Missy of Moose Feathers Florist was one of my top wedding vendors. She made my bouquet, the bridal party boutonnieres, and corsages for the moms. From the start, I was impressed by her design skills from reviewing her portfolio and seeing her work featured in other Brenham weddings. Her communication is excellent via email, which was great for a working bride — it can be tough when someone is only available during business hours M-R and working events F-Sat and closed on Sunday — she never took more than about a day to get back to me. Her contract was clearly written and I knew what to expect, and she was always quick to update an invoice for me or to add a particular bloom to my file. I asked for ranunculus, peony if available, David Austen rose, and white anemones, and sent her a few pictures of inspiration and described the look I was going for. When I saw my bouquet, I was so impressed! The other fillers and blooms she chose were just perfect, and the colors and size were right on. The boutonnieres matched very well and weren’t your typical rose-with-baby’s-breath prom combos. I was also so grateful that she took on our wedding(a small order) because she had another wedding booked that weekend. Our coordinator picked up the order and everything went smoothly(I had paid off the flowers the week before as required). Finally, I thought her pricing was quite fair and competitive with other florists in the area. I especially think it was wonderful given we didn’t exactly use inexpensive blooms… David Austen roses can be $ 75 pack 12 and that’s a wholesale price! I would highly recommend her for weddings; she’s experienced, professional, so creative, and you can trust your vision to her!
