I’ve been to the Shieldmans store a few times looking for cell phone covers, but I never find what I want here, at a reasonable price. I prefer the OtterBox brand phone covers for durability. I could care less about colors and patterns. I’m not willing to pay full retail for something if I know I can find it for less. These guys weren’t willing to even match the price I found on the exact same product at Marshalls. Yes, I have gotten my last 3 phone covers at Marshalls for about half off retail. Open or damaged outer packaging, maybe, but it’s the phone cover itself that’s important, not the packaging.
The employees were very knowledgable and kind, but sometimes, having too many choices is overwhelming for me, and I like a good bargain, so I’ll stick with Marshalls for my phone covers.

I recently bought my husband a new iPhone and needed a specific heavy duty protection case for it, of the same durable brand as on his old phone. The Apple Store does not sell this brand and recommended Shieldmans, a few doors down.
I was aware of them and had stopped in recently to see what was on the market for serious back country protection. They were very helpful and agreed that the new model of the old case was still the best for that use, though it has been slimmed and styled a bit over the years and did not look as robust. Their stock was a bit low on color selection, but having checked the local big box sellers of this item before the new phone purchase, found them nearly sold out. So to get the color I wanted, and not drive all over town looking again, I paid a very small amount more. Absolutely worth the convenience. Also, the sales people were very friendly and knowledgeable and showed me how the multiple piece unit went together.

Don’t waste your money here. I bought a basic case for my iphone 6 at this store and in just over a month it’s broken. They didn’t want to replace it and ask me to buy another one at half price instead. The reason was because they couldn’t return it to the vendor. Well, that’s not my problem, is it? Why buy such low quality goods? The store does not care about customer care and they sell the goods more than if you buy them online. Go to amazon for better quality cases at a much lower price – plus you can return them in 3 months if you’re not happy.

This place is pretty cool. It has a great selection not just on cases, but also a good range of accessories as well. They carry some good varieties from low to high end products so something for everyone. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I got myself a wooden case at a great price. I would recommend to check this place out.

This place deserves your attention, as they are an independent, full-​service electronic item accessory store, with the personal attention you cannot get from a major brand. The owner, James, knows his job well & goes that extra yard to get things done without additional cost. I stopped by to explore an iPad Air2 screen protector and case, and James and his staff (Sergei) were able to not only distinguish which item was best, but it was at a better price than their competitors. Very impressed with their customer service, their professionalism, and attitude.

A while back I bought a basic plastic screen protector for my phone here. I paid an inflated price for it, as it was presented as having an unlimited lifetime warranty. I figured it was a decent deal, pay too much once then come get another free when it gets scratched up. Today I went in for my warranty replacement. The kid at the counter tells me that the warranty replacement is $ 3.00, or exactly what a screen protector costs anywhere else.
Lame. I was deceived. They lost a customer for a few dollars profit. Nice business model.

Well, what can I say, they have tons and tons of cases, from cheap to spendy. Perhaps what the don’t have are the gold plated and diamond dust varieties of cases.
They also have some accessories if that’s what you need. I was looking for charging accessories — they seem to have the low-​quality economy versions of these items, so if that’s what you need/​want… I ended up passing on their chargers and will go find a higher quality source, although I have no reason to believe any of their products won’t work perfectly well (for a while at least).
I’m sure the staff will be quite helpful in finding a case within the cornucopia they have and helping you install it.
Overall, I think this place is a great resource for those who like cases! Personally, I don’t even use a case!

Wouldn’t give a refund for a defective case, returned within 7 days. Store credit only. But, they don’t carry a similar replacement. Bummer. I called the owner and was connected to the buyer, who said they would get something that would work for me, soon. Nothing. I’ve called them several times and have been promised a replacement, but three weeks later and they don’t have anything. They don’t answer their email. I like to support local, but Amazon would certainly give you a full refund for defective merchandise.
Edit: I raised my rating because it looks like they are going to come through with a special order of replacement cases. Took about a month.

I came here immediately after getting my new 4S. I cracked the screen of my 3GS after taking it out of its OtterBox case a few months back. I knew I had to get an OtterBox for my new phone asap. These guys knew what they were talking about and they let me try out the different types and colors of OtterBoxes on my phone. They were super friendly and very helpful. If you are hard on your phones definitely get an OtterBox.

This store is fantastic. It has a very wide selection of not only cell phone cases, but iPad cases, and a ton of headphones (the House of Marley brand are the best!), and a bunch of other accessories there. I got my iPhone back glass replaced with zebra print and it looks amazing. The staff are very helpful and always really nice. Overall, this store is my one-​stop-​shop for all my mobile accessories. Thanks!

My wife and I discovered this store after buying our new 4S iPhones. We were looking for Otterbox cases to fit the new phones. The two guys who run this shop bent over every which way to support us, even though Otterbox was slow on their deliveries. All-​in-​all I can say is how great these guys are! They know how to deliver customer service, are friendly, helpful, and everything I want when I walk into a store.
