One of the best Thai restaurants in the area and even in greater Chicago. Authentic taste in a cozy environment. My favorites are the Thai egg rolls, green curry, and pad see ewe. Service is great too!

I’m sad to say… Sam is gone. Months ago(because we were regulars) he told us him and his wife were selling the business because he felt it was time to retire but that it wouldnt be for a while but he wanted us to know. For those of us who go all the time we have seen the transition slowly… the new cooks were there from time to time but last night when I walked in it hit me in the face. New menus, new decorations, a waitress I’ve never seen before. I’ll say this… the food was decent and Sam told me he was going to train the new owners so everything would be the same but it wasn’t. The Panang curry is completely different and so is the Pad Thai. Over the years I have ordered everything on the menu. When I ordered it super hot the waitress didn’t even know what I was talking about. Thank God I brought beer with me to ease the pain.

I am vegetarian. Its very hard to find soup that isn’t cooked with chicken broth. I found this place on Unilocal over two years ago and have been coming back ever since. I order the tom yum noodle soup with veggies, spicy. Spice level always varies so be very specific if you want it a certain way. Prices are dirt cheap and portions are very generous! Its a nice mom and pop place. They cook everything fresh right in the back. Have a try for yourself.

Owners were very kind and food was delicious! It was my first time here and I enjoyed it a lot. I don’t live in the area, but if I find myself here again I would definitely return.

Since we love thai food, decided to try out this place on a Sunday evening. Enviroment calm and home like feel with thai accents. Older gentelman greeted us warmly. Started out with hot tea to warm us up Tom Kha soup with shrimp, coconut base full pallet of sweet and sour flavors, very delicious and good to share for up to 4people.(Suggest eating most of the broth with meat, herbs might be a little hard to chew) Entrees Dinner special Mongolian beef with steamed white rice and Pad Thai noodles with shrimp and squid, my personal favorite dish and it was amazing. Highly recommending this place, simple and delicious thai food with very warm atmosphere!

I love their pad thai. Very nice owners. Not a big place so there isn’t much seating. But don’t let that deter you from trying their delicious food.

Super authentic and delicious. A cute little hole In the wall. The owner is so sweet and personable. They currently don’t offer the papaya salad nor the mango sticky rice but the owner said they intend to in the near future. Prices are very reasonable as well. The pad Thai and Musaman curry were amazing with just the right amount of spice and flavor without being overwhelmingly greasy or spicy. A must try!

Exceptionally GREATTASTE I was referred by a friend to visit this place. I am from the far NW suburbs and so I am a little out of my element in Bridgeview. When I walked into the place I was very skeptical but that was all about to end We ordered egg rolls to start. They were very good but it wasn’t until our entrée’s came did the Wow factor come into play I ordered the Mongolian beef(I figured we would try run of the mill since we were so skeptical) The other entrée was cashew chicken, ordered with the same frame of mind Both were ordered medium spicy All I can say is that the taste and quality of preparation of the vegetables and spices were the best I have tasted in many years. I heartily recommend this place I endorse it I urge you to try it

I’ve eaten here multiple times within a two week span. Yeah its that good. Everything I had on the menu was top notch. Not cheap but worth it I wish more meat was given, but it is not a deal breaker for me. Dont let the design fool you you are in for a treat. spicy garlic shrimp, thai rolls, crab ragoon(OMG), shrimp fried rice, red curry, panang curry, pao khing curry ALL worth trying! Can’t complain with the quality and taste of the food! My favorite food near home.

This place has the best Thai foods, hands down… in the sothwest side! The couple that run this place are so awesome, they were meant to have this place for us. The wait can be a little overbearing if it gets full, but only because it is the two of them. She cooks and he takes care of everything outside the kitchen.

Really enjoyed our evening here a couple weeks ago. The food is good. The atmosphere is decent. What I really thought was excellent was the service. We came with our daughter who is the most finicky human on the planet. Thai food for the finicky is difficult. But the man who served us was extremely accommodating with her. Basically we needed the plainest possible food. While we ate our pad Thai, curry, satay, etc., she ate plain white rice, super white and plain boiled chicken, and peas. And eat she did! It also wasn’t expensive, and we all left satisfied. I understand that five stars puts this place on par with the greatest restaurants on the planet. I am a realistic person, but I am rating our single experience at this location. We left happy, and our daughter ate!!! That’s five in my book.

I Love this little restaurant! You feel welcomed when you come in, the owners greet you and are very kind. My favorite dish is the Pad See Ew, the noodles are delicious. When I don’t have time to dine in I get the Thai Tea and an Eggroll. Best eggrolls I have ever had! I also like the little grocery store here, it’s convenient and the prices are reasonable. I’ve been coming here for many years and I will continue to do so for many more.

What a relief to have an amazing Thai restaurant in this very same spot as the old Bahn Thai. Sam the owner came out and we had a wonderful chat. His wife is 80 years old and an amazing cook — she is in the back producing real authentic Thai dishes — no bull, no fluff — FOOD. This is not«that» Americanized Thai restaurant — when they say hot — it means HOT!!! — LOVE. The Panang Curry was through the roof awesome. This is it! This is the new go to Thai restaurant in Chicago for us.

Yo, yo, yo! This was our second visit, and I felt a need to communicate on what makes this place fantastic. — First, if you come at night, GPS that ish… their lights do not illuminate the sign…(I passed it like a dummy both times that we came… even after knowing the address.) Rest assured, they ARE open! — There is a thai grocery store next door/conjoined. Cash only there, so save up your dollar bills that you’d been planning on using for polekatz and come get you some curry paste and some spices that you can’t pronounce/identify. — This is a small, cozy, Mom and pop joint. I would not recommend more than a party of five, at the max. BYOB if you’re an alkie, or just go without for an hour(ya damned alkie) and settle in with a thai iced coffee. — Nice homemade type of flavor here. They have a nice ‘transition’ type of menu for peeps that might not be familiar with Thai food. You can get regular, stir-fry food that’s not doused in curry.(Why would anyone want that?!) It makes me confident that I can bring my Mother/Mother-in-law without them running for the door at the first sight of something that’s not portillos or mexican food. So, in summary, if you’re content with a small Mom’n’Pop type of Thai joint for great homemade flavors on the souuuuuth side, come here! And unlike their grocery neighbor, they DO accept credit!
