We did preschool there for one year. Would not recommend.

Want a great Christian education for your child preschool through eighth grade? My daughter went to HCA and now my granddaughter is attending there. The teachers are amazing, loving and so caring. The principal is also the best! She has increased the school spirit and truly loves all the children.

PARENTS BE CAREFUL!!! I speak to those children 3 – 4, don’t have any experience in the other classes. If you have a child in Barb’s class… she’s amazing! Great teacher and God’s Gift to teaching! If you have a child in Mrs. Lines class… be careful… she is very strict… screams at kids and doesn’t allow them to eat anything desert like in their lunch bag. If your child is sensitive, don’t put them in there at all, no matter how much anyone says.
Also, parents… I walked in on Drill Sargent Kate in after school care ream kids for not being in line and talking, with heads down on tables!!! What is going on??? Does this teacher have an education or anything? Nope, nothing at all! Horrible!!! This is a Christian School that doesn’t have loving staff with the children in the classes I saw.
Move on! Be aware, just stand in hall and watch Kate and Lines drill your kids to death, if you don’t believe me. But, don’t worry… when you go to the administration they will just tell you that your child is the problem!!! LOL… what a joke!!! Interesting times ahead for you staff, interesting times ahead!
Good Luck… took my child to Newport Children’s School, ten times as good!
Have fun with them asking for all that money for donations! Not worth it at all for the administrators that do nothing… and teachers that are worse than anyone out there!

This school «cherry picks» the students, my son, very high functioning autism currently in public preschool «tested» into this Kindergarden program, they «failed him» on things I know without a shadow of a doubt he can do and has done, the principal herself called me and told me we don’t take Austic kids is IEP, we can’t handle them, but they sure as heck took the $ 250 fee to test him (they gave back after I demanded it), knowing upfront he has Autism, after touring the school 2 times, talking to them many times and getting his IEP. Then the chicken of a principal HID in her office at the time she knew I was coming in to get my refund, wrote a BS letter about why he failed the test and did not have the good morals or Christian Attitude to see me or apologize to my face! I would RUN. From this school, they can’t teach morals to our children when they do not practice them themselves! poor showing for a «Christian School»!

Our kids have been coming here for seven years now. As the name suggests, the program is about academics within a Christian framework. SAT scores show year after year that our students test several years beyond their grade levels.
Living in a neighborhood that feeds into Maywood I can say firsthand that our kids are learning more and stretching their abilities in ways that will prepare them for High School, college, and the real world. Nearly every day I see the evidence in my children that this private school has a very positive influence on their lives.
