Since I moved to Boulder and found this shop, it’s the only place I go for a haircut. The barber is a pretty nice guy and no nonsense when it comes to giving a standard haircut, compared to the other place in this shopping center where the people constantly try to upsell and never seem to be able to carry a conversation. The only downside(if you can call it that, because good for him) is that you need to call in a day or two in advance for getting a weekend haircut because he’s constantly busy.

Tony’s the fucking man,’nuff said. He’s been cutting hair for over 40 years and he gave me a great cut. Helluva nice guy, I’m definitely going back

Best barber in Boulder. I needed a good traditional barber and this filled the void. Screw all the salon hair cutters, a man needs a barber not a colorist. Tony is the man and he gives a great shave along with a haircut DEFINITELY call in, he is the only barber here and has alot of regular customers that fill his day.

This barbershop is a one man show. Tony is old style, and it shows, from the chairs to his welcome to the cash register to the clientele to the banter. I don’t know how his prices compare, since I don’t go anywhere else, but last time I was in it was $ 16 + tip for a standard cut. He has equipment for a straight shave and some other services, but I have purchased them. Make sure you call ahead and make a reservation, because he is busy and is the only barber. I have dropped in and waited for an hour for him to try to squeeze me in without success. The haircut is fine at a good price, but I can get a fine haircut other places. I go for the old time ambiance.

Old time barber shop. Many chairs, just one barber left. He’s a very friendly guy, I look forward to learning more from him in future visits. On the haircut side, I was very happy with the results — modern stylists just mess up my hair and make it do funny things. What am I going to do when barbers go extinct? Maybe I’ll just have to grow out my hair. Only thing I missed was that he didn’t do razor touch ups to finish your cut. And cheap barber cuts are almost extinct, it’s about $ 15 here. Appointments recommended; he has walk-in hours for the first part of the morning — 9−10am is it?

There is no greater ‘hair’ comfort than a competent, efficient, story-telling barber and Tony is Boulder’s best. He’s quite busy so walk-ins are sometimes not possible, but he does reserve the first hour in the morning for as many ‘non-appointment’ customers as he can fit it. For $ 15, this is a great deal.

One of the last old-style barbers in Boulder. This is a single, old guy who has been around forever. Very nice guy. Will talk your ear off if you let him. Cigar magazines in the waiting area. No styling moose, just regular haircuts from a regular guy. A guy’s barber, not really what women are looking for, I think. Haircuts are around $ 15. I give him $ 20 usually and I’m in and out in about 10 minutes.
