Beer was OK a bit pricey for brewing their own beer. Liked that they had Sanchos taco truck outside.

Upslope has solid standards and this location has a nice variety of special rotations. Small outdoor patio. Occasional music and hit or miss food trucks. Top of the list for a crawl of Boulder breweries.

Hard for a brewery to score above average with me, but it easy to see why Upslope is growing so fast! Great selection of beers that includes all the standard American offerings as well as a bunch of specialty tweaked recipes and even a sour or two. I forget the name, but the plantain tropical stout was off the hook! Didn’t get to try the peanut butter porter, but given the other taps it was easy to see why it was sold out. Build your own taster tray which was great for me, although I would like to try them all(I just don’t have that much alcohol capacity anymore) Friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff that was quick to serve up an extra splash of this or that to compare or converse over. Overall a fun place with a big patio and comfortable atmosphere. The only food offering was empanadas of various flavors. They looked great, and priced right I just wasn’t hungry. I think they also have food trucks. I’ll be back and you should make this a definite stop on your Boulder brew tour. The liquor store carries only a small part of Upslopes offerings.

Good beer, pleasant and attentive staff, and a dog-friendly indoor/outdoor space. Upslope’s Flatiron tap room delivers to my triad of brewery needs. Their beer menu is varied and offers something for everyone(including that picky friend whose«I don’t like ____» list far exceeds their«I like ____» list). For snacking, they offer a variety of empanadas to go with your brewskies, which is a fun twist on bar food. Often there are food trucks outside too. The space is modern and inviting. I love that you can see the fermentation room through the big windows behind the bar. Bring your dog, inside or out, and surely there will be others with furry companions too.

I always enjoy going to Upslope because it’s quite close to my work and they have delicious beer! Service is always quick at the bar or at your table, while the beer selection is vast. The patio is a perfect place to kick back and relax after work. There are often food trucks or food stands outside when the weather is nice. Yesterday I tried their sour beer, which was dark and full of flavor. I also really love their Blood Orange Saison, but it’s a fall/winter beer unfortunately. Additionally, they have a small food menu with empanadas and a few other things. I haven’t tried their food yet but will next time I’m hungry and having a beer!

Upslope is probably my favorite brewery of all(and that’s a really tough decision to make!). I first visited the Lee Hill taproom in the summer of 2009(before I lived in Colorado) and immediately fell in love with the beer. The Flat Iron Park taproom is closer to my house, so we usually go there– but both taprooms are great in different ways. Flat Iron Park has up to 24 beers on tap, and the staff is great about letting you sample and giving descriptions for each beer. I rarely find a beer I don’t like here, but their IPA is one of my favorites. Upslope has great events too– so much sure you ‘like’ their Facebook page to find out when they have events! I’ve been to several beer pairing dinners there, which have been some of the most fun and delicious dining experiences I’ve had. The Upslope Get Down Jam is always a SUPER fun time — be sure to attend it every May!

This brewery is nice because it is very laid back which gives it at home type atmosphere. You can taste any of the many brewed beers they make on site! The help is very knowledgable about the different type brews. Stop on in for a education on a local Brewery and a good time.

The beer is amazing, the empanadas were spot on, the bartender was a breath of fresh air, and even our dogs enjoy the nice cold brew water bowls ;) The Blood Orange Saison by Upslode is my favorite beer, even compared to Breweries like Dogfish Head and New Belgium! I can’t wait for the seasonal return of it!

Great beer, beautiful atmosphere. Extremely friendly people. Came here with a local microbrewery meetup group. We had a great time. This is the third brewery I’ve been to since moving here a few weeks ago and is certainly the best so far! Try the Nitro Golden Sweet Stout(I may have the name slightly wrong).

Love these guys and their beer! But the anniversary party sucks. Huge lines for everything, employees are frazeled, under pour of beer, just not a good experience for those of us that support your business thru the year. I won’t be back! Do something nice for us, your patrons or we will find a brewery that appreciates us.

This brewery wasn’t bad, the sour I had was fairly decent. The layout of the place was awkward to me, and our large group was lucky enough to get in at the bar area. Service was okay but a bit hard to get a drink unless you are a regular. Overall it’s worth trying out.

Attentive and knowledgeable staff and great beer selection. You can’t go wrong with the Thai IPA and Oatmeal Stout, but I was pretty disappointed with the Jalapeño Lager. Was anticipating a mild jalapeño flavor but this was FIRE; still good nonetheless. The empanadas are dangerously delicious.

Ive always loved Upslope beers, but I had never been to their tap room. I really enjoyed the easy vibe, The beers were mostly their standard beers, with a few different takes on those same beers(Ozo Brown). The service was really great too! They mixed a few beers for me to taste, which was really cool!

Great taproom. The beers are wonderful. The OZO Brown(brewed with nextdoor’s OZO coffee) is SO delicious. Seriously, I think I just found my new morning beverage. We also tried the Peach & Apricot which was excellent and the Hopped Saison was good too. The White was not bad, but it did not have the flavor pop of its other companions. The taproom is new and pretty large, though kind of in the middle of nowhere. They sell empanadas, but that’s it for food. The menu doesn’t say it, but you can request a flight of any of the beers and the pours range from $ 1.50 — $ 4.00, I think.

Dog friendly, kid friendly, mellow during the daytime for us quieter folk and hoppin during the evening for the socializers. The beer is consistently tasty — I highly recommend the Manhatten if they still have it, the dry hopped Thai IPA and my favorite, the jalapeño lager, which changes heat depending on the can. But I always try every new beer and have never been let down. Don’t waste the experience by getting something you can get in a can from the booze mart, their taproom only beers are worth the visit. They host a myriad of great events that I’ve attended as well(climbing video screenings, beer and chocolate pairings) and also do charity pints for the people and sponsor many local events. It’s always nice to see a brewery involved in it’s community. There is always parking for the taproom as they are located in a business district, which is wonderful, but they’re ridiculously easy to bike to — they are very close to the bike path! They don’t make their food in house but the guys who do their food orders are the same from the old Avery taproom, and they’re delicious. The sweet potato green chile tots are my go to. A lot of food trucks post up here too if you ever want a change in flavor. All in all a great place, and my go to taproom!

We stopped in for some quick tasters, and we were thoroughly impressed by each one we tried. We chose their blood orange saison, Ozo coffee brown ale, imperial IPA, and barrel aged stout, and I could have went for a pint of each of them. Their wide beer selection, from lagers to IPAs to saisons to barrel aged stouts to sours, shows their versatility and creativity. The taproom is surprisingly larger than expected, and I like the viewing windows into the brewing area. I wish we’d had more time to try more of what they have to offer, but we’ll definitely stop back in next time we visit Boulder!

A wide selection of beers. You can watch them brewing them while you’re sitting at the bar. Really cool experience. The staff and atmosphere are great. Tried the thai IPA and the plum rye saison. Also the jalapeño lager. It was SUPER spicy! But delicious to pass around.

Absolutely love that Upslope is the scenario for the once-a-month Lingua Rodeo poetry reading! At first I wasn’t so sure how it would be… a poetry reading at a trendy minimalist brewpub in the Central Ave. business district… but it was really very pleasant. I was the first to arrive; and although initially I felt kind of old and out of place when I walked in, the bartender was very welcoming even though I don’t drink alcohol. They have some homemade soda pop including the innovative and tasty Prickly Pear, and the soda is tasty. For coffee they encouraged me to go next-door to Ozo, which I didn’t ever get around to doing. Later after the reading started my friends and I ordered a pizza from somewhere that delivers to Upslope’s location. It’s nice that they let people order delivery food while there. I can’t emphasize enough how excellent the service was and how welcome I felt despite not being one of their typical clientele. Also, it was fun to stand by the big picture window and watch the goings-on in the brewing room. Looking forward to Lingua Rodeo at the Upslope Brewery next month…
