Ordered the crab dip. It was watery, with a soup like consistency. It was so bad we sent it back. Also contained bacon, which the menu did not mention. We ordered pizza, which was listed as thin and crispy on the menu. It arrived as hand tossed, and barely cooked. Dough was rubbery and the cheese was not melted in some areas. Mediocre food, at best.

It’s a beachside/tourist area restaurant that happens to have amazing drinks, service and atmosphere. The music can, at times, be loud — especially if you’re staying across the street. Having said that, it’s an amazing place to park and take in the Historic district of BB.

Would really like to rate this nice restaurant higher but can’t –we had the margarita pizza and grouper tacos — really liked the tacos, but they added too much mango — had to remove the mango — overpowered the good taste of the grouper. The pizza was a Stone oven pizza but the crust was way too thick –hardly stone oven — too bad — may give it another try

We went to dinner tonight(large group of 6 adults and 2 children) — and we cannot say enough great things about this place! It was amazing!!! The staff, service and food was outstanding. We had wings, pizza, grouper(dinner and tacos), fish and tots and steak… all was wonderful. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating… they brought toys and blankets(it was a bit chilly) for the kids. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Visited here on Saturday night. The male bartender did not seem like he wanted to be there at all. Ordered the sampler appetizer. cheese sticks were ok, wings not too bad(very bland sauce), and chicken tenders were horrible. Only thing that made the visit worthwhile was the drunk old lady who peed herself

Stopped for a beer and an appetizer. Service was good, ambiance was there but being in the industry when my appetizer came out which was hot and cooked right I could tell this was from a very low quality vender. I’ve had better from the frozen food section of Save a Lot(see save a lot review) This may or may not keep me from trying something else but for now review stays at 2 stars. Local word is that pizza is really good here. Beware the cheap vender possibly though.

We went there last night for dinner. We had crab cakes as an appetizer and pizza as our dinner, both were fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive. It’s definitely one of or favorites now.

Food was mediocre, the menu lacked many things including vegetarian options. One member of our party had their order messed up, so they sent it back to have it fixed. It took 30 mins for them to get the food back out, by that time everyone had finished their food and her food came back out warm at best. When confronted and asked to cancel the order the waiter got defensive and stand off-ish and tried to pass it off as joking. This is our second time at the Freckled Fin and the first time the waiter was slow and uninformative as well. The atmosphere is that of a head shop or possibly a gypsies trailer. My family was here visiting and I will not be returning. So much potential for a great small location. The waiter explained to us that they are going through some troubles, only being open for 8 months and being the first season. This does not discount the rudeness. A complete overhaul of at least customer service needs to be done. I am giving two stars because the manager did comp the item.

STopped in for lunch, very cute atmosphere inside and out and a good location on bridge street… Had a nice chicken salad entrée and service was good, not too busy on a cooler Florida day so we were able to chat a bit and relax without feeling pressured. There is a separate bar area and they have live music in the evenings, definitely good for groups and families. Check out the bathroom, very welcoming and spa-like!

Food is mediocre at best. We shared a watery crab dip, a huge salad(spring mix, raw broccoli, raw asparagus and raw squash) and a grouper sandwich. Bun was regular holsum brand and was falling apart. And seriously who wants tator tots instead of French fries? Especially when you’re serving sea food. Also, food came out so quickly. That can be a red flag for me. Service was very attentive. Live music was excellent and there’s room to dance. This place is better as a drinks and music place. The restaurant aspect is less than subpar.

Amazing pizza!!! Had a margarita pizza with pineapple added just for Florida fun and am so psyched to have leftovers bc I can’t wait to eat it again! A waitstaff also told us the grouper tacos are great so next time will try those.

The Freckled Fin has redeemed themselves. Must have been a bad night before. My wife and I returned and had a great time. Great Beer, Service and Music!

Relatively new place(?) right on Bridge St. And Gulf Drive, great setting and nice atmosphere. Had a couple margaritas, Crab Dip and Tater Tot basket for appetizers. Ordered the«One-of-a-Kind» Crab Meat Pizza for entrée. The food was good, not outstanding but a solid 3 to 3−½ stars. The service was ambitious, had a trainer and trainee serving us(really would have been more than enough if we just had the one, the trainee). The one training was a bit overbearing and opinionated for me but overall a decent spot to unwind.

I’m giving this place 3 stars. The food was pretty nasty and our waitress was terrible. It took her a pretty long time to walk from our table to the bar, which was located about 5 steps from our table, to get us beer. When I walked to the bathroom I found her on her cell phone at the hostess stand which bothered me. She also continued asking us if we were ready for the check and if we could pay our tab. We were clearly enjoying our beers and listening to the music of Eric Von. We felt rushed the entire meal. We did enjoy the outdoor music and company but the food and service are definitely reasons we will not be returning.

This is a fun place to be for dinner and drinks. We came here after dinner for a drink before the end of the night. I love the location since it is right on Bridge St. on the corner. I also love that it’s dog friendly. The uniforms are cute. They are mermaid shorts. It is cool for the girls, but the guys sport them the best of course. I wish I could have taken a pic of them. I ordered a Mai Tai while after my friend tried the wine she didn’t like, she then ordered a club soda and vodka(gross but she loves it, so whatever makes her happy, makes me happy) They have bands here at night around 6−10pm. I’ll be back next time I’m here to try their dinner! I’m sure it’s as great as this place!

An interesting place a lot different then other bar restaurants on the Island. We went here for drinks on a Friday night. This place was busy inside and out! We grabbed some drinks at the bar and headed outside to sit on the patio. The ambiance of the restaurant was modern and very up and coming. It was a classy place for late night drinks and trendy. The drinks were reasonable and the service was on point even though it was busy. I would go back sometime when it wasn’t so busy to try some of the food. The bathroom had a very homey feel to it with candles burning and the décor they had.

This was our first stop when we hit Bradenton for our beach weekend. it was national piña colada day so of course we all had to partake. i also had some coconut shrimp and lobster pizza. both were really good. my friend had their specialty cinnamon sugar tater tots and really enjoyed them. our server was fun and really rolled with the punches, as our group can get a little silly when weve been drinking. overall great meal to kick off our trip!

My husband and I ate lunch here wile staying on Anna Maria Island. I had a $ 5 burger special and a side of tator tots for $ 3. The side order of tots could have easily fed 4 – 5 people! My husband got the beef hot dogs and it also came with tots. The food was good but not something to go crazy about. I am not jumping to go back. However, the interior decorations were my favorite. Bright blue wall with pops of orange and coral. Tons of mermaids and beachy decorations that just made you smile!

We were greeted by a wonderful hostess by the name if Fin. She promptly seated us and we started what became a great experience. Robbie the bar tender was very knowledgeable on the different styles of beer that was on tap. He was also ready to answer any questions regarding the liquor which are all great choices. We ordered our food from a menu that was not lacking in choice but it wasn’t over the top. Just enough to please everyone. All of the staff were very friendly and treated us as if we were regulars. Speaking of the regulars, they were friendly and very conversational. I highly recommend The Freckled Fin to everyone that is out on the island. Enjoy
