I can’t comment on the coffee since I had a hot Chai Tea but that was quite good. The pastry looks delicious, I had a small cannoli that was very good and reasonably priced. The place is very clean and the staff were super friendly. I’ll be back.

Picked up pastries for a friend and myself and a latte for me this morning. The latte was great, very good espresso. The pastries included a blueberry scone(ok), a chocolate croissant, and a raspberry swirl(both excellent). Can’t wait to try more!

I am so happy that I found this place! The espresso was brewed perfectly. it was like being back in Italy. And the pastries were just wonderful… I brought some home for my wife and she asked when we can go again for more :))

It’s so nice to have a great coffee shop in my area of Southie now. The staff are friendly and they always have a good selection of pastries. They also know how to make a good Americano which is makes it for me. I would support this local shop over any of the chains on west Broadway.

The good stuff is that this place is really pretty on the inside and a great space to hang out. Also the breakfast sandwich was amazing. Lots of bacon, freshly cooked egg, melted cheese — just great! The coffee, however, was really underwhelming and I feel that’s something Southie is really missing. The cappuccino was full of milk instead of foam so more like a latte. I’d really like a place in southie that takes coffee seriously and has a better selection of drinks and skill at making them.

The inside of the café is very nice and a comfortable place to sit and enjoy your coffee. The coffee was good, and the pastries(a Blueberry Scone and a Plain Croissant) were delicious and super fresh! However, I just found it a bit pricey given what you were getting. I ended up paying $ 10 for two small coffees and both pastries, which is at least $ 3 more than what I would pay at places like Flour and the Thinking Cup. Although the pastries were quite good, I can’t justify paying that much for such basic items.

Really excited to find a non franchise coffee shop in the neighborhood that’s good to do some work in. Staff is friendly, pastries are from a bakery in the neighborhood and look incredible, and the coffee is pretty good.

Glad to see a new coffee shop open on a much needed stretch of West Broadway. The space is nice, just a little boring, much like its neighbor Pizzeria 260(who named these places?). Zero personality here from the name, to the sign, to the interior. Coffee shops should be a place you want to hang out in! Be creative, funky, inspiring, etc. Anyway. The coffee is terrible. The same watered down crap you’ll find throughout Southie(other than Starbucks). The breakfast sandwiches however, are top-notch and earned a star. The owners and staff seem very nice and I do wish them luck. I just hope that they recognize that they opened a café — your customers want coffee. Make them a nice strong cup and serve it in a unique environment and maybe they’ll stick around for a pastry or two.

Thrilled to find this new coffee shop right in my neighborhood. Much better than lots of coffee shops in the immediate and nearby areas, especially because it is actually not a bad environment to sit and do work. They have all the expected drink options, great pastries, nice staff. The review WOULDBE a 5 star, were it not for a few issues that they can easily work out: 1. The coffee drinks need some tweaks. The cappuccino had not nearly enough coffee, it was mostly milk. It barely tasted like coffee. I watched it being made and the coffee to milk ratio was just too low, especially for the size of the cup. Also, they sprinkled what seemed like either sugar or some kind of sweetened chocolate powder on top without asking. This is not the way cappuccino should be served. It should be espresso + milk + milk foam, and the drinker should decide whether to add anything else to it. Both easy to fix. 2. Smaller gripe: They have free wifi, but it was slow the day I was there. Doubtful it was because of too many people being on it, since there was only one other person in the place. 3. Even smaller gripe: it is a little too brightly lit and seems somewhat of a clinical environment. 4. Smallest gripe: They play sort of «elevator muzak» in the café. Creates a sterile vibe in combination with the bright lighting. Even without fixing the wifi, if they tweak the coffee drinks, turn the lights down slightly and change the music to either jazz or hipster alternative, we will have a bonafide hipster Wifi café in the west side of South Boston very soon, a title for which Broadway Pastry is currently a top contender.

First time here! Great coffee. Friendly staff. Wifi available. And walking distance from Broadway Station. We love to support local bakeries/cafes.
