and this one has everything you’ll ever need. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because there’s never an employee around to help you and the cashiers are extremely slow!

Normally I love Bed, Bath and Beyond– I mean who wouldn’t love walking down aisles and aisles full of candles and potpourri! My issue with them is their customer service which sucks! I had to wait 45 minutes to exchange something because the girl at the counter couldn’t figure out how to change the paper for the register. When she calls the manger she doesn’t show up for another 25 minutes due to what I can only presume was a towel emergency! When the girl actually ends up processing the exchange she charges me twice for a candle because she was too lazy to remove the items from the bag and just scanned them. It was the worst! I had to return it and deal with yet another waste of time exchange! That same day 2 of the workers standing by the doors talking(though they were really yelling) blocking the entrance upsetting people who are trying to walk out with shoppng carts full of stuff. Besides that experience, the lines normally get really long because they only have one register open since all of the employees are doing who knows what in the back. Bad experience! I shame you BBB, you need to step it up.

A standard issue Bed Bath & Beyond, but with the added Bronx charm of endless line ups and very very few staff members. Why can’t any store in Gateway hire enough people to deal with customers. It’s almost like it’s a conspiracy to keep everyone in my neighborhood constantly irritated.

I could stay in this place for HOURS shopping. They have practically everything you could ever use for your home, and more. Moving into a new space? This is the perfect place. I came here to buy a few home décor items, and my 20% off coupon wasn’t able to be accessed on my iPad. The manager gladly allowed me to get the discount anyway. Great customer service! Will come again.

For years, I’ve steered clear of Bed Bath & Beyond. I swear their prices used to be unreasonable, but that’s definitely not the case now. Huge selection of bath, kitchen, home and beauty products. The store is huge and well organized. Whenever we come here to pick up something, we end up leaving with at least three more items. Things I don’t like: Many products are placed high up on the shelves, and it’s usually hard to find an employee who is available to help. Also, the checkout line is always horrible. Always.

I love bed bath and beyond, and this change in the south bronx is no different. They have great deals on bedding, beauty products, kitchen appliances, and home goods. They are reasonably priced, in fact their drug store products(tooth paste, mositurizers, lotions, etc). I compared prices to other stores and they are about $ 1 cheaper on products. They also have unique brands of products that I usually can’t find in duane reade or rite aid. They have a huge selection of beauty products, which is why I love this bed bath. Considering how huge their store is, it is always clean. I usually don’t see any messes, and their staff is always friendly and helpful. The wait to pay isn’t that long on weekdays, only a little longer on weekends. Definitely check it out!
