This location closes at 9 so if you get there around 8 they will be out of food. I’m guessing it’s laziness on the managers part but when you have a line of cars wanting to get drive thru wouldn’t it make fiscal sense to make a little more food for those willing to wait?
But this is Boulder… It would be really easy to get the residents to band together to enforce an extra tax on fast food. The KFC/​Taco Bell is an eyesore an Arapahoe anyways.

Disappointed in food we ordered at 6pm. Chicken tasted like it had been sitting around for hours and the biscuits were cold and dry. Green beans had so much black pepper it was hard to eat. Restaurant was so cold we brought food home.

Love me some KFC every once and awhile. but heads up if you go to this location they WILL forget half your order so CHECK YOUR BAG! Lol happens every time. Also don’t go here if you don’t have 30 mins to spare. Probably never going there again though cause as I’m writing this review I just had a bite of mashed potatoes and no joke it tastes like Copenhagen wintergreen long cut ha! My boyfriend chews it so I unfortunately know the taste… I guess I upset the guy at the window by asking for the food I ordered and payed for. So in short you will wait 30 – 40 mins for your food, you will have to go back to get the stuff you actually ordered, and then they will spit in your food. Amazing.

So they closed the KFC in Lafayette and the one in North Boulder. Both were much cleaner and the food was better than at this dump. Lobby tables, walls and floors were last cleaned in early 1990s. I thought I would hit the drive-​through on my way home from work the other night as the thought of the lobby made me queasy. Two piece original with white meat & mac and cheese for $ 7.00. My two pieces were a wing from a chick (with no meat) and a breast that was dried out and inedible. Frozen mac & cheese from Michelina’s has more flavor than the side order I received. The biscuit was actually good. Tossed the rest and poured myself a bowl of cereal. Comments to corporate have not been answered.

I needed a fast lunch and stopped by here for a two piece meal. Everything about this place is nasty, as I stood in line I looked at the people working there and at the place itself. I walked out there was no way I was going to eat at this dump. I like to have some KFC chicken every now and then but not at this place. The colonel would not be happy !

I have seen the KFC chicken pot pie commercial a lot on TV so I decided to try it out. On Thursdays it is their daily special at $ 2.99. I was pleasantly surprised by how large it was in person and by how much I liked it. The crust was crispy and complimented the inside well. The chicken and filling tasted really good and I was definitely full when I was done eating it.

There’s just something about the biscuits…
At least once a month I treat myself to KFC. A guilty pleasure I know, but a trip there also makes for some good people watching. Their website always has great coupons and if you sign up for their emails you can receive coupons that way as well.
The staff are usually friendly, though the orders aren’t always right (check your bag before you leave — much as you would anywhere really).
Though I’ve already been once this month there’s a coupon in my in-​box beckoning me to return.

One word for this place and the food: Disgusting. Bad service. Cold food. No ice in the soda machine. Flat beverages. Dirty tables and floors. Staff sees all of this and does nothing.
Contacted KFC corporate via their website. Over 3 weeks have gone by with no response. That says it all.
