SIP is awesome. i live pretty close and was one of the people they came up to to sign the petition to allow them a bar in their location. well. they didn’t disappoint. great beer selection and a really good wine selection they even have coffee and snacks! i agree its a tad overpriced but it won’t stop me from going here after work, it’ll just stop me from going here all the time. haha i wish they had some more food, they do offer nachos and some finger foods but some actual dinner food would be a great addition.

we love SIP. we dig SIP… SIP is A-Okay we’ve been going to SIP since it opened… what is not okay is when you go into the bar sit there for 10 minutes and don’t get waited on. whats not okay is when you order a beer and its poured incorrectly, beer all over the glass. not even to the top and way to much foam. for 5+ dollars a beer i expect to be poured just about perfect. the two young girls that used to work at SIP knew how to be a bartender. the older brown haired woman(NOT the owner). not so much… I guess we just were used to a certain level of service and when you don’t get it, its kind of irritating. that being said… the beer selection they have is VERY good. the Wine. also very good. whomever picked the wine out. knows wine. the other problem… Beer is way over priced… 5.00 a beer ATHAPPYHOUR??? what the… i’ll keep coming back just because i love this neighborhood corner bar. but i’ll be day dreaming of how this place used to be.

Great place to relax on a sunny day. Calm atmosphere, great view of the Flatirons from the patio. I recommend the cracker and goat cheese platter with a nice red wine. The pesto chicken and cheese panini is also excellent.

Great place to sit and read in a(mostly) quiet environment! It becomes noisy after 6 pm-ish, but that is to be expected.

Great little neighborhood bar with nice wine and beer selection. Nice patio is sheltered from the road behind a wall.

Pleasant little spot within walking distance of the CU campus, with rotating draughts and wines as well as some snacks. Their happy hour runs later than many in town(6:30), the staff is pleasant enough, and the space works(intimate but not too tight). It’s a perfectly acceptable neighborhood bar with no particularly glaring weaknesses but no noteworthy strengths, either.

SiP is by far my new favorite wine bar in Boulder! Jamey, the owner, is so nice. He let us try wines to make sure we liked them before we ordered which is really good for me, because I’m super picky about wine. He even turned me on to wines from CA, which I traditionally dislike. The place is small but really cozy and it has a great atmosphere! And the happy hour prices are just right. We didn’t try any of the beers but a lot of people were drinking them, and from what I saw of the taps SiP offers a good selection of pretty high quality beers. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because it will definitely be my new go to wine bar!

Small but not overcrowded. They were able to accommodate a large group when we called ahead, which was awesome. Very knowledgeable staff and great local beers.

I love Sip! The owner is always very accommodating and outgoing. I love the rotating taps as well as the bloodies! The atmosphere is pretty chill — usually filled with grad students or young professionals. Sip is my first consideration when I have guests visiting or just a random night when I want someone to talk to.

Exactly what east of campus needs! Small and intimate but a place where locals can have a fun with an inviting atmosphere. No hard booze helps get rid of the one and done college kids yet crafty with creative cocktails(non booZe). For those who want a great local place east of campus to have a drink your in the right place. Jaime works hard for the money!

Great little bar. Super friendly staff, nice vibe. I really liked their cider on tap; it’s hard to find great cider on tap outside the UK! I’ll be back!

I love this place. The owners are friendly, the wine and beer are choice, and the whole crowd is easygoing and game to chat. I wish it were a bit bigger, but that’s because I selfishly want elbow room on busy nights. By far the busiest times are around dinner, and you can usually get a seat easily early in the week — by the weekend, they tend to be packed with revelers. The food is excellent, too! Mostly bites, but you could easily eat enough for a meal here without breaking the bank.

SiP is one of my favorite spots in Boulder. The owners are two of the friendliest people I’ve ever met and the service couldn’t be better. It’s a great spot to stop and have a coffee or drink with friends. The flatbread pizzas are fantastic as well! SiP has a fun, laid back atmosphere that is perfect for just about every occasion. I highly recommend to anyone nearby!

The first time I went here, I was in line behind 2 people and had to wait half an hour for my coffee. As I was paying, I wanted a snack and was about to buy some of the banana bread they had on display until I noticed it was moldy. The second time I went, it was completely dead and I was the only customer. I had to wait 10 minutes for my drink and the barista/bartender forgot to give me my change. Not sure I need to go back here — VERY slow service, mediocre coffee, and the prices are high.

SiP has become my favorite coffee shop since moving to Boulder I can swing by in the morning and pick up a latte, stop in on my way home for a beer, wine, or flat bread pizza, and I’m always met with a smile and great service. It’s a great place to chill out and read a book, hang out with friends, meet other local folks, or just chat with the staff. Their taps are 25% nitrous so the beer is always smooth and the food is all freshly made.
