This Kmart is really close to where I live. It makes it really convenient to swing in & pick up anything that is needed. Food, stuff for pets, birthday gifts, etc. Other than that, the only other places close are Big Lots and a few little places in that strip mall. The customer service is not very good, but they have an awesome selection of shoes, clothes, toys, etc and that is what keeps taking me back there. I go at least once a month to even a few times a month. Just found out yesterday that they are closing. A little bummed as this is where I buy most of my kids clothes as they are always 30−50% off with sale flyer prices… just different brands each week. But since they have announced that they are closing, their prices have actually gone up. Just beware. Winter jackets that have been 50% off tag price for weeks are only 20% off now. I checked to see if there was a sale flyer this week, and there is not. Not sure if all of the kmart stores are closing, or just a handful of them.

…I’m trying to think under what conditions anyone might give this location a Good review. The managers are awful, making mountains of molehills and vice versa, the electronics section is a ghost town and whomever stocks shelves behaves like they are on Parole or they purposely don’t speak English. The bathrooms are in worse condition than most stadium porti-potties after 10000 people have used em. Back in 2007, we bought juice for our kids. We didn’t notice the expiration on the bottle: Use by 2003. There’s usually no one in there except a few bilingual teenage stockers, talking among themselves, or a woman behind the Returns Desk going out of her way to remain preoccupied. When there Is a line, they almost never add a cashier to their 1 or two open lanes. When they can plainly see a person with 1 or 2 small items vs the Bilingual crowd buying up isles 21 and 24, they don’t offer to process the smaller order at another register. Ever. Not. Good. That side of town Needs a convenience store and a postal drop, west of the rail road tracks. The parking lot has been in ruin since the 80s, and there seems to be no hurry to fix it.

Though this store is small, there is a large selection of products inside. It’s never really crowded and the prices are reasonable for the most part. They always have plenty of gardening supplies and cute outdoor furniture and decorations during the spring and summer months. There is also a wide variety of children’s toys to choose from at pretty good prices as well as certain food items. There’s a wide variety of products to choose from, the prices are decent, the store is never crowded and the staff is usually helpful.
