Super 8 Brenham

We’ve stayed here several times. The first time we stayed was when they first opened. There has definitely been a decline in the esthetics. The carpet is now looking really patchy and it has lost its fresh appeal. There were stains on the office chair. Weird. In the bathroom, the soap was really thin and broke after one washing of the hands. The towels could’ve been a bit thicker not thin like the free gym towels at 24 hour fitness. Breakfast was quaint and well stocked. Service was quick and friendly. Gym. I didn’t use the gym, but felt compelled to check on their condition. Both treadmills worked and the recumbent bike did, too. It doesn’t look like it gets much use. They did have a container of water with plastic cups available.

Horrible customer service!!! I’m trying to check in and she is on her cellphone chatting with her hubby! Two story hotel and NO elevator!!! This is the most ridiculous thing ever when you have bags that you have to carry upstairs. We were sitting in the lobby at 11 pm and they told us we had to leave because the lobby was closed. Toilet took forever to fill, shower wall was filthy… I feeling like screaming. I am never ever staying here again.

This has to be the worse motel I have ever stayed at. I checked in on 6÷13÷2015 and I was asked to check out after I was told I couldn’t get a refund. Anyways to my review first off there is only one way in and out and it makes me feel like they want to know who is coming in and out and when you go to the pool you can go out but you have to walk back to the front to get back in. When I got to my room I noticed that the carpet was wet come to find out the fridge was leaking I went to the front to report it and I was told they only had a queen size and I needed a double bed because I had my children. My in Laws also had a room booked and when they got to their room there was other peoples belonging in the room so obviously they gave them a key to someone else’s room. I even asked them to give me a discount and I would stay instead they told me to get my things and leave.

value here is very good for the price. Pleasant service, polarizing difference from super 8s in other parts of the country.
There is a gym but at the time of this writing, the weight machine, bycycle and running machine are all broken.
All rooms have inside entrances which is nice. There is a pool around back. Good continental breakfast.

After spending $ 289 per room in Houston, paying $ 69 per room here was a pleasant change. The Hampton Inn (my only Hilton partner choice) was sold out. Clean room and the a/​c worked. A safe bet but nothing special. Free wifi, continental breakfast, decent sized rooms. No elevator, stanky smokey smelling hallway were the negatives.

We stayed for 2 nights, it was an OK stay, all I can say was there was some good and bad points to this hotel. When we tried to check in the lady at the front desk was on the phone with the police, trying to get a guest evicted. This of course made us feel uncomfortable, but I don’t hold the hotel responsible, she was just doing her job. So here is the good and the bad.
Good; clean room, reasonable rates, comfortable bed, free parking, free WiFi, friendly and helpful front desk staff. Now for the bad.
Bad; the toilet didn’t flush in our first room and in the second room some of the lights didn’t work (but we could live with that), the up stairs hallway smelled like cigarette smoke, no elevator, the breakfast was so so and the water in the outdoor pool was warm and full of debris.
Overall the good out weighed the bad. We may give this place a second chance if we are ever back in the area.

Wow! You get a well-​maintained, decent, quiet room with a comfy bed, cold a/​c, nice pool and hot tub for an economical price! Can’t believe we found this steal!
There are no elevators, but it’s only 2 floors and the kids loved using the stairs! Easy to find location right off of 290. Close to local dining.
Will definitely be back next time we come to Brenham!

This motel is not a ‘4 star/​four seasons’ type hotel, however, for the price and comfort, and cleanliness, it is very nice! The room and bath are large, clean and well appropriated with a fridge, microwave, desk, plenty of lighting and a good sized flat screen tv. The beds are comfortable, which is great, and the air conditioner runs cold; Staff is friendly, grounds are clean and manicured and free breakfast. Can’t ask for more…

Clean, quiet, friendly, and inexpensive. $ 10 – 20 for a dog. King jacuzzi room!

Wonderful hotel, brand new facility. Very nice and clean, too.
