Last time I ordered from this location, the wings came with hardly any sauce and tasted not fully cooked. I normally love the wings so we tried again tonight. HORRIBLE service. Got delivery since I have a broken ankle and the driver was yelling quite rude at me to come downstairs. After I told her to just leave we contacted the establishment. The general manager said that«people have been jumped in apartments so we don’t go inside the building, it’s an insurance policy.» After talking to corporate we found this to be a lie. Disgusting people making disgusting food. **Use the Brookline location instead**

Decent food. But horrible service. Cashier overcharged me $ 50 for my order. Not coming back to this location.

Terrible service — and scam you out of $$. The last two times I’ve ordered delivery they charged me $ 1.50 for extra dressing that they did not include with my order. This time it took almost 2 hours to receive my order. The food is good but it’s a shame the employees can’t keep their customers coming back.

Never ever again. I love good wings and to be honest, I haven’t even received mine yet. Maybe they’ll be better than the service– absolutely terrible. I came to pick up and even waited a little longer based on other reviews, but multiple people have come in and ordered after me and have received their food. No system and no customer service. I absolutely won’t go back.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered online, it said 2.5 hours for delivery so I decided to go pick it up. I waited 30 mins and then they said it would be ready. When I arrived it was not ready and I have now been waiting 25 mins. The woman behind the counter was unprofessional(yelling at her coworkers) and could not tell me how long it would be. If I hadn’t already paid through grub hub I would have left by now. DONOTORDERFROMHERE.

TERRIBLE service. I came here on a Thursday night, and I placed my order expecting to have it in maybe half an hour tops. Fast forward an hour. I finally get my food just as I’m about to complain to the manager. I take it home and SURPRISE! No blue cheese OR celery, both of which I was offered and explicitly asked for. Oh, and they also apparently forgot about the salad I ordered, and proceeded to charge me for it anyway. Took me a half hour to get the manager on the phone, so by the time I got my salad the wings were cold. The wings themselves are pretty good, but they are not at all worth the woefully abysmal service. The place is ridiculously understaffed, and the staff who are there seem very apathetic. I think there were 4 people total working there, which is not nearly enough for the volume of customers that were there when I went. They all move at a snail’s pace(even the manager!), and upon speaking to other customers in the restaurant I learned that this is not an abnormal occurrence. Several other consumers had been waiting well over an hour, including a first responder INUNIFORM. It amazes me how this place stays in business with a staff that very clearly doesn’t care the tiniest bit about their business or customers. Suffice to say I will not be coming back here again.

I’ve been here twice-both times disappointing. The wait to dine in is reeeealllly long. The seating is next to none. The quality is standard at best. The variety is nice but no one sauce or rub is tremendously flavorful. Last time I was in it smelled like a broken toilet. Can’t recommend.

Picture this: 4 grown men, pages of research, a case of beer, a $ 60 wing order: it’s Fantasy season! The stage was set, we linked up the computer to the big screen, we pulled up the wings over Boston website, and placed what we would later call«the final order.» Imagine 2 pounds of Boneless wings sponge bathed in delicious flavors. Coupled with 25 bone in wings, two sides of the required blue cheese — we ordered spicy, we live dangerously, we’re men. An hour goes by, the phone rings, could it be the wings? In the madness, a beer gets spilled, don’t worry we have napkins. Recovery. I make a dash for the door, sprint down two flights, and if you could see the smile on my face when I met the man who would present me with my platter of excellence, the smile was ear to ear. Walking upstairs, the explosion of aroma so strong, it’s a party in my mouth. The wings go on the table. «Pass the blue cheese!» But wait! Where is the blue cheese?! Is this a joke? The«Home of the wing Professionals» it can’t be. Professionals would know that blue cheese is required for wings! The madness. Time to be real. Service is the worst. I called the restaurant. Manager is a smug jerk, «sorry that I ruined your night because of blue cheese.» I live 800 yards away, send it! The wings are cold and we’re still waiting.

Horrible staff! Walked in last night, the guy at the cashier didn’t even look at me for 2 mins. Too busy sitting and playing with his phone. When I said excuse me, can I put an order. He looked at me like if I am bothering him. So I said, never mind and left. Feel bad for the owner… You need to fire your manager and get new staff. You will be out of business with this staff! Good luck!

True to the Unilocal ratings. This place is merely Okay. While the bone in and boneless wings are fantastic, the whole experience brings the rating down a notch because the atmosphere is somewhat sophomoric. First about the food. They do have a ton of flavors to choose from which is definitely sure to meet just about anyone’s taste. The problem is picking the right flavor that suits. I’ve tried all the flavors and my favorites are Honey BBQ, Cajun BBQ, Texas Mesquite, and Sweet Chili. Garlic Parm, Citrus Chipotle are also very good as well. Basically they have a lot of good flavors! While their bone in wings are very good, the definite star on the menu is the Boneless Wings. For the atmosphere I guess it’s to be expected given the nature of the establishment. I’ve been here a few times to order eat in and take out. I would definitely recommend take out. Definitely check your orders before you leave, the workers can be disorganized and disinterested at times, which can make for incorrect food orders/deliver. Overall the wings are great and worth the hassle. Better for take out.

The best for boneless wings. Honey BQQ is my favorite sauce.

I absolutely love Wings Over Boston. As a college student living in Mission Hill, it is pretty hard to find good restaurants that delivers to my far end of the Hill and that is cheap at the same time. Wings Over fits both those requirements. Spending $ 11(including delivery tip) on food that can last me two meals is pretty great for a student on a budget! Not to mention, it’s great study food as well. It’s fast and it’s convenient. I always order the honey BBQ hang glider here because I don’t eat a lot and I don’t like to get my fingers dirty. The french fries are really good too! You can’t go wrong with Wings Over. It’s super accessible by T — perfect location for students.

Food is always a gamble; sometimes on point, sometimes ass. All employees here are inept and cannot perform the simple duties that they’re given. Most cashiers can’t do math. It’s kinda amazing. The hiring manager must be a very compassionate person that tries to see the good in people. But anyways, I highly recommend you AVOID this place. They sold me a salad without dressing and when I called them about it they didn’t seem to understand why I was upset. I like chicken so I ordered here a couple times and each time I’ve been extremely disappointed.

Food is always solid, prices are decent, and they’re open until like 2:30 am unlike the rest of the city of Boston. Can’t complain :) It can sometimes take awhile to get food, so call ahead and order! Also, it’s not somewhere where you’d want to eat your food in, unless a little dingy and run down is your style. Can get pretty crazy at times(thursday, friday, saturday nights) but calling ahead and picking up a few minutes later can never go wrong here.

For a wings place I was pretty disappointed. I went at 1:00am last night and it was super crowded and busy. There is no order to this place whatsoever. Granted it was a Saturday night at 1am but the workers were very unprofessional. There were two guys, probably late teens early 20s and they gave free food to guys that they were cool with. The food itself was mediocre. I ordered buffalo and bbq wings and they were soggy and didn’t have enough sauce on them. My friends ordered cheese fries and there wasn’t enough cheese on it. At 1 in the morning we’ll eat just about anything but I was expecting more.

Meh… The wings weren’t that great as everyone hypes it to be but the waffles fries on the other hand, yummy! I always get the honey bbq ribs and Cajun waffle fries whenever I go. The ribs aren’t that great either but, I strangely crave it a lot. It’s a very chill place, and a lot of Northeastern students come here. I mean, the university is right there aha. It can get pretty rowdy and crowded late at night. Small and little seating. Overall, not the best place but I come back quite often.

They are pretty incompetent. You have to basically order ahead, but sometimes they forget your order or just don’t make it for like half an hour. They always screw up my order, forgetting drinks, sauces, celery. Additionally there always seems to be panhandlers in the restaurant and the staff does nothing. The only reason this is two stars is because their food is actually quite great. The milkshakes are pretty amazing. But the amount of money I’ve lost on items never delivered offsets that.

The service here is awful. I think I’m having a similar experience to others here where the service is too hard to handle for the number of orders that they take in. I would love to comment on the taste of the good but unfortunately it’s been an hour and I have yet to receive it. As a customer that has come into the store to sit down, order, and eat their food, I am incredibly disappointed that they do not acknowledge their customers that make the effort to come in and wait. I’ve already seen two parties come and go, still with no acknowledgement on the status of my food.

Chicken wings are one of my favorite foods of all time so I could it any day of the week. I live really close so I always call/order early and walk over before I get home and it’s so convenient. It’s not a good place to sit and eat because I can imagine the wait would be pretty long since I’m sure they have lots of orders coming in but ordering pickup is pretty fast. I usually get the Garlic Parmesan and Sweet Chili. They’re both nice and crispy with a pretty solid amount of flavor in every bite. There is sometimes too much sauce on the Sweet Chili wings but they probably put a lot since I’m sure some people like extra sauce.(Keep in mind, restaurants have to cater to a huge variety of people.) Judging my own experiences and the actual food, it’s really good!

Wings Over Sunday. That’s what I like to call it. Order Hangar 4 twice, three weeks apart. Nosh through a rack of ribs, B1, Concorde, 2 orders of french fries, 2 orders of onion rings, and 2 bottles of Sprite. Stomach and soul, content. Both times it only took them 20 minutes to make our order. Everything was just as expected. Can’t go wrong with fried chicken tenders, wings, and sauce. Finger lickin’ good and fun times.
