If it weren’t for the free sandwich card, I would have never stepped foot into this shop. It’s in a very cute location on Pearl St. As I stepped in for lunch, it was quite busy but the staff were friendly and acknowledged everyone. I had their Italian sandwich which wasn’t that great. It came with chips and a pickle. For the price, the portion was definitely too small. The pickle didn’t have the taste I wanted it to have. Not very vinegary and had a weird after taste. The sandwich was just way too small and barely had any meat on it. Although the flavors were ok, the bread was very hard and it hurt my jaw going through it. It was nice to try since I could try it for free, but would I come here again? Nope. I’ll probably just go to Half Fast subs

This is one of my new favorite sandwich shops in Boulder. They have an insanely massive selection of sandwiches so you can always try something new. However, it gets harder and harder to branch out as everything I’ve tried is so tasty! I would highly recommend any of the fish sandwiches– Scuba Steve is like a fish taco in a sandwich, and the Kenai is a fresh take on the classic bagel and lox. They also have a a delicious selection of sides to pick from– the sweet and sour brusselsprouts I had last week were delicious and so unique. The wait after you order can be a little long, so make sure you have plenty of time if you come during lunch. But order an iced tea and relax on the sunny patio with a friend!

Consistently excellent service paired with fresh, quality meals, great options for those with food allergies, and timely delivery. I use this for corporate lunch ordering, and they have never let me down. Well-done, guys!

Saw this charming little eatery as we were driving on Pearl Street; there was a free parking spot across the street so we decided to try it for a late lunch. So glad we did! All the sandwich and salad choices are described on signs above the counter – so many yummy options! I had the Gobbler, with homemade cooked turkey, avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, bacon and pesto on ciabatta. It was soooo good but I could only eat half before getting full. My husband had the Caprese sandwich which is usually cold, but he asked for it hot – came out crispy and delicious on ciabatta. Boulder chips and a homemade pickle are included in the price. With a drink, it was $ 25, pretty reasonable for a good lunch! Will definitely be back to sample some of the other yummy sounding sammies!

One of my favorite sandwich shops in Boulder. They have a wide menu of items to select from. Plenty of seating inside and out. I tend to get the piglet and a mexi-coke. The only downfall is they are NOT open on Sunday. So, I only get one day to enjoy their delicious food.

Dish is a regular go-to for me. Delicious gourmet food using lots of fresh, sustainably grown, often local ingredients. Pricing is reasonable for the quality of the food and portions are good size… Many sandwiches and salads to choose from. For sandwiches, the turkey with stuffing and cranberry is one of my favorites, also like the BBQ. My husband likes the Tuscan white bean with avo and other veggies. But what I usually get is a few side dishes. There is always a good rotating/seasonal selection of sides with and without meat. They post ingredient information(GF, Veg, Vegan, Dairy Free…). They used to have a glass counter case where you could see all the sides. Now they just have them listed on a board. I liked it better when you could see the sides, but it hasn’t changed how delicious they all are. At lunch time it can take a while to move through the line and get your food because it is popular. Highly recommend for carry out or a quick casual bite.

This little sandwich shop is in a delightful location. We were able to sit on a great outdoor patio while enjoying our sandwiches. My wife and I ordered the Mapleton and the Italian to split. The Mapleton was my favorite of the two sandwiches. A good combination of flavors. The Italian was was my wife’s favorite of the two sandwiches. The bread, cheese, and olives were great on this selection. My wife also couldn’t resist ordering a cookie. She ordered a snicker doodle and everyone at the table enjoyed a piece of it. Overall this sandwich shop was good but fairly pricey. I would like to come back to try other selections.

Love this little spot off Pearl… Perfect place to grab a sandwich or salad and enjoy their patio. It might take me a year but I fully intend to make my way through their entire sandwich menu. There are so many amazing options! So far the Sole Sister is a fav, their house-smoked salmon is delicious. They serve their breakfast sandwiches all day which makes it pretty tough to ever try anything else. But I also love the dish salad with grilled chicken if you’re looking for something a little lighter.

Food is good. Bread was kinda hard. Bathroom is clean and smells like weed(ayyyyy!). Very good vibes coming from this place and the people working here. Probably because of all the weed they smoked in the bathroom.

Very mixed review. The blueberry muffin was so dry it was basically inedible. I was really, really hungry and still just threw it away after two bites. Zero stars. Skip the baked goods! The Kenai salmon sandwich was a bit dry and salty– it needed more cream cheese spread and a lot fewer capers. The house-smoked salmon was good, but nothing super special. Two stars, not worth the price. The pork sandwich we had was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Great balance of flavors(although I would have liked a bit more cheese). Five stars. All the sides we tried were also killer, great flavor combos with well executed ingredients! Four stars. Pickles were not to my taste(half-sours I think) but my dad loved them. Three stars.

I see Dish as a stereotypical Boulder restaurant:(e.g, Leaf the kitchen, Shine, Zeal): esoteric name. fresh organic ingredients, a claim to be gourmet and then tasteless food overpriced food. Also, while this may seem petty, having the iPad /cash register default to an 18% tip for a counter order is presumptuous.

best sandwich shop in boulder and a bonus when you get their fresh baked cookies straight from the oven! Out of all the great eateries in Boulder this is my favorite, worth the price, and a quaint shop with lots of unique options!

I’m a big salad person and this place has GREAT salads. I’ve only had 2 so far, but always happy. I’ve gotten the Bloody Good Salad a few times, and it’s definitely yummy. But today I had the Mediterranean Salad and — OMG — that was downright AMAZING. I love salads with lots of «stuff» in them, which Meds usually don’t have a ton of. But this one was JUSTDELICIOUS. I basically licked the to-go box. I’m sure the rest of their food is amazing. As soon as you walk in, they have delicious-looking entrée & side items behind a glass deli-style counter, all of which i will eventually try someday…

Great quality food, feels light. Ordered: The Globber — turkey sandwich. The bread was tasty but the turkey lacked a little flavor. Salad and homemade dressing was great. Brownie was rich and strong cocoa flavor. The M&M cookie had a great blend of chewy and crunchy. This place has a lot of potential. I would def give another try if in Boulder.

We ordered box lunches from here for a recent meeting. It is a nice little deal where you get izze sodas, chips, a pickle, cookies, and either a sandwich or salad. The sandwiches all looked good, the pickles were yummy but the chips were stale. My salmon ceasar was mediocre. I guess the salad was fine, but the dressing was so think I had trouble spreading it around. Also, I wish they had mentioned that it would be smoked salmon. I love cooked salmon on a salad but do not like smoked salmon so that was disappointing. I was quite happy that they gave me a gluten free cookie though!

I came here with my boyfriend on a Wednesday, and our experience was awful. I ordered a BLAT and when it came, there wasnt any avocado on it, so I very politely asked one of the sandwich makers to fix it. When I got It back the sandwich had blackened, rotting avocado that was obviously passed it’s prime smeared all over one half of the sandwich with all of the lettuce and tomato piled on top, leaving only bacon on the other half. It was sloppy, ruined, and looked disgusting, and given that I paid 8 bucks for such a simple sandwich, it was utterly ridiculous. I dont know what I did to offend the man making my food, but if you don’t like working in the food service industry and feel the need to take it out on your customers, you should work elsewhere.

Great little place if you are looking for high quality sandwiches. The Gobbler was perfect. The Tuscan was just ok. Could have used more white bean spread. I just tasted bread and not much else. Upgrade your side to one of the killer salads! We got the potato salad. It also had zucchini and squash in it. One of the best I’ve ever had!

Really good food. Exceptionally tasty sandwiches(!), nice selection of healthy ore-made options like beets and beans and pasta salads. Nice drink selection. Towards the end of Pearl street so you’re not in the heart of the action, which is a plus more than a bane. My biggest gripe is the douchey server. I ordered food to go and when he gave me my receipt to sign he said, «Why don’t you go total that up for me.» I was going to tip you, Ace. You don’t need to be a fukcing prick about it. Otherwise very nice.

2012 Review #264: went to an event catered by dish, and here’s what we had: Antipasti and cheese platter– fine. Sort of wet. Unremarkable. Chicken piccata– very overdone pasta. Chicken was not too dry. Seasoned adequately. Lemon bars– not very lemony. Very thick pastry. Cookies and brownies– dry, crumbly. Flavors were fine. Fruit and noosa yogurt– best item of the evening. Staff– friendly, kind; and accommodating. I see quite a line at the Dish restaurant and have wanted to go in but honestly this event will probably make me wait a bit. OK but nothing remarkable.
