I was working down the street for a while and the office staff likes to get food from here. I was hooked after the first order I got from there. The chicken they put on their salads is out of this world. It’s super juicy and flavorful. And even good cold(cause you know… leftovers). But on days when I want substance, I’ll go for a sub, but those are nothing to write home about. They’re your basic pizzeria subs, can’t compare to the chicken. Recently, having been away from the office for a while, I wanted their chicken. But I also wanted substance. So I branched out and tried the pesto chicken panini. YUM. It may be my new«regular» order whenever I’m in the neighborhood.

Being from Long Island I’m extremely picky about my pizza. I like a thin airy crust and delicious sauce and toppings, and I was shocked when I moved to Boston that this is NOT easy to come by. Not until I found Pizzeria 260 in Southie. Their tomato sauce base for their red pizzas is delicious. I typically always order pepperoni if i go this route. Otherwise I almost always order their buffalo chicken pizza. It’s a white based pizza that’s layered with ranch, mozzarella and breaded buffalo chicken. My boyfriend who hates ranch and will only eat blue cheese loves this pizza. They’re delivery is always quick and I had an instance where they delivered the wrong pizza. They quickly came over with the correct pie, no questions asked.

The pizza is very good and cooked to order(I like mine very well done) and, for the most part, the service is friendly and efficient. To say it’s «kid friendly» might be an understatement but overall a fun place for a meal.

I don’t understand the negative reviews here — this is hands down some of the best pizza in Southie! I don’t usually get delivery but the staff working there always seems friendly when I go to pick up my order. I’ve been told their salads are pretty great too — definitely give them a try!

Solid pizza, a bit on the thin side but well cooked and some great flavor combos. Fantastic and fresh arugula salad is a great starter to split with a group of 2 – 3 but the real winner here are the oven toasted grinders and wraps. Very generously sized and great tasting sandwiches.

run of the mill sub-par pizza place — crust is cardboard texture — doesn’t seem fresh. Ordered delivery last week — gave the driver $ 30 for a $ 21 bill and he handed me $ 3 in ones and ran off before I could count and realize he shorted me. not worth trying.

Who goes to a pizza place and orders a burger? No idea. But if you are looking for thin crust pizza with great sauce and dough, definitely order from here. I have tried almost every pizza place in Southie and this one is BYFAR the best. Granted, I only eat standard pizza like cheese, GPO or Pepperoni, but it is consistently good. I also never wait longer than 40 minutes for delivery. They also have really good Greek salads if you are trying to be healthy.

Not bad if you like having cardboard for dinner. Big portions but the panini’s were god awful

REALLY good pizza! The BBQ chicken and pollo pesto ones are particularly great. The only downside is that it usually takes between 1 – 2 hours for delivery.

I’m obsessed with this place! I’ve been ordering from here like once or twice a week for like a year! That’s how much I love it. I’m shocked at some of the reviews. I’ve received nothing but outstanding customer service from this place. I’ve only physically been in a couple of times but even then, the person at the counter is always friendly. My food always comes tasting absolutely delicious and comes within a reasonable amount of time. I love their salads and wraps and won’t get them anywhere else since I’ve found this place. #1 pizza place in Southie hands down!

Too bad. The place looked great. Very clean. Asked for a burger at 9:40pm on a Saturday night and was denied bc they close at 10. Hmmm. I asked why the door was open then… What would the owner say?

Horrible customer service. Ordered delivery, called multiple times to check on the status of the order after it hadn’t been received after an hour and a half. I received inaccurate updates on the status of the order and ultimately didn’t receive the order for 2.5+ hours. I will never order from here again.

There is a Burger King that lies between my apartment and Pizzeria 260. On many an auspicious afternoon, I have braved the walk past the King and his tempting 10 piece chicken nuggets for $ 1.50. This low hanging fruit tempts my thin wallet with the power of ten thousand lies. And l tell you, fellow pizza seekers, that beyond this crown of lies may you find a pie of truth. What I am saying is, if I HAD entered Burger King, I would have been a traitor, a culinary Judas. Pizza 260 is the Mecca of mozzarella, the captain of crust… the one true prophet of pizza. The venerable 260 will avail your taste buds to the holy trinity of tangy, robust sauce, crispy magic carpet crust, and cheese good enough to sacrifice your first born son for. If you order the buffalo chicken, the Prophet himself with drizzle the ejaculate of the Ranch Gods upon your slice. And do not fear, disciples, for they have much more than you can fit in your righteous mouth. Be pie-ous, pizza seekers. I say to you: short is the way, and easy, that out of your apartment leads to nuggets, and(slightly) long(er) is the way, and hard, that leads to 260.

The delivery arrives before they say it will and there is no delivery charge. The prices are great. The pizza is delicious. The mozzarella sticks are NOT as good as Nick’s in South Boston, but still tasty. Where do I begin with the buffalo chicken calzone?! It is so good! The chicken is breaded and they give you two sides of yummy blue cheese to dip it in. This place is somewhere I order from about once a week as a treat.

Looks like another failure. Food is good but for a second time I ordered for delivery and when the driver got to the address he calls and tells me I have to come out to the car. Uh, why would I want to come out if I ordered delivery. Funny part is they used to deliver right to my door, lazy and poor customer service. Won’t get any more of my money

The BBQ chicken pizza here is flavorful and crispy. Its better than new york pizza or upper crust. We ordered a large size but it doesnt really feed four people. Its only 8 slices. The chicken tenders on the other hand are nothing special.

Just another generic pizza joint, but this one charges too much posing as some artisan pizza joint. I ordered a large pie half cheese half Hawaiian. Buffalo wings well done buffalo sauce on the side extra blue cheese, coke and a vitamin water. They forgot the coke and the extra blue cheese, but they charged me .75 for the extra sides, thanks! The pizza must have been sitting on the delivery guys seat tilted so everything slid to one side of the pizza, awesome. A large pie is $ 11.00 + $ 2/topping. I ordered half Hawaiian, half cheese, so that’s Half ham, half pineapple should be $ 2 right? Nope somehow they added $ 3.25 for the toppings, did they charge me for the cheese? Suffice to say I’ll be sticking with L St. and won’t be coming back.

As the newest pizza place in South Boston, Pizzeria 260 fits into the reinvented category of cleaned up and stripped down Mediterranean cuisine. The menu is fairly simple, including salad, paninis, calzones, grinders, and pasta. The pizza is thin crust, almost New York style, and not too greasy. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean, with beautiful exposed brick walls, but the interior design does not seem to extend beyond the point of the establishment: to be a pizza joint. I think that the real question will be whether this place will withstand the test of time, and maintain a clean fresh quality, or will it fade into the sea of grease joints like Broadways Best around South Boston? There is a tremendous opportunity here to offer a borderline artisanal pizza to the new young professional crowd in this area of South Boston.
