The doors were locked during resturant hours. I had to call for them to let me in. I then made my order(1st person there) and two people were served before me. I asked for my food and then they said«I HAVETODOTHEBREADSTICKS«. I only ordered a large cheese pizza and breadsticks. Im highly dissatisfied. I didnt give any attitude either just told them to alert me when the food is ready.

The pizza is not good, very greasy and too much cheese. Will not come back here again unless the reviews start to improve. They have a deal on Sunday-Wednesday for all you can eat pizza and pasta, but I wouldn’t want to eat more than 1 piece of their pizza so it’s basically a pasta deal and the pasta is not great either, no vegetables at all, just ziti/spaghetti and sauce.

I’ve been a fan of Papa Gino’s for most of my life but this location doesn’t stand up to the Brand. I was helping my Daughter move into her apartment so we had no plates of cutlery. I thought let’s get a Papa Gino’s pizza. I told them we placed the order that we needed some paper plates in addition to our large pizza. When the order arrived 55 minutes later there were no paper plates. We thought ok, no big deal we’ll make due. When we opened the pizza we noticed that they never sliced the pizza. I called them back and told them we never got the plates or knives and the pizza had never been sliced. The man laughed and said«are too weak to break a piece off and eat it?» I asked to speak to the Manager and he said he was the Manager. I told my Daughter to make sure she order’s from Pino’s Pizza going forward and never call these guys again.

They now offer Gluten Free pizza and I have been waiting for this FOREVER! It is unbelievable! I LOVEIT! I was diagnosed later in life so I have a comparison to what the regular pizza was like and have always wished they’d go Gluten Free! They have, It’s AWESOME and I hope it is here to stay! The Udi’s crust they use is GREAT! Highly recommend it!

I bit into a pizza I ordered from this Papa Ginos with a screw in it. Yes, a metal screw with an extremely sharp pointed end, about 2 inches long, which ended up in my mouth but luckily, I did not swallow it. I reported it to corporate and they gave me a few coupons for free pizza, as if I wanted to return to order more pizza with foreign objects in it. I am an attorney and so I could have pursued this on my own behalf, but I did not have the time or energy to engage in this. Just beware, this could have caused a major injury!

Place is a joke. Took two hours for a delivery. All they kept saying was they are on their way. And driver is in traffic. Where is there traffic on a Saturday afternoon. Garbage

Walked in tonight at 6:45 to order a pizza… did not walk out with said pizza until 7:30. That is ridiculous. To make the experience a travesty, it was not until 20 minutes AFTER ordering that a staff member informed us that they did not have a major ingredient for our specialty pizza. How it could take so long to come to this conclusion is a mystery to me. After ordering a replacement pizza, it finally came out. Five minutes later, I got home to find that the pie was not cut.(Oh, I could see, just barely, the tracks where someone had lightly run the pizza cutter across the pie.) To turn make this experience both a travesty and a farce, the toppings were like a flavorless soup. The crust was limp and soggy. Papa Gino’s in general is never much better than mediocre, both more costly and slower than the other«Papas» pizza chain. This exposes this Papa Gino’s as sub-mediocre and an utter disappointment. I can understand 45 minutes for delivery, but 45 minutes for take-out… that’s inexcusable!

This place is so good. The service was kind and the pizza is so good. I used to live in this neighborhood and I have no idea why I did not frequent this place more often. And they deliver! Why didn’t I ever get delivery? What a shame. If you like pizza, stop by. They have a great lunch special where you get get two slices and a fountain drink for around $ 6.50. I will definitely have to go back again. If you haven’t, you need to… you’re messing up by not doing so. Visit Papa Gino’s! Dooooo iiiitttttttttt!

Decent pizza, great price. Really nothing special, but nothing horrible either. Tons of free tables — nice booth– but the music is too loud and the AC is making it FREEZING in here. I’d come again if I don’t have a choice

I wish they had a tip jar or a tip line on the receipt because I never carry cash, that’s how great service was. I have been there twice, both time I have been impress. Our first request walking in the door was turning down the AC and manager was great to turn it down and handle any other complains or nitpicking we did. I am impress with anyone who can handle me and my cousin but put my three year old son in the equation and that is a miracle. the cashiers and cook cater to his needs like we were in a dine in restaurant with wait staff. this child run and talk like he is a grown man, the cook spoke to him the entire time and promise him ice cream if he ate all his food he barely had a bite but he still gave it to him. He has that affect on people. After we left he wanted to go back, so he can talk to Julio some more, that’s the name of the cook by the way, Kelli was the cashier. I forgot management name unfortunately but he was wonderful both time I seen him. Now I wish I could rave about the food like I can about the staff but it’s papa Gino’s. the food is good. it’s the pizza and spaghetti you can make yourself and yes I am a fan of papa Gino’s food esp. when I don’t feel like cooking my family and I will always jump to go for papa Gino’s but I do drive from Natick to Brighton for the service. I will waste the gas money and that is saying a lot, being somewhere I feel respected, not looking down upon and at home is important and this place those that. The one on route 9 can learn something from them. Can’t wait to go back and I so want to bring them a gift card or something Julio and Kelli if you get to see this Dylan loves you guys and he will be coming back for more ice cream. Great Job. Great Customer Service and manager great example on how a place should be run.

Only come here if you have coupons. The quality of Papa Gino’s has slowly deteriorated over the years, that’s without question. The prices, on the other hand, have increased. Customer service is pretty decent here.

UGH. The other night, my boyfriend and I were starving, debated on ordering food from somewhere, couldn’t decide on where, ended up settling with this Papa Gino’s since he lives right next door. Worst. Idea. Ever. Neither of us were really in the mood for pizza, so he went with an italian sub, i went with the chicken broccoli alfredo. Both of our orders were absolutely disgusting. There was a frozen chunk of chicken in my alfredo, the broccoli was overcooked(which is pretty hard to do…) the pasta was surprisingly not overcooked or undercooked. We both agreed that it was some of the worst food we’ve both had in a long time. On the bright side, we ran over in between commercial breaks of walking dead, and didn’t miss a single second of the actual show :) Look’s like i’ll stick with Domino’s as my last minute go-to for cheap pizza.

The WORST pizza I have EVER had in my ENTIRE life. Well… maybe it’s better than DiGiorno’s, but anything is better than DiGiorno and their odd, fish-tasting crust. I was at Fenway Park and my dad got a small box of cheese pizza for $ 6.50. I only had a small portion of it, but that was all I needed to taste. The pizza had very little flavor, and somehow didn’t even SMELL good. Not to mention the fact that the pizza was burnt. Boston, you should be embarrassed. This pizza tastes about as bad as the cardboard it’s served in – probably.

Ordered online, gave an ETA of 29 minutes, delivery guy was right on time(it was like 30 minutes when he rang doorbell, gotta give the allowance for parking/walking to door). food was hot, delicious, driver offered change without prompting. everything was good.

I remember the Papa Ginos of my youth, and no Jesse it wasn’t in the f*cking 70s; among a handful of remaining stores in a large ghost town of a shopping plaza, the place was smokey, dimly lit, and loud. The clientele looked like all the muppets that didn’t make it into the movie Labyrinth. There were fun jukebox machines at every red and white checked booth, all the chairs were green and everyone always got either pizza or the ravioli… nothing else. I’ve always loved the pizza at Papa Ginos and my last experience was no different. I ordered a make your own specialty pizza, up to 6 toppings large for 15.99!!! Got meatball, garlic, onion, olive and mushroom. I just couldn’t think of a sixth topping and extra cheese wasn’t an option. I ordered it extra crispy, you have to do this with four toppings or more lest the whole thing fall apart in a wet, gooey splat. Love the crust but I like the Rustic crust better, all the toppings were tasty and generous, and the sauce has just enough tang to stand out. The buffalo tenders were just that, ultra tender. Not too bready with a good blend of heat and flavor in the buffalo sauce. And the delivery guy was here fifteen minutes early, which is horrifying if its Chinese but awesome for pizza.

This review is strictly for the customer service.(The food remains awesome and I am still inexplicably in love with it.) The service at this place is astoundingly bad. The people are inept and rude. There is one boy who looks to be about high school age that works here and seems to have his shit together. Yes, the HIGHSCHOOLER is the team’s ace. Scary. A few weeks ago I went in to place an order for a pizza. The manager and a worker were chatting over on the other side of the counter. I stand right at the counter to convey I am ready to order and make eye contact. Clearly, I am not scanning a menu or unready to order. Both the manager and the worker look at me and go back to their conversation. Like, completely turn around and continue to talk. Somehow the moron worker manages to injure herself and starts whining about her«cut finger». At this point another employee walks from another room, sees me and goes away. Moron employee runs over squealing about her finger. My thoughts go from«Uh hello?!» to «Bitch better not touch my food». Finally, after they all have a good laugh the manager lets out a long exasperated sigh, sadly glances at the pizza dough near him and comes over to me to take my order. This is so mind-boggling because there is NEVER anything going on in this place. I don’t mind waiting if a place is packed. However, I don’t want to wait because you are having an impromptu«meeting of the minds». I hope this guy gets fired. Maybe even wood fired. Just like a pizza. Order online to minimize contact with these bozos.(Also, Google coupon codes.)

Several years ago, there were a couple of Papa Gino’s that served up a great meatball sub. Well, unfortunately, all the Papa’s now serve mediocre meatball subs.

I grew up going to Papa Gino’s and I love their pizza, which is in the same vein as Pizzeria Regina(but cheaper): thin crust(but not so thin it’s crispy), the right amount of sauce, and, importantly, not as much oil and cheese as you’d get with Greek-style pizza or say, Pizza Hut. And this modern(and like other reviewers attest, clean) Papa’s serves up great pizza. Great subs too. It’s just… it takes awhile. A LONG while. I work across the street so I get lunch here regularly, and it’s not an exaggeration to say that 1 out of every 3 times something goes awry. Either the order is wrong, or they give my order to someone else, and have to cook mine all over again, or – this happened 2 weeks ago — my order is forgotten in the oven. The crew is super friendly and very good about making up for their mistakes(I received a coupon for a free lunch after that mishap) but they’re not exactly a well-oiled machine. I’ve called in a lunch order, walked over to pick it up after 15 minutes, been told it’s not ready… and then waited there for 10 more minutes before someone realized that my sub had been sitting in the heat warmer the whole time. That said, if you stick with the standard express lunch options you’re fine. And the pizza’s great.

Papa Gino’s has been my favorite pizza place since I was a little kid. The recipe of the cheese pizza so delicious. The blend of cheeses, the sauce(just enough, not too much), the thin crust(crispy, not floppy)… it just doesn’t get much better! I rarely eat their other food. Gino is my pizza papa. I do love their steak and cheese sub though! The bread is really fresh and tasty, and the meat is good. No sketchy patches like in some steak and cheeses. I have also heard good things about the chicken parm sub. Same yummy roll. Oh, and there mozzarella sticks are thick and juicy! I definitely agree that the restaurant is clean, but sometimes the staff has issues. Depends who you get. I recommend eating in so you can make use of the Frank’s Red Hot, parmesan cheese shaker, and red pepper flakes. If you use those. Or just enjoy the pizza as is, cuz it’s perfect all on it’s own.

2 words: lunch specials. It’s PG’s… there’s no need for a review of the food. It’s good for the price. But this location is always super clean. The staff… usually on their toes, but there are days they’re slow.
