THE S L O W E S T service ever — and to top it off management doesn’t reply to concerns at all. Against my better judgement, I tried this place again this past weekend, waited in the drive through line for 33 minutes… for a beverage. I took a pic of the drivethrough and voiced my concerns via FB messenger… no reply. I sent another message Tuesday about the fact that they clearly didn’t care and how bad of a business move that was. Still no reply. All I wanted was an acknowledgment/apology. Now they won’t get a penny of my business again. No matter what.

After eating a chicken sandwich from here this afternoon, I’ve been violently ill. This was so not worth the«eh» sandwich and the cold fries… For $ 8. What a flipping joke. This started 10 hours ago… NEVERAGAIN!

Slowest fast food service ever! I was craving a butterfingers sonic blast so I headed over after a long day of work. I asked for two orders at the drive thru as I had another person ordering separately from me. The drive-thru informed me I wild have to go to the car port for more than one order. I waited at the car port for 5 min before pulling into the drive-thru again and sending the other party inside. Total wait time was 20 min for a small order. Don’t waste your time. Go to Wendy’s, Frankie’s or Chili’s. I’m sure you’ll have faster service and better food.

Not even 1 star. So we ordered the 2 Asiago chicken sandwich combo with a Diet Coke and tots, the #2 double cheeseburger combo with only mayo, ketchup, and mustard, tots, and a large blue slushie with nerds, and 2 beef burritos. Over $ 22, you’d think they could get that correct? Nope. Over 20 mins waiting in the drive thru, didn’t get the 2nd chicken sandwich, I asked for ketchup and got a snotty response of it’s in the bag(if I’m asking for ketchup, it’s because I want more than 2 packets) and that double cheeseburger? Yeah, definitely came as a single. We pull into the parking lot, I call inside the store, complain about the chicken sandwich and the burger, and get a uh, uhm, uh, well I guess I can remake the burger. What would you like on it? I tell the guy. Ok I’ll remake it. What did you want on it? Told him again, and just drove away. And these people want $ 18 an hour? Yeah, ok. I would rather drive out to Manchester for Sonic. This place is deplorable. Customer service? What customer service?

The food is good when they actually get the orders right, I don’t mind that much because it’s a bunch of kids working for a terrible, miserable boss that just abuses her staff. Not to mention they actually steal money from their employees’ accounts I order a hot dog with JUST cheese and they give me one with mustard and cheese, I ask if I could just get another one without the mustard, I get one without mustard and cheese. I ask if I could get the cheese back on it and they gave me a hot dog with cold cheese and at that point that’s what I ate because I was just a bit annoyed at that point? Also messed up my drink that I ordered for someone else

Never again. The food is fine but the order is seriously never right. The workers are disrespectful. There is never an actual adult to speak with and when you write a review there’s no response. After living in the south, I was looking forward to sonic opening up here… there’s no comparison! Don’t even bother going here!

This place couldn’t suck anymore if they tried. For real. I brought my daughter here as a «treat» for lunch. Yeah, it was magical. I spent 10 minutes waiting for someone to talk to me on the speaker. Just about ready to drive off and they appeared to actually be open. My bad assuming someone would be around on a Sunday at 1pm. I then spent another 10 minutes waiting for food. A kid’s meal, a small order of mozz sticks and a plain cheeseburger ran me $ 13. Give me a break. My daughter liked her food but then it isnt really hard to screw up a grilled cheese and fries. My burger was just that — a meat patty and bun with nothing else on it. Which just left me feeling pissed — $ 13 for a meal not even worth $ 1 anywhere else. Sonic, you have lost your appeal. The only thing worth getting here is the ice cream and with this location, I wouldn’t even trust them to do that.

I’m assuming all Sonic spots are the same cause it’s a chain so I’m once is enough for me. There isn’t really any flavor to the food and nothing I’d go back to Sonics for.

Wow… Now I know this is simple fast food. No biggie there. Little better than mc Donald’s and such which is just fine to me. My one star is only because this is the SLOWEST sonic I’ve been to in my life. ANDIMTHEONLYONEHERE!!! Lol. Also was just told I was helped by the manager to take my order. Holy miserable!!! Won’t be coming back here anytime soon.

If it weren’t for the delicious slushes, they would get zero stars. Unfriendly staff, they don’t know the menu either. Food is horrible. Drinks delicious!

No person with any amount of self respect would ever eat 99 percent of the food here(or any sonic for that matter.) The corn dogs, French toast sticks, and the pickle o’s are passable for a quick snack but that’s about it. I once ordered cheese fries and the cheese was cold and solidified over the fries forming a skin. GROSS. Returned that and got my money back. The milkshakes and the slushes sound amazing because they have so many delicious sounding flavors, but they’re not. They’re incredibly disappointing. Only thing worth getting is the cherry limeade.

Took for ever for the girl at the front to get through 2 customers, she went in back after every order. She had a pus on her face and a terrible attitude.

I see Connecticut still isn’t over the Sonic novelty and still expect some super-epic experience. It’s fast food FFS. Stop expecting a five star dining experience at a glorified Burger King with an extensive drink menu. Temper your expectations a bit and you won’t be disappointed. That said, Sonic is pretty damn good every once in a blue moon when I want some junk food. I always order a blue coconut slush with chocolate. I’m angry that Pickle-O’s are not on the menu anymore at ANY Sonic. They were awesome… more places should serve fried pickles.

Lot of fried stuff mostly on the menu… I tend to stay away from lot of it… I mainly get the drinks and coney dog or the grilled cheese(both with Asiago cheese — no yellow… yuck)… I like the way they serve you as a drive in. But I tend to goto the window(drive up) when it is cold outside. I feel bad for them.(I know I know its their job! Sheesh.) I think they are better known for their unique drinks and premium ice cream shakes. YUM!

it seems from the other reviews I’m reading I’m not alone in expecting Sonic to be more than your regular fast food restaurant. I guess if you go in with low expectations you won’t be disappointed. My son has been seeing commercials for a while on Nickelodeon promoting Sonic & some Spongebob kids meal so we had to go while passing through CT recently. I remember going to a Sonic in Texas a few years ago & being impressed so we had to try it. I was expecting Five Guys quality but ended up getting Wendy’s quality maybe. My milkshake was pretty damn good though & my son had no problem eating his fries. But again, just your regular quality fast food. Nothing earth shattering! The servers were friendly & helpful but the rollerblades is a gimmick that does nothing for me. They were happy to get us extra condiments & even gave my son a balloon. The location still looks brand new & I do like the flat screen TVs inside. The ordering was a bit confusing but it was my first trip there. It would’ve been neat to sit out in the car to eat I suppose but there was no room. The place was jamming for a Friday night but I think once the novelty of being new wears off people won’t be so excited to go.

This was my first time going to a sonic. Pros: It was cool being able to order from my car and have someone roller blade it out to me, and the food is cheap. Cons: the food is cheap because the food is awful. I wasn’t surprised at how bad it was, but it was really bad food. Even the fries weren’t good. I got a cookie dough ice cream shake thing, even that wasn’t good!!! They messed up ice cream, how?! If you’ve never been to Sonic, I understand going to see what it’s about. Now that I’ve gone to see what it is about though, I will NEVER go back. Honestly Wendy’s is gourmet in comparison… No joke!

Standard fast food. Bacon double cheeseburger was better than McDonalds and BK but not nearly as good as Wendy’s or any number of other burger places. Drinks are still awesome but that’s about it. Felt like garbage the next day though. Will be avoiding Sonic for health reasons other than if I want something good to drink. The 3 stars are based on drinks alone. Oh and the hot dogs are tasty too.

Always wanted to try sonic saw the ads on TV all the time. They forgot half my family’s order had to go up and they didn’t believe me. I showed my receipt and they fixed it My drink spilled I went up to tell them and to get a new drink and was told by the cashier very rudely we don’t do refills. The cashier was very rude the lady that brought our food was great she was nice she brought me another drink and she brought balloons for the kids. The food was good.

So far so good for Sonic. Good service and fresh fast food.
