Have been going there for years and it has steadily declined. They finally removed the broken ice cream machine, but have let the place go without updates too long. Many of the booths have no padding left in the seats and the floor is way overdue to be replaced. The servers are not as friendly as they could be and when the tour busses come in, it is crazy. As soon as anyone in your party goes up for a second time, the check is delivered to the table, even if the place is empty. This used to be a very nice place but has gone down hill in recent years. Hopefully, it will get better. I Gave it 2 stars because the food, when filled, is fresh and tasty.

Came here on Mother’s Day with my family. Haven’t stopped in in years so we figured why not try it since its been awhile. It’s normal for the lines to reach the door since its a holiday. Didn’t really mind the wait. Once they called my number to be seated, we walked over to the table and it was filthy. The utensils weren’t properly cleaned and there were food crumbs everywhere. I asked a woman to please whip down and give us different utensils. Now as for the food, I only went for one plate because it just didn’t live up to what I expected. They won’t be seeing me there again.

I’ve been to dozens of Chinese buffets in the US, and find the setups and food are very similar. The differences are almost all in size, variety, freshness, and the condition of the interior. Given that, with the focus on the food freshness, Tin Tin is better than most, in my opinion. Weekday lunch was fresh and cost $ 8, and filling up a take-out container with about as much food is also about $ 8.

I was initially scared to try this place because of all the negative reviews, but the deal was too good to pass up($ 10.45/per person for buffet). I have to say, I’m glad I took the chance! As long as you know what you’re getting into here(Chinese buffet food, nothing fancy), you should be very happy. They have all the usuals like beef/broccoli, egg rolls, fried rice, General Tso’s chicken, and much, much more. Everything tasted great, and there’s a fruit/salad bar and plenty of American food like pizza/fries for people who don’t like Chinese food. The staff was good, the restaurant was clean(didn’t use the restroom so can’t attest for that though), and I would be happy to go there again. If they just had an ice-cream machine or fried dough for dessert, it might just be one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

I am typing this as I am sitting in the restaurant NOTEATING. Right after I put the lo mein into my mouth, I spit it out immediately. Not only can I taste rubbing alcohol, I can smell the plate of alcohol from my seat. I told the waitress to make sure nobody gets food poisoning. The waitress brought the bowlcut girl to our table, and claimed that it is their«home recipe» and uses cooking alcohol. I hope that she knows the difference between alcohol and wine. Other than the noodles, other foods are so so. Coming from a Chinese family, I’ve used cooking wine myself when I make dinner. Cooking wine tastes NOTHING like this. Maybe they ran out of cooking wine so they used vodka or something. I don’t know but that is disgusting. IT. IS. OBVIOUSLY. RUBBING. ALCOHOL. Yeah, we may have different taste buds, but it is not the«ew I don’t like the way it tastes.» ITISRUBBINGALCOHOL. It is amazing how Tin Tin can give no NOAPPETITE after 1 plate of food. Because at buffets, I eat like a pig. Mind you, I did not eat for the whole date until 6PM. I had 2 stars. But we didn’t even asked for a check and the waitress assumed that we were done eating. She just threw the check on the table. WEWEREN’T DONEEATING. EXCUSEME? Sorry, another star down. Everyone has a bad attitude here. The bowlcut girl should have just said sorry and take my plate away so I could get another plate of food. But she decides to he on arguing with me. I don’t know. If you’re broke, come. I’d stick to McDonalds.

The food is ok if you’re in a bind. Get the salad and fruit. My complaint is with the horrible girl at the register. She’s the young one with the rice bowl haircut and a scowl. I used to go there 2 – 3 times a week and always said hi, but she never managed to squeak out a smile. She’s the most unpleasant thing there and I swear she’s racist against non-Asian customers. I’ve seen her in action. Beware! She won’t touch money from African American customers and she’s thinks she’s better than them. She needs to be fired. No excuse for her behavior. The other lady with the longer hair is super nice and friendly. And she’s fair to everyone.

I was scared upon entering here because it didn’t look great aesthetically at all but honestly, the food really wasn’t that bad! Really great price too!!! Everything I tried tasted really good and I was satisfied. obviously not a five star restaurant but good for what it is.

I used to LOVE Tin Tin Buffet, NOT Any More! They have gone WAY downhill! What wasn’t cold, was greasy. The Fried Chicken Wings, had NO flavor & same is said for the Pepperoni Pizza. The Lo-mein was oily & flavorless. Do Yourself a favor and eat at Panda Express instead!

In my 4 years in MA, it’s become clear to me that buffets are not as common or as a big a deal as they are back home in NJ. On that note, $ 10 for AYCE dinner? I am A-OK. Honestly they have a decent spread as long as you recognize this place for what it is — cheap, greasy, Americanized Chinese food. You can get all the basics like fried rice, lo mein, dumplings and then some. Although much to my surprise they offer some authentic options like the marinated cucumbers, garlic seaweed, & kimchi(it’s by the salad bar FYI — i almost missed this). The clams in black bean sauce are true to form as well.

I came to this establishment with a friend one evening after work, and I couldnt be happier that they were open until 10:30. As a pescatarian, i found this place very hard to enjoy. The options were limited. More importantly, It wasn’t a very clean establishment. My friend captured on camera staff practicing plain distegard for hygeine and food regulations. As i was picking the hair out of my food, i noticed staff member preping green beans on a bare table. First this was shocking but i noticed how the two women were cleaning tables and washing dishes with their BARE hands and THEN continued prepping the green beans. The waitress then drops some beans on the floor and proceeds to pick them up and put them back in the pile.

Not bad for a buffet. $ 6.95 for lunch and $ 9.95 for dinner. Quality of food is ok when it is busy. Need to hit a buffet when there’s a big crowd as the food is replenished frequently.

Tin Tin Buffet is actually a very good chinese buffet(all you can eat) for a low, reasonable price. The seating is huge and comfortable and in a minute the waiter brings by complementary lemonade or soda and return with fresh drinks immediately after the glasses are empty. The seafood selections are usually with nice mussells and quite fresh. And much of the food is rather healthy, so I know I can watch my diet and still eat a lot. The hot and sour soap is great, spicy and very chunky with tofu, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, etc. And even if the restaurant is full, the food lines flow quickly. And the chicken wings rock. I recommend this chinese buffet and there is plenty of parking.

Just your average chinese buffet. Great price for what it is. By the time you make it back to your table after piling the food on your plate, there’s a good chance that it has cooled off a good bit. Makes it easier to eat, but doesn’t make it taste better. I will be going again, but only because it’s less than a 10-minute walk from where I love.

I came here because I had a strong craving for chinese food for about a month now, but I didnt just want take out Chinese food, I wanted all you can eat buffet style. Now this buffet was truly all you can eat. However, the food was of extremely poor quality. I mean the boy who took me out lost his appetite immediately after eating that poor excuse for rice. The spring roll I took tasted like pure dirt, I believe that was the dough they used in combination with old oil. Even the dessert tasted bad(and I love sweets). When I got close to the fruits they smelled rotten. The silverware was filthy, they serve you with forks at the table but my fork had a crusty piece of food on it like their dishwasher didn’t clean it effectively or like the dishwasher could use a tuneup. Either way somehow I stayed and stuck to the fried chicken and french fries with sweet red sauce. There were Asians smoking outside blocking customers from coming in which I felt was unprofessional, they should monitor that stuff. The waitress didn’t even wait on us, she just gave us our drinks in the beginning and left us until I had to ask her for the check, she then took our mountain of plates. I ran out of sprite and had to drink my friend’s coke(which tasted flat), she never thought to check to see if I needed another drink, or offer to remove plates after watching me go for seconds and thirds. The bathroom wasn’t the worst I’ve seen but definitely not the best. One of the stalls had a door missing and I walked in on an Asian lady who I apologized to but I don’t think she understood me. I just wanted some toilet paper to blow my nose because they were skimpy on napkins. The place was so old and run down the seats in the booths were ripping and the stuffing was coming out. The seats at the tables were mix-matched like they just took random seats from anywhere and brought them in. I’m not trying to be petty but at least look professional and have consistency. The pictures were faded and the place was so dark I was just turned off. Maybe it was dark so they could hide their filth. This place is only good if you’re a desperate college kid like me, or just wanna grab a random bite with your homies, but I will never be back because I don’t do poor quality and filth. Bottom line: I give two stars because I found some things I could eat, and hopefully I haven’t gotten sick from eating here considering this all happened today.

The price is very good for a plate. The variety doesn’t end with just traditional Chinese food. There is American food and deserts as well. Nothing runs out, and if anything is close to running out it is immediately replaced. I love going here.

Cheap, but the food was OK. One thing very disgusting I saw was, one woman who’s cleaning the dessert table just picked up the tong dropped on the floor. She wiped the tong with the mop she used to clean the table and then put the tong back to the dessert tray. So gross… I’ll never go back.

My last time here a month ago. Times do change, here not for the better. I used to eat here a lot 5 – 6 years ago with friends twice to three times a month, good solid tasty food. Tried to avoid Sundays for unsupervised kids playing in the food. Later I worked very close by, food still ok. NOW just so bad, tons of sodium lack of flavor. So bad I tried a second sample plate and really felt like there was no point continuing my attempt to prove to my friend I took that this place was EVER good. The staff now detached, on their phones, not happy, maybe they are forced to eat the food. Now it’s a fond memory and a sad reality. PASS on this place, you’ll be glad you did.

Poorly cooked food, bathroom beyond dirty. Shrimp cooked and breaded with shell still applied -.- just beyond the worst place to take family out to eat. It’s more like a place to eat with your boys

Foolproof $ 8 hangover cure. Selections expand past your typical Chinese staples with offerings of shrimp atop of the meatballs, seafood omelet, ??? baked with mayo in dough, and many others. Décor induces gagging, the music selection is modern, and the staff doesn’t care enough to kick you out, even after plate #5.

I used to come here about once every 2 weeks. The food was always fresh and hot and tasty and… then on my last visit I came(first time using the restroom) and it was extremely dirty and digusting. I equate a clean kitchen with a clean bathroom. Catch my drift? Ignoring the gross bathroom, I visited Tin Tin again and was almost trampled by the mobs of hyper-overactive kids running around, touching all the food & making a mess out of the soft serve ice cream machine. PARENTSLISTENUP– Some of us don’t have kids yet and when you don’t watch yours it makes us want to have our tubes tied. Now I only come on a weekday to avoid this circus. An extra bonus to the buffet is the endless crab ragoon. This place needs a major facelift/rennovation from Ty Pennington. Some of the seats are terribly ripped with the stuffing coming out. It’s a buffet folks… you don’t have to eat the furniture. Hungry much?
