This location is great. The size of the place is bigger than two Starbucks put together. The friendly women at the cash registers are outstanding. The small challenge I had was seeing how stressed out the baristas were. It certainly seems like an intense job to have so I don’t want to be harsh here, but there must be something management can do to inspire a bit more awareness of facial expressions, frumpy frowns and momentary reactions to a sprinkle more of service. I don’t mind slow service as much as I mind grumpy people who are getting paid. Kinda defeats the purpose.

Stopped in to warm up from the howling wind tried the new smoked butterscotch latte. Delicious from the first sip down to the last. I usually get and iced beverage but wanted to venture out and try something new. Also this location also serves beer and wine which caught me off guard when I saw the sign advertising it. Also they had a window cleaning company cleaning windows while we were in enjoying our Starbucks was very distracting. Big location for being in a mall setting.

Worst customer service. Had to give the guy my order 3 times. My drink was poorly made. Was not greeted when I came in and was waiting. Was not asked if I wanted anything else would of gotten a sandwich possibly. Next time I will just to another coffee place

Always busy, usually reasonable service speed in spite of how many customers they are serving. Stopped in today with my kiddos before salon visit on Pearl and the barista was exceptionally friendly and chipper in spite of a gray snowy day. The biggest challenge at this Starbucks location is getting a place to sit. To many Boulderites that don’t work regular hours or work from a café ;-) Drinks and food were fine.

Holy crap service is slow. After ordering, I sat and stared at the counter for what felt like ages. I estimate it took them 20 – 30 minutes to complete my drink? I’ve never seen such a Starbucks backlog in my life. There wasn’t even a huge line. I’m used to Starbucks employees starting to make my drink pretty soon after I order, but I watched around 5 – 7 drinks(all spread out chronologically) be completed and picked up before mine. I started thinking that maybe someone stole my drink, but it turns out the staff was just incredibly slow. They do have a more interesting and expansive drink menu compared to many other Starbucks that I’ve been to. I ordered a Salted Caramel Mocha. They also serve beer and wine(only in the evenings? I’m not sure, I didn’t order it). Also you need to purchase something and use a code for the bathrooms. Pretty annoying, and kind of makes me feel like I’m in a 24-hour fast food restaurant in the hood.

Kind of insulting to require a code to use the bathroom. I really had to pee and needed to pee before buying my coffee, but they require a code on the receipt in order to unlock the door. For all the thousands of dollars I’ve spent at Starbucks over the years, to be treated like that is bs. I’m glad I held it a little longer to walk down the street to another coffee shop where they didn’t treat me like a criminal in order to use a freaking toilet. Not at all cool.

By far the worst customer service I’ve seen at a Starbucks. Like obviously some store have better service than others but I have never encountered rude service at any store before. I personally didn’t receive the bad service but rather was a witness. The girl who took my order was pleasant but half way through my transaction a woman walked up to the counter to asked for the restroom code, the girl making the drinks said very rudely«you get it at the counter when you place an order and pay.» The woman who was clearly a customer explained that she had already placed an order and didn’t not want to bother the cashier since she was in the middle of helping me. The girl then replied«well go ahead and bother her anyway.» It was very off-putting for me since I was in the middle of placing an order. Well I ordered and went to wait for my drink. A man who had a few drinks went up to the bar to tell the barista he still had a drink missing from my order. I really didn’t think the way he said it was rude at all but the barista snapped back«I’m working on it.» He was clearly taken back and said something like wow no need for the attitude to which the girl got very offended and was like«um I didn’t give you attitude, we are just busy»(it really wasn’t that busy for Starbucks standards). Then the other barista chimed in that they had«just had like 25 drinks to make.» Big freaking whoop. You work at Starbucks that’s the job description. What really annoyed me was as someone who has worked many retail jobs in the past, one in a pharmacy with really difficult people, that no matter how rude a customer is(again this guy wasn’t even rude) you are never rude back. Customer is king, without the, you don’t make money. If you don’t like this don’t work in retail!!! Seriously disappointed. Can’t imagine how someone so rude would ever be hired at a Starbucks store. Also I tried to look for a name tag some could complain about her service but she didn’t have one, which I found odd for a Starbucks employee.

Will never return to this store. Went in around 8pm with my 2 year old daughter who was clutching herself needing very badly to use the bathroom. Walked to the bathrooms to find that they had a passcode on them. I planned on getting a double shot of espresso. I asked to have the code. She told me that first I would have to purchase something. I explained that I didn’t want to purchase anything prior to using the bathroom. I was told I could«have a good night,» and the employee pointed to the door. Disgusted, I walked out of the store and will NEVEREVER purchase anything from this store again as a matter of principle.

Perhaps necessary to keep out the local riff-raff, but the snooty waitstaff lives up to certain Boulder stereotypes. Pass on to the next coffee shop.

Friendly service(a bit aloof but I felt welcome). Nice décor. And ok coffee for a high pice(as usual). What made me dislike this place was that there was only 1 bathroom. After minutes in line I noticed there was a bathroom policy scribbled on a chalk board stating that I needed a secret code to pee, which I had to buy a drink for, just did that… coffee is a diuretic… so I had to wait again to get this info. After which the barista whom just helped me gave it to me with a snide«I assume you bought a coffee here» comment, really, she just talked to us in great detail. After this and waiting in line again I was finally able to enter the one and ONLY moderately unpleasant smelling and not very clean bathroom,(i.e. Dust, mirror grime, toothpick and TP shrapnel on floor, pube on lid(latter not necessarily due to poor maintenance, but there nonetheless) and stains on floor and walls). Apart from expected the high price v.s. quality of the place it was the added lack of costumer care here that made this a bad memory part of my otherwise pleasant visit to Boulder.

This is by far the WORST Starbucks I’ve ever been in. I contacted starbucks corporate because the last time I visited this particular location. It took 20 minutes to get a tea because the employees were too busy discussing, and I kid you not, «being racist, but only like, kind of.» All the employees were openly discussing their shared interest and an older couple ahead of me were also very uncomfortable by the topic. An employee on her break was eating at the bar area where drinks are given out. In all this last experience was the last straw after a string of bad trips to this Starbucks.

Most consistent Starbucks in boulder; the nail the drinks every time 1st and are efficient. The only downside, and I hate to sound elitist, but there can be a large homeless population inside. I’ve been there multiple times with people asleep in all the chairs and tables camped out. No biggie… Always nice baristas too, great attitudes!

I’ve only been to this SB a few TIMES, at least this time, when I ask for a tad ‘sweetened’ and it was right on the dot, yummy. One star taken away because there’s literally nowhere to sit, I sat in my truck.

This Starbucks is a Reserve which means they have more exotic and rare coffee blends. I am addicted to the Spinachfeta wrap.

A standard Starbucks. Very efficient and happy baristas. Looks very new inside. Always very clean. The access from pearl isn’t the easiest, there isn’t a direct light and the parking lot is always a little cramped.

This Starbucks was recently renovated. It is great inside, nice and light with plenty of seating. While I prefer The Cup one block down on Pearl St. I find this Starbucks a good option for meeting-up with friends. Clean bathrooms a bonus.

It’s a Starbucks with the added benefits of single occupant restrooms(at times a small line) and a great view of the hustle and bustle of the tourist section combined with hippies and homeless all peacefully coexisting together, some times with some aghast glances amongst noted. Enjoyed soaking up some AC, caffeine and bandwidth here for a while.

Great Starbucks that is away from the hustle and bustle occuring outside on Pearl Street. Although this Starbucks sits right in the middle of the infamous foot mall, it’s large size and quaint interior makes for a nice getaway. The staff is friendly and I never have had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a coffee, no matter how busy they are.

This Starbucks is directly on Pearl Street and very convenient. After a hot day at the Boulder Farmers Market we found ourselves very parched and in need of a refreshing drink, all hale Starbucks. Two of the three of us had our free drink postcard and opted for some Bucks. Service was friendly and quick and made our bodies thankful for the hydration and the shot layover in a nicely air conditioned room.
