I am done with this location. I have ordered double cheese, double pepperoni… there was hardly cheese and there was no double pepperoni… today’s pizza was really the worst pizza I have ever had… told them again and again… please make sure it is double cheese and pepperoni… they must be deaf… I am sick of eating dough… pizza has cheese… oh dough. this location is no good… Dominoes on lanham severn road is the best… one star is too much…

This place is take out and delivery only– no eating in. We’ve done both at least 30 times since moving to Bowie 2 years ago and there have only been minor mistakes. We usually request square cut and maybe 1 out of ten times they give us normal cut. But it’s not a big deal to us. The pizzas are hella good, because they really do use better ingredients– ones you can pronounce. One of my kids has terrible reactions to artificial colors and flavors, and petroleum-based preservatives and Papa John’s original crust(NOT thin) is safe for him as well as many of the toppings. I hope they add more toppings and sauces that my kids can have. Pizzas are delivered hot. Delivery people have always been courteous. In-store people have always been courteous. Pro tip: use their online app and earn rewards points. When you earn 25 points you get a free 2 topping pizza! We’ve probably gotten 6 free pizzas like that. Mmm-hmm.

I love Papa Johns and they typically have great pizza and customer service; however, I’m not too sure I will be ordering from this particular location again. I ordered using the online app and received the confirmation email. About an hour later, a knock and its Papa Johns… the soda I ordered was not included. ‘We’re out’ the delivery guy said. Ok, that’s fine, call me and ask if there is a replacement or if I’d like a refund to my card. I paid using credit and he hands me a few dollars saying this will cover the soda. Once I brought the pizza and wings in, everything is ROOMTEMPERATURE bordering cold. The cheese was actually solidified like it had been sitting for a while. I checked the time stamp on the pizza box and it matched that from the confirmation email; however, the receipt listed a different time and it was 20 minutes after the confirmation email and almost 30 minutes prior to the time of the arrival of the food. The time listed was probably when the driver left the restaurant. I only live 5 minutes(3 stop signs and no traffic lights) from this location so there is really no excuse why it took 30 minutes to deliver a pizza and wings. Yes Papa Johns has a 100% satisfaction guarantee but I didn’t even bother calling, wasn’t worth waiting another hour… like I said, I won’t be ordering from the Fairwood location in the near future.

I’ve never been in a papa johns that has better service. I had interaction with 2 people and they were great. Proactive and nice. Oh, the pizza was excellent too!

Generally, I love Papa John’s pizza. Generally, this particular location(which is closest to my house) makes a great pizza and it’s always ready when I drive by to pick it up. — I never do delivery anymore. I don’t want to wait the hour or so before it shows up at the door and I’mm too cheap to tip. I got a pizza just recently, though, that was none too good. The cheeses and sauce and toppings were running off the crust and it was very sloppy and messy to eat. The slicing didn’t make it all the way through the crust so I had to break out the steak knife to cut it. I know they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee but let’s be real. By the time you get it home or by the time it gets delivered to your home, very few people are going to send it back so Papa John’s can«get it right». Still like Papa John’s and would have gone 4 stars but they screwed up my last pizza.

This Papa Johns continually performs well. Every pizza I’ve ordered has arrived earlier than anticipated and hot. The delivery people are always very friendly and courteous. Here’s to hoping the trend continues…
