Ordered a grilled cheese, fries, and veggie burger for delivery for the family. Delivery took 1.5 hours but we just wanted a late night snack so we didn’t mind and it’s Friday night so I expected that. However, the food was extremely cold. The grilled cheese bread was soggy and the cheese was hardened. The veggie burger was cold and soggy as well. The fries were cold and soggy and when pulled apart you could see the white uncooked sides of the fries. I guess we don’t really like to complain much but we paid 40 dollars for the meal and would have rather just had a 12 pack of coke for that price than the meal as we both took a few bites and threw it away.

Best Gyros I have ever had. These guys do it right and I am a life long New Yorker. Fast, great service and delicious food. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Owner contacted me to get more details about the situation. It appears that Hungry Buffs dropped the ball and did not actually contact The Stand like they claimed they did. The owner did reimburse me, and offered to give me a gift certificate for my troubles.

How does the gyro stand not have 5 stars? First of all, the Boulder regulations against food carts are ridiculous, so the fact that this place even exists makes me happy. I have not ordered delivery, but only go to the stand when I am out on pearl street late enough to run into it. the gyros are delicious as is the grilled cheese. However, their cheeseburgers are my go to. Cheeseburgers from a gyro stand? Trust me on this one. The owners are kind and efficient, friendly even when dealing with a slew of drunk people.

Grilled cheese sandwich was ok, and I am very happy about the speedy delivery. However, worst gyro ever. Toasted pre sliced meat(not cut off of a spit) on a stale pita. The pita was so stale it cracked and broke where it was folded. The pita was so stale it turned to powder in some places. There were probably fresher wheat products found in King Tut’s tomb. Falafel King is so much yummier.

Considering my food sat in the Hungry buffs car with a cold soda(for 30 minutes), that was subsequently warm when it arrived, it was pretty dang delicious. Got the standard philly cheese and it was chocked to the brim with meat. Meet was tender and well cooked. Might’ve been a little bland but I still gobbled it up. I will definitely go here again, but I probably won’t be using HungryBuffs just due to my lack of proximity to the restaurant.

Ordered for delivery on hungry buffs. It came very promptly within half an hour, But unfortunately I wasn’t very impressed with the gyro. The meat and pita bread tasted store bought and just kind of whatever. It’s a very Americanized gyro. The tzaki sauce was very watery not thick or flavorful. The chopped tomatoes were warm and mushy. Where’s the fresh lettuce and sliced tomatoes? warm diced tomatoes are gross… The onion rings were soggy so I put them in the oven to try to save them but I still would not buy them again either. It’s hard to tell in the picture because the picture was taken after I put them back in the oven. They should really consider puncturing holes in the delivery containers so the fried foods arent Soggy… I will say however the handcut fries were interesting they almost reminded me of in in out fries but I think they would have been 10x better in person. Overall, its very overpriced… I wouldn’t want to try again. I still say the best most authentic tasting gyro in Boulder is still Mediterranean market and deli on 28th street.

Great food! I love the falafel gyro. Everything is made fresh with what seem to be high quality ingredients. My very allergic friend loves this stand because it is one of the few places a guy with soy, dairy, and gluten allergies can get a good meal. The only issue here is the price for non Gyro fair. 5.00 bucks for a corn dog is just insulting!

Great food. Great service. Great ownership. Perfect place to eat late night for a fair price. If you like supporting a true Boulder business, this is the spot.

Simply the best gyros, these guys are the best! The portions were more than I expected and very quick service. The stand was very busy but the employees were calm while slangin’ gryos and enjoying the rush.

This is absolutely the best stand for gyros and dare I say it, they literally have THEBEST gyro I have ever had!(As a California local I am kind of a gyro snob!) I personally went with the chicken option and was thrilled by how tasty the sauce was and how large the portions were! You definitely get what you pay for and more! Whether it’s date night on the town or even just a quick pick me up, this stand is for sure my go to now that I’ve been spoiled by the best! P. s. It’s juicy so grab a few extra napkins and just enjoy it!

So you’re drunk, hobbling down Pearl street to the cab stand. You’re missing something in life — but you’re not sure what. That’s when you smell it. The most delicious puffs of meaty scent waft under your nose and you drop everything… You need a gyro. Fresh veggies for crunch, covered in tzatziki sauce and stuffed into a fluffy pita. Extra bonus? It will save you from that killer hangover you’re doomed to have the next day. The cart is also quick and fairly inexpensive.
